im currently trying to build octavi os 3.0, based on android 12 for the a705fn
if it doesnt work it doesnt work

Gsi have to much Bugs i prefere Stable rom
then you have to wait till a developer builds android 12 for the a70

I've been trying few GSIs A12 and they rock, speed and battery is awesome. There are a few things that don't work but if u can live without them there's no looking back .
Now the biggest problem for me is that I can't get magisk working, I tried pretty much everything
If anyone can get it to work on a A12 GSI please tell me

I tried the A12 GSIs from phh, Andy, ProtonAOSP and PE. Telefon App Always worked for me

Send mi on priv best gsi for you Flash normal on twrp ?
With GSI u can't expect all to work, just the basics like phone, camera, Bluetooth and such. It's better then not having updates anymore cause A70 won't get official updates from Samsung. Once u try A12 u habe a hard time going back

Use PBRP recovery because TWRP is more complicated and not really ready for A12.

Mix 2s has treble so they just used the generic system image of P which had been out for a while.
Basically nothing special for a treble device.
It doesn't seem to boot on our treble port from Nils or Verevka so idk what's different about it.
Eh.
We will probably get LOS P in the future but for now we only just got Oreo and P is way off being a full release.

Having closely watched the LOS development for a year, I think it's gonna take a while for LOS in P to be as stable as current LOS in Oreo. And regression bug can still keep coming, regardless how mature it is.

Mi Mix2s Android P Beta is not a GSI. It's a specific image for that system. If it was a GSI then would we able to use it already on our Mi6.

I wan't all the goodies available when it comes to the google assistant, my take is, the new assistant features like calling a hair salon will be available on P first.
I also like the suble changes in design that come with each iteration of android.

Its been long time since i flashed any version of MIUI 10 as i am using Pie sGSI, if you know the answer just give it no need to be so rude about it.

Hello, Updated today simply by transferring rom in device and using system updater> select package and that's it.
Everything works fine. + Face ID by changing Region to India.

Their is already some GSI roms and some aosp ports r available for our device as the Android Q itslef in beta stage so bugs will be more....
If ur looking to try Android Q rom search for LZY roms in our device forum.... He ported many interesting roms to our device... ???

Im currently running Aosp 9 rom installed almost a year back.
Do i have to flash android 10 official firmaware and thern android 11 official firmware and root, twrp and flash custom rom. Or directly possible to flash aosp 11 rom through twrp?

no need, FW always overwrite files, (that's why it's possible to downgrade FW)
just one thing to keep in mind :
some A11 dev recomand using A10 FW to be able to use 5GHz frequency in WiFi
ask the dev of the rom you want to use about the FW if you plan to use 5GHz ...

a question did anyone get any android 13 gsi booting on this phone except the official google gsi? like the new unofficial build from Nazim here or the android 13 build by sooti for redmi 9S from here which booted on most of the phones even galaxy a21s why not A32? none of them are booting and android 13 gsi's are just soo smooth. like the official google gsi in 60Hz is like 90hz to me yeah there is lag here and there but it just soo smooth. the new spark os 13 build didnt boot and got stuck at boot logo. or maybe i am just too impaitent? the gsi just sat on the booting screen i gave it 5-7 minutes to boot it didnt. These gsi's have the phh patches otherwise i would just daily drive the google gsi. i hope someone has a solution for this.

it have the phh patches and i dont think gapps work on it but you can try this : MicroG with Play store
