Question Does Samsung A52s have dual apps function? all apps not just whatsapp and facebook - Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G

Hello.
So this is my first samsung phone, and I usually use Xiaomi. In Xiaomi dual apps is already a basic function, it works on almost every apps and really simple to use. Now in samsung I can't seem to find how to do dual apps. There's just dual messenger so it's only for whatsapp and facebook.
Is there a way for me to have dual apps on samsung? Do I have to install dual/clone apps from play store, if yes please recomend me which one to use.
Thank you!

Take a look at Secure Folder, it should be available on your phone already (you might need to enable it in Settings).
Secure Folder - Samsung

Yes, it has Dual Messenger as a part of One UI.
Check Settings/Advanced/Dual Messenger

-Wifi tethering : any way without root? for tether with ipad
-Push mail through the HTC app...possible?
-How can i change the defaut app to open for X action...

-How can i use picasa ? i keep having an error (authentification...) in gallery app.
-voicesearch and speech to text. Installed HTC IME KB, Voice app and nothing work. I cant have the keyboard in the list of KB. And voice search doesnt work...(error connex)
thanks a lot
You want WinMo
oh no i dont
For all those questions, yes you do as it does them...the Desire doesn't as yet.
- It has Push for Googlemail, I think there is another app you can use for other account types
- Can't change default apps
- Can't use other SMS software (I don't think, could be wrong)
- Can't tether without rooting (as you've said)
HD2 does all these, some stock some with custom ROMs

- what about the support for Exchange push in the mail program?
-if you install another program, you may be able to. you can remove the defaults for applications in the settings. that's why you can switch between homescreens once you have installed launcher2.apk....
- there's plenty of other SMS software in the market, ChompSMS, Handcent etc.
- yes, you need to root.
But overall, yeah, it sounds like for the kinda stuff you want to do, winmo would be better all round.

Honestly you don't need google Earth it's 22mb and the maps does the same thing!
Also big drain on battery (Earth and Maps) so not something you would want to use all the time anyhow.
Search around for apps as you may find one that does same but for less space.
Also, are you using all the apps? Are a lot of them just games?
Be smart with the limited space.
It's not ideal I know, but until anything changes not a lot you can do.
-Internal memory
Yes, this is a pain. I wish Google would let us put stuff on SD card already without having to root the phone and HTC needs to put less preinstalled crap too replacing it with OTA on demand instead. Teeter? WTH!
-Wifi tethering
Yes, PDANet and some other application allow BT/WiFi/USD tethering with Windows/OSX and Linux. Probably not with iPad because it has no USB, BT is crap (if same as on iPhone) ... not real OS X.
-Push mail through the HTC app...possible?
No. Google's own email app will do push for Gmail accounts only. HTC email will check at specified intervals.
-How can i change the defaut app to open for X action...
You can't, as far as I know.
-Can i use another SMS software with the HTC message widget? exemple when i click new message it open the defaut one...
Yes. There are two very popular ones, but HTC's own is all I need.
-How can i use picasa ? i keep having an error (authentification...) in gallery app.
Yes. Not sure about your error. You can get Gallery app from N1 and use that instead of HTC's Photos.
-voicesearch and speech to text. Installed HTC IME KB, Voice app and nothing work. I cant have the keyboard in the list of KB. And voice search doesnt work...(error connex)
Hmm, by default HTC IME doesn't do voice. I installed Voice Search with Android default keyboard and have that feature now. Although I rarely use it. Swype FTW! Check the forums there was a link to the apk to get it all working.
thanks a lot...for the answer even though some are really mindblowing in the worst way
thx !
yup yup
You've summed up some of the biggest problems with Android and the Desire.
The inability to install apps to an SD card is a big problem - one that can be solved by waiting for root, or by waiting for the next release of Android (I think Google have said they are working on this feature for the next version). Basically, just by waiting.
I use IMAP IDLE with the K-9 email app for push IMAP email from my fastmail.fm account. Works instantly and perfectly. Love it.
Hope this helps a little.

My Applications/Manage Applications FCs on me all the time (it is probably some app installed from apk that causes this problem). Don't see said app show up in APK or ASTRO.

Removing stock apks

Will anybody offer expert advice regarding the pros and cons of uninstalling the following apks in Note 2.If doing so, will it anyway improve the performance? The apks are listed below.
All share cast, All share cast Dongle spl, All share play, All share service, Bubbles, ChatON, Choco EU Kor, Deep sea, Flipboard, Game Hub, Google Play Books, Google Play Magazines, Google+, Group Play, Luminous dots, Phasebeam, Picasa Uploader, Polaris Viewer, Ripple wall, Rose EU Kor, Samsung Apps, Samsung AppsUNA2, Talk, Windy weather, Yahoo Finance , Yahoo News, Google Play Music & Chrome.
Waiting with thanks in advance..
I don't think removing all these will make your device fly
If any battery monitor showing any of these application draining juice then you can remove/disable.
Truly speaking i have all these and neither of it even records 0.1% juice at end of the day unless i have used that application.
Now if you saying about RAM, Android itself have inbuilt LMK (low memory killing)mechanism, whenever it needs RAM, it will remove unused application from background.
If still you needs more RAM (Cosmetically) you can find option in development option in setting to limit application number in background, though i can't say weather it will be helpful to save juice or raise performance.

Instead of removing these, use Titanium Backup (you must be rooted) or similar to freeze them instead. Why? Sometimes you need them, and when you do you'll wish you hadn't uninstalled them completely. Also, a lot of the built-in application reside in the system partition, so removing them isn't going to get you any more storage space. What you really want to do is stop them from loading into RAM and hogging space if you don't use them at all. Freezing (i.e., disabling) them should do this. At the very least they won't run in the background and eat battery.
Also, some other apps/system services may link to these and if you uninstall them suddenly the system stops working the way it should (be especially careful of Samsung apps). When that happens you may need them to get the system back to where it should be. Unfreezing is a lot easier than trying to find them online or in a backup.
Finally -- before you do anything, backup, backup, backup.

Thank you very much.
Don't forget about Greenify, easy to use yet powerful.

Well I remove quite a bit out of my system/app folder and I see my android system battery usage drop significantly during the day, so I can't say it won't help as long as you don't use those items.
However all the things you listed are OK to remove, but I do recommend making a backup of the app folder at least. Ideally do a whole nandroid backup first.
When removing them, be sure to delete the apk and the odex file for the respected apk.
There's also alot more you can delete without losing much on the phone besides NFC which I never use anyway.
Lol i remove all system apps from samsung (except the snote, calendar etc.,) so far everything is fine

[Q] [ROOT] Could we allow split screen with any app via root?

Currently split screen is very limited on the G4, can't split screen any of the apps I actually want to like I could on my S6, shame really. Anyone think once root is released this limit to apps that few care about could be lifted? It'd be nice to be able to split screen Facebook & Kik again for example, sucks not having that .
When root comes out yes u can enable all apps in splitscreen u can download biuld prop editor and change a value.

Already done. See above link. I think there is an App in the Play Store that can actually do this for you. I think 1 method unlocks ALL apps and the Play Store just lets you customize which ones are allowed. The benefit of selecting which ones are allowed is so you don't have to scour through a ton of apps to find what you want. For me I would probably only use Phone, Email, Gmail, Chrome, XDA, Hangouts, Messaging, etc.

add more apps to parallel apps

Hey. Is there any way to add more apps to parrallel apps list on OnePlus 5T? Considering the fact that the 5T creates a separate hidden user for the parallel apps, there must be a way imo.
I want to make a parrallel version of Discord
This would be nice. If you just want to sign into another account on the SAME app, you can use Island. It creates a sandbox of the apps of your choosing and you can log into a second account. It doesn't help if you want a different version of an app though, like a real version of Spotify and a hacked version to protect your real account. I wish we could install different versions of apps side by side too.

Thanks but i prefer not to use 3rd party apps. I was hoping for a way to get a second version using built in parrallel apps

Question What third-party apps/bloat comes with the S22?

Thinking about getting a S22, and would like to know what third-party (i.e. not Samsung or google) apps are pre-installed - e.g. facebook, tiktok etc. Can they be removed (as opposed to disabled via adb)?
Particularly interested in the Canadian models.

I bought a US Unlocked model of S22 and I do remember seeing Facebook app, but I was able to just uninstall it without any issues. I don't remember what else was there, but I deleted few of the apps that I didn't need/want.
from third-party I only see facebook and microsoft one drive
