Dead phone after trying to install GSI - Huawei Nova 2 Plus Questions & Answers

HI everyone.
My phone (nova 2 plus , bac-l21) had android 8.0 + root (magisk) + TWRP.
I was installing generic system image (GSI) based on android 9 (Link).
After doing all steps in fastboot, phone doesn't start normally and now I have no idea to solve the problem.
I tried to install original android 7 & 8 via HWOTA and also install TWRP to flash custom rom but they doesn't work.
I have no TWRP no OS.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks.

When you get an warning about the bootloader press the volume up for 3 seconds to boot into eRecovery and press the first option and connect to your wifi and download the latest version of the Stock ROM
Try The Openkirin Android 9 GSI it is in the device forum it is based on lineage os 16

How to install Magisk without Twrp in Android 10.

I was using Twrp and Magisk previously on Realme X with android 9.
But when Android 10 released for Realme X . I updated it to android 10 manually using ozip file. After it TWRP removed automatically and stock recovery flashed automatically with android 10 update.
Now my device is not rooted because root access removed after flashing new Stock Rom .
I want to install Magisk once again but i found that TWRP is not fully developed for android 10 so i can't install Magisk with help of Twrp.
The other method i found is using patched boot image of stock recovery but i don't have stock recovery because stock recovery is also updated with latest updated.
If anyone have extracted new stock rom recovery please attach it or suggest any other method to flash Magisk.

stuck in bootloader/recovery, can't flash ROMs.

Hello,
i'm stuck in a particular situation: i can use fastboot and i can flash recoveries but none of them can succesfully flash a rom. i want to go back to the stock Realme UI, my device is RMX1993.
i tried to follow the guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x2/how-to/to-stock-rom-howto-t4014773) but the last recovery (rmx1993-sde20-stock_recovery-c05) can't flash neither RMX1993EX_11_OTA_1040_all_tSZ3Sf5A77NS nor RMX1993EX_11_OTA_1050_all_loALrMDyMrbs.
tried to flash trough orangefox or the last twrp that support ozip decription but the result is a "succesful flash" but a phone that does not go over the boot screen and it reboot.
i succesfully installed color os trough the proper old stock recovery and it said the installation was succesfull, but the problem was the same.
someone know where could be the problem?
You need to successfully flash Android 10 (Realme UI 1.0) before you can flash custom Android 10 roms.
Have you tried this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x2/help/how-to-flash-q-firmware-based-roms-t4115987
As for why your colorOS back up is not working i'm not quite sure...have you wiped your cache before booting to the color os backup?

Help - not booting into os!

Hi.
I dont know where to start.
My redmi 5a had the last original software miui 11 based (android 8.1). Then I successfully unlocked the bootloader some days ago and somehow managed to install nitrogenOS (android 11 based).
Then I tried to flash another custom rom and everything went bad. I cant boot into any os anymore. I get stuck at the boot screen with the android logo and after some time it starts again and again...
I already tried to install a custom oreo recover firmware, which works, so I could start twrp again. But then every os I tried to install does not work. Fastboot works.
I am very confused now and dont know what to do next
Since you have bootloader already unlocked you can use Mi Flash (Xiaomi's own flash tool) to flash a stock ROM back to you device. This usually help, but of course, it will make you lose the custom ROM installed and the recovery.
Also, pay attention while flashing with this tool. There is an option at the bottom of the program that locks the bootloader again. If you don't want that you have to change this options every time you close the program.
OK, I started XiaomiTool V2 (on linux) and choose the option, that my device is bricked. I then have to choose my model (Redmi 5a riva) and start in fastboot. Now the tool starts to download and install the following rom to recover the smartphone:
riva_global_images_V11.0.2.0.OCKMIXM_20191106.0000.00_8.1_global_605da3d46d.tgz
But it does not work. The smartphone starts and I can see the start screen (powered by android). After some seconds there is a white screen with the words: just a sec. Then the smartphone starts again and it repeats again and again...
Nobody an idea?

This has happened to me before. From the name of the image that XiaomiTool download and installed I can assume it is an more recent ROM. (since it has 2019 and 8.1 Global in it)
Do not let XiaomiTool download and install a ROM. Download a older Stock ROM yourself and make XiaomiTool install the ROM that you have download.
As I said previously. Try to download the original Stock ROM that came with your phone when you bought. BEFORE ANY official updates from Xiaomi. This have worked for me.
Hi.
Thanks It works now. I have installed the stock rom.
Is there a guide to get from stock rom (nougat) to custom rom?

So firstly you need a recovery image (TWRP, PBRP, OF, Batik Recovery) to replace MIUI Recovery. flash it via fastboot with adb (you can do it right?).
After that reboot and push the button to recovery and remember make backup firstly or you can ignore it and yeah do it own your risk.
wipe or advanced wipe Cache, Data, System, Dalvik, Vendor.
and then install the CUSROM, and GApps.
and yeah only that to install CUSROM i know

Twrp logo stuck

Hello guys. I have successfully installed pixel experience ROM to my realme 6 pro using TWRP recovery. Now, I want to root my phone and flash magisk but Everytime I tried to boot to recovery (twrp) it's just stuck on twrp logo and it won't proceed then after like few minutes it just boot to OS. Same happens when using fastboot commands.
Note: Same twrp version with the one I used to flash pixel exp.
Now this leads me to think that ,maybe, the twrp version I was using to flash pixel experience ROM won't work anymore since pixel exp is on Android 12 and that version of twrp only works on the previous versions of androids. Please help. Thanks in advance.

What should I do? (Trying to install an android 12 rom)

Hi, I'm not very experienced when it comes to this stuff, and seeing the threads here left me confused as to what is the best course of action to install an android 12 rom.
I already have my bootloader unlocked, and I have the twrp 3.4 img as well as the AospExtended 9.0 zip, but some users advise against TWRP. Should I just install this rom by booting into twrp (and how exactly would i do that)? I'm on stock android 10.
