1st - I want this notification bar with all its icons to Auto-Hide ALWAYS, and show up only when i swipe it down,
and than after set amount of time to auto-hide.
2nd - I want this navigation bar at the bottom to also Auto-Hide ALWAYS also, and when i swipe UP to be shown,
and than after set amount of time to auto-hide.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So that's basically it.
How can i achieve that?
P.S.
So i am about to get my new phone "Samsung Galaxy A22 (4G)" in about 5 days, so i want to prepare for it.
Im buying glass protection, mask (something like this) and also, since its an AMOLED (OLED) screen, and It's known that OLED screens can get burn-ins,
(my other OLED phones already have burn-ins in some form or another) so i want to take care of it as much as i can, as i always did, but
what i noticed is that burn-ins on my previous devices are from navigation and notification bars mostly...actually ONLY from those two!
So i was thinking on removing those two to auto hide them.
There is a partial solution since i use NOVA launcher prime, it can hide notification bar but only
from home screen.
Whenever i'm in any other application it's shown again, unless that aplication it self hides it and go full screen, like youtube in full screen for example.
I want it to always be hidden unless i swipe it to be visible. Same with navigation bar. I want clean screen and only on demand bars.
Plus, i want it in generan even if its not OLED but more so with OLED!
Now here's the thing, i cant find a solution! I thought its a simple thing or that there is an option in settings,
but there is none. I also tried some play store apps, but they dissable keyboard and back button. Some even say i need to enable permission
by entering command from PC and so on... i dont wanna get some malware or whatever on my phone.
I came here for some elegant, simple solution without so many steps, and even if some permissions are needed i feel more comfortable you guys telling me i can safely do that than some sketchy app or tutorial online.
Thanks in advance guys!

[HELP] On-Screen Keyboard Options Pop-up ALL THE TIME

I don't know is it an issue only I have, or maybe it's a well-know problem that Touch Pro2 users have to deal with but whenever I hit the lowest, middle part of the screen, the Keyboard's Options pop-up, although there's no icon to click. The on-screen keyboard on the other hand never pop's-up by itself, so the issue only regards the Option's box.

I find this highly irritating, 'cause it happens EVERYWHERE: when I try to hit OK in G-Alarm; when I'm not too precise with the Sense slider or - and this is extremely irritating - when I play games designed for Portrait mode (the upper screen was taken while playing "The Simpsons Arcade"). Portrait mode games are just unplayable (hence the controls are often in the lower screen parts).
I don't really use the options box. If I ever use the on-screen keyboard (which isn't often) I have it always set to Phone Keyboard when in Portrait, and to Full Qwerty in Landscape. I never change those options so if it's possible to disable the Option's box all together that'll be just fine.
I'm not sure is it relevant, but I use an official ROM upgrade to Sense 2.1
Oh come on! I'm sure someone can help. Please? This is a truly irritating bug.
dude, i've never had this happen unless the keyboard icon was present in the middle. sure, if i hit a little weird (which technically I think is to the right of the icon (?)) that screen pops up..
I have no idea why its happening, but since no one has replied, I wonder if it is a glitch or bug w/ just what you got..? have you tried any other roms or resetting to factory default?
Not yet - I'd hate to reinstall all my applications, set them all over again and tweak the phone from scratch (I know I can do a backup but if I would decide to install a new ROM I would switch from the official upgrade (Sense 2.1 with WM6.5) to a cooked 2.5 and the backup wouldn't work).
I don't really fell like doing that just to fix one minor problem.
It's like with bugs on Windows PC - people usually let you to format your disc and install the OS again, but I'm always able to fix any issues I have without formating the device (I haven't done that in a year).
But I'm not that good with Windows Mobile, so I'm asking for your help, oh mighty ones
I'm sure it's something that could be fixed within the registry of with Total Commander - I just don't know how to find the bug myself.
Maybe someone could post his/hers setting from the registry (from directions that have something to do with the on-screen keyboard) so I could compare them with my reg keys?

Am I the only one? lol

Am I the only one with baby hands that has to move all the icons to a certain area on the home screen to be able to reach them lol. Just wonder how many others out there have the same kind of screen. My galaxy s5 was a stretch but using the G4 one handed for me FORGET IT haha

Even though I use two hands, I still move my frequently used icons to minimize my reach for them .
I have a lot of problems typing on mine i always hit periods and spaces even with split keyboard
It takes a little adjustment period. Are new G4 owners? I am 5'6" and game from a G2. This has a slightly larger screen and took some gettig used to. I can still use it one handed with little effort.
The keyboard layout always screwed with me. The period and comma on the right side causes me to hit comma too often. I edited my keyboard so comma is on the left and the right only has period and enter. It shifts the space bar over because I am used to spacing with my right thumb.
Otherwise I use Action Launcher with no dock. I just throw my 6 commonly used icons at the bottom row. Then just a left-right swipe for the drawer. Its a vertical drawer thats alphabetical, so just scroll until your thumb can grab what you want. Pretty easy and solid setup.
I used to use Nova Prime on my phone and Action Launcher on my tabs. But since using AL on my phone I find it so much easier to use. I only have 2 desktop pages; #1 is my 6 icons, #2 has a full page twitter widget.
Homescreen
This is Action Launcher 2. For some reason I do not like Action Launcher 3.
I use my nose for hard to reach apps lol. I did this in front of people and they think i am kissing my phone
Ya like oh lg g4 i love you lol
Bahaha

Looking to adjust quick settings grid, & display full date on status bar

I just got a n976v SD, and am looking to make it look like my old phone-

1) I want to make the QS panel ~7x3 grid.
2) I want to display the full date and time on the left side of the status bar (Sun November 22 12:00:01 AM)
3) I want to make the notification panel easier to read (less.. stylish)
I haven't used Samsung in a few years (Note 2, 4, used a 9 for a little bit but liked Xiaomi Mi Mix better).
I see that the "grid button" in QS was removed at some point, and I don't think you can edit the grid pattern easily.
this link: https://www.xda-developers.com/customize-size-quick-settings-button-layout-samsung-galaxy/ from 2017 seems to not work (comments say it doesn't work with Note 10+)
I'm a little familiar with adb from unlocking/rooting/flashing Mi Mix, but haven't used it in a long time.
I also see some talk of System UI launcher shortcut (I think you can change the # of columns for the 1st row that are shown with a short pulldown).
I downloaded Good Lock & the modules. It seems like a lot of flashy superficial stuff & not as much functional stuff. Maybe I'm not understanding NoviStar/QuickStar enough yet. It had some useful tools for dual window.
I used Nova launcher to make a 9x9 homescreen grid.
And I changed dpi to >525. Helped me like the phone so much more.
I loved AICP on the Mi Mix. So easy to customize everything. I'm going to miss the phone.. but the Note has better battery, camera, & S pen. The Mix is still so beautiful and plenty powerful for my needs..
There's Good Lock, Quickstar but more for getting rid of status bar junk.
Pure black where my status bar was... and therefore not prematurely burning out my OLEDs.
Also saves a little battery.
Maybe a 3rd party app or launcher can do it.
Probably not worth all the trouble but good luck.

Question Change lockscreen clock!!!

So I am sure this has been asked many times, I just cant seem to find it, lol.
I hate the digital square clock thing on the lock screen and from what I can tell and read there is not an easy way to change this. Nice!!
I am rooted, any suggestions on how to change this to a normal digital or analog clock? I am not sure why would there not be an option for something as SIMPLE as this?
I hear this changed in Android 12, but in 13, its a new "feature"?
The only way to change it currently is to leg l leave some kind of notification as unminimized. I know in another thread in this section someone mentioned a particular app for creating a dummy notification you can leave displaying all the time. Having a notification that displays on the lockscreen makes the lockscreen small as in screenshot below.
Now if you don't let notifications display on your lockscreen, then there's nothing you can do about it for now (until / if someone finds a way).

Thanks, will look into that. Any idea WHY this would be restricted this way, lol?
I just use the built in screen saver and have it set to the digital clock. Down side is that the screen saver only works when the phone is charging/docked.
You can try AODNotify or
Tasker can help you change the size of Android 12's AOD clock
A new Tasker project allows you to choose between the small and large clock designs on Android 12's Always-On Display.

With A12 Google removed a lot of the customization options we once had, such as setting a specific icon layout in the status bar and choosing a font style. Samsung still retains these features.
In A12 the lock screen clock is new, while in A13 there is supposedly new options being developed that will allow you to change the display format. It may also arrive in A12L.
Your best bet is to install a 3rd party AOD app to customize your lock screen or wait for a custom ROM.

Question can't turn off back to home screen animation in gesture navigation mode, help

I am a new s22 user, I have turned off all animations in the developer settings, all animations are turned off except when you swipe up from the bottom in any open app to go to the home screen, the app screen does a little animation and shrinks into the app icon. it's pretty annoying. it only happens in gesture navigation mode, if you change it to the button navigation bar, pressing the home screen button at the bottom shows no animation. does anyone else experience this? I did all sorts of searches online, but the results are not consistent, it feels like it's a problem related to the android 12 rather than Samsung and many pixel phones have the same issue.
If you want traditional virtual buttons, Galaxy store>Goodlock family of apps>Navstar
One Handed Operation plus is another Good Lock app that allows dozens of swipe gestures switches from the right/left sides. Very customizable and uses almost no battery.

All stock N10+ using the above options. Edge is also active and can be used in conjunction with One Handed Operation plus.
doesn't really answer my question though, do you have s22/android 12 phone? would you be able to confirm for me even all the animations are turned off in the developer setting, the back-to-home/minimize app gesture still shows annoying animation? thanks kindly to anyone who can confirm this for me (so that I know it's a system problem rather than a problem with my phone/software)

Yes this seems to be OS level. I get the same behavior on both my S22 Ultra and Tab S7; both running Android 12. I use Microsoft Launcher on both, so it's not a OneUI (at least I don't think it is) feature. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off. At least not without digging in to the OS.
