Question Aptx Tws+ does not work for OnePlus 9 pro Oxygen 11 - OnePlus 9 Pro

I ran into a problem when I switched from color wasps to oxygen wasps, because for some reason, the aptx tws+ does not want to work on oxygen wasps + although everything worked on color wasps as it did on my previous one plus smartphones Oxygen os.
That is, the aptx tws+ does not work for wasp oxygen.
But everything worked for the color wasps.
My headphones vivo tws 2019 and they support this kode Aptx Tws+
Is it possible to somehow make this cadec work on OnePlus 9 pro s under the control of oxygen wasps?

I don't like wasps. Bees are bro's.
I haven't the slightest clue what you're asking.

Someone would need to make a magisk module to allow or replace that codec bc oxygen os does not support it

Well doesn't work on 9pro, need to ask in the magisk modules request thread for someone to make one for you.
Have you tried this? Don't know if it helps
[Module] aptx (HD) for Android 12/11/10/9/8 LineageOS 18.1/19.0
Hi there, This is a magisk module compatible with any android device (except x86) running at least android oreo up to latest and greatest Android 11! It was tested on lineage based roms but should work on all AOSP and some stock roms just fine...

LDAC bluetooth codec in global developer rom(android oreo)

Hi everyone.
I am wondering if anyone has successfully used LDAC codec on the MIX2?
I have paired my SONY wi-1000x and only get APTX-HD. I am on the latest global developer oreo ROM.
I clicked on LDAC in developer options but it still shows aptx-HD, which is also whats shown in the SONY official headphone app.
I have seen on miui forum from old posts that MIUI team is waiting for LDAC drivers from Quacomm or something...don't know if that is still the case for the latest global developer ROMs.
Any input?
Thanks!

Thx.
LDAC don't work on Android 8.0, issue fixed on 8.1, so you will need to wait android 8.1 unfortunately

Hey there mates, since i have updated to MIUI 10 than LDAC is finally working with my MDR-100ABN as seen in developers option.
Cheers?

I have/had same issue. I've rebooted phone, changed aptx to different codec and still aptx was shown in the menu. HOWEVER, sound quality increased drastically (well it hasn't improved, it just started to sound like it should...). So it seems that after all changing the coded worked. To mention, I was testing on Spotify and after updating the codec I have just moved that settings to background, haven't closed them - not sure if relevant.
I am using miui 10.0.2.0 stable global version.
LDAC is working with my WI-1000X finally.
No root, no bootloader unlocker, google pay also works.
Confirming, mix2 china version, installed global v10.0.2, supports LDAC with 1000xm3, locked, non-rooted

[MOD] Dolby Digital Plus (UNiTY)

[README]
* This is the invention from mr. AKAVKL / AKA_VKL. I just modified some script in it to remove SELinux conversion.
* I've tested on LineageOS 15.1 (Oreo) and LineageOS 16 (Pie) based ROMs and rooted using Magisk, it runs fine.
* Flash it with your own risk, don't blame me if it's not working for you, always backup your data before trying something new, obviously.
[DOWNLOADS]
Filename : Dolby Digital Plus (UNiTY).zip

[INSTRUCTIONS]
* For safety issues, remove other sound equalizer app before flash (such as AudioFx, and the others).
* Use Magisk Manager to flash. Open Magisk Manager, go to Modules, add the zip file, reboot.

Working well on Mi Mix 2 with Miui 10
@heindrix, does this Dolby audio mod still work on the latest crDroid Oreo ROM by Gavin? I'm seeking to try and find Dolby to flash in my Mi Mix.

Edit, sorry wrong post
It works for my resurrection remix 6.1(official) on Redmi Note 5pro. Thanks devs!! ??
For others -don't forget to wipe dalvik
Cool, thanks. Works on my redmi note 5pro youth RR oreo, now hopefully audio modification library module will be updated to support this and viper fx together. At the moment only one can be active at a time

I haven't tried in Pie yet, since i'm not using Mix for a week now, lol.
I'm using my other phone (Nova 2s) now, but i'll back to Mix next week, will test Dolby and i will see if i can upgrade GPU Driver to higher version.
It is working fine (so far) on Oneplus 3T. Official LOS 15.1 and magisk 17.1 stable build.
I had bootloop on first reboot, then I forced reboot and it worked. :good:
Edit: it stopped processing after a short while. I tried to reboot device but went again in bootloop rebooting in recovery mode. Restoring my backup fixed everything. Any suggestion?
(I know this mod is not for my device).

The honor v20 supports treble however honor hasn't enabled it.
And emui 9.1 is in beta stage not magic UI 2.1 (skin of emui 9.1 which is what the honor view 20 is set to get in may)

From where did you get it?
All devices launched with Oreo should support treble or else they won't get certified by Google. V20 supports treble.

I phrased it wrong.
The honor view 20 does support treble however it doesn't support treble ROMs as well as seamless updates.

Seamless updates are not much a issue. For that you need two partitions A and B which implies more ROM space is reserved for system . Only a few devices have A/B partition.
Supporting treble and being able to flash treble compatible ROMs are completely different things.. If you want to flash a treble ROM or GSI (or any custom ROM) you need to have an unlocked bootloader.. Which is officially not possible now.
You could flash a treble ROM which was signed by Honor.. But there are none which I am aware off..

Aptx-HD mod?

Hi guys, As you know Samsung removed Aptx-HD from its newer devices. On another hand most of wireless headphones don't support LDAC.
So what do you think about the option to ask ROM developers to include it manually?
As I digged out there is a mod which supports Android 10.

Hi there, This is a magisk module compatible with any android device (except x86) running at least android oreo up to latest and greatest Android 11! It was tested on lineage based roms but should work on all AOSP and some stock roms just fine...

Can be pushed with adb? Back in the day, people used to push Beats audio libs to get the sound effect, I know the issue with Bluetooth is the configuration to get the system to do sbc, then acc, aptx, AptXHD, ldac, from worst to better priority.

Question Viper 4 Android

I recently got the OnePlus 9 pro. I also have a Galaxy S21 ultra. using seLinux permissive v2 and audio modification library modules, it was possible to install viper for Android on the S21 ultra. on this 9 Pro however, absolutely nothing is working. I tried both versions of viper, the Ichigo kurosaki version, and the as well as the 2.7.2.1 Dewitt version.
Absolutely nothing works. Has anyone found a way to successfully install the drivers and get this to work on the 9 pro?

yeah dude rooting is easy. Just do the patching file with magisk manager, and flash with fastboot) like you would anything else. getting quite worried that viper won't install at all. I don't want to have to use James DSP which sucks in comparison.
There is a viper4android11 that I've been using on 8pro without issue. It was posted after the update to 11 and reg Viper wasn't working, I wonder if that would work for you. It's here on XDA.

I've been using it since I couldn't get V4A to work on OP8P, its easy to install and working great. It's not as extensive as V4A but does a good job in sound processing.
Guys! Op here. I figured it out! believe it or not there's an easy fix. If you simply install James DSP first. After that, the 2.7.21 DeWitt version of viper for Android will install the drivers and process just fine. Sound goodness is back on this device! Just make sure legacy mode is checked off.
I have been having so many issues getting the new v4a to work, u may want to search magisk and do the legacy
