Development One+_TooL with Grayed out Oem_Unlock (Bootloader Unlock) enabler & Engineer Decrypt - OnePlus 9 Pro

Here is my latest version of My Oneplus Tool . This tool can do almost everything for you. I have added a method to switch the Oem_Unlock switch on Sim locked devices. It will ungray the switch so you can flip it and bootloader unlock. It still has all the other tools like the engineer mode decrypt, to enable the app. Also lots of hidden SECRETS like every oneplus device has a hidden copy of busybox already installed . and this will access it. Plus this has a long list of dialer codes .There are lots of tools like scrcpy and a windows file explorer for your device. I have also added lots of fastboot adb commands. Please feel free to let me know if anything can be added. I been notifided this has been reported as a virus, it is only a .bat file converted to exe. please scan for yourself.

I have now made this ungray method usless LoL I have a working method that lets u flash msm and boot direct to bootloader and unlock without the need for a oem unlock token from oneplus , even works if ur still sim locked.

any guidance?
better with an instruction。
thx for sharing。

Thank very much. This is awesome !
But like werichard559 said, better with instructions. Otherwise you will get Many Many Many questions....

its self explained in the tool. its just written in bash and packed with everything like adb tools into a exe.
has a menu with items.

Interesting, MS Windows and Linux?

exe on linux? Nah, you could decompile and pull the scripts

Only reason for the exe is to have all the file together. Nice and neat. And unlike all the others that want you to post your IMEI to the NET to do the engineer mode decrypt . I wrote this so the decryption is done in shell on the phone.

Engineer mode from dialer? Did you just script to edit the config file in mnt/vendor/persist/engineermode/engineermode_config ? We appreciate your work. Work smarter not harder

To disable the incryption? ,and enable engineer mode? Yes the config is edited ,can only be done with root . Or a very long process. I released a shell command to do this few months back.It just uses a sed cmd. Now to generate the code on the device in shell to enter . That wasn't easy, had a heck of a time finding a cmd that would get the correct hash I needed for a crc32b . And to have it enter that code for u on the screen,it just had to be done. Lol . I have loads of dialer codes still I haven't added to the tool. A lot I'm not sure what they even do yet ,like *#632# no clue. There is a completely extra app that is also decrypted with the engineer mode. OpEngMode or TmoEngMode for TMobile.

This has all can together just from the data mining and the need for the tools for the reversing of the simlock . I been working on it now for some time and have discovered many other vulnerablitys. I have unlocked some devices, but never 1 the same. Before I released this I descoverd how to flip the oem_unlock switch under the greyed out area.and was able to unpack a msm download and mod to repack it. So after flash the switch is on. By 1 bit I found in one of the partitions. Recently I have located some code just like the engineer mode qr for the sim unlock. And there is a couple RSA private keys with it.I also located a dialer code to skip setupwizard. And another code that gives u all USB access like adb ,diag , all with out verification.

oh,really sad to hear that.
still merry christmas.
thx for ur shares.

I have been working on reversing the OnePlus sim_lock now for over a year. Every device after the Op6 they made a change that if you erase the efs to reset it, You will lose total access to the sim card. It looks to be a key needed by the sim in the SFS path , same location as the simlock fuse.

Windows x86|x64 - Linux x64 - MAC x64All released versions can be found here.

(The latest versions are always on the bottom.)[ROOT] Use SuperSU 2.62 or higher from here systemless for 6.0.1 and above.
 Known bugs/limitations:
- For partition Flashing, it is recommended(mandatory?) to do a reboot-bootloader if you want to flash multiple partitions one after the other. (according to the Google flashing scripts) (Implemented in 1.2.1)- For the return to stock, the tool will be stuck after your phone successfully boots, you need to reboot to fastboot again in order to flash the Radio and finish the full return to stock. (Fixed in 1.2.0)
 Changelog:
Check the changelog for each release here. Tutorials/FAQ:
Q: How do I get in bootloader/fastboot mode?Turn off the phone and turn it on by using Volume down + Power key.Q: How do I check for updates on your tool?Follow the instructions on the screen below.
Q: Where can I find the device driver to install it for windows?Click here, download the driver, and run the setup.Q: How do I root my stock phone?- Unlock bootloader.- Flash recovery.- Use SuperSU 2.62 systemless or higher from here.(Usually the latest version upon tool release is included in the Sideload folder of the tool, you can either sideload it or copy it to recovery and flash it manually)Q: I get an error "Cannot open file" on MAC, what should I do?Open the terminal, go to your application path and paste this command:
Code:
chmod +x LxMultiTool.app/contents/macos/*
Q: What do I need to do in order to be in Fastboot or in ADB mode.Fastboot mode will be detected only while being in bootloader.ADB mode will be detected from Recovery (custom) and actual ROM with USB debugging active.Refresh button needs to be used in order to check for what mode you are in.Q: Are there any other software that I need to install in order to run this tool?On Windows and MAC everything is bundled, so nothing needs to be installed, just run.On Linux you need to install from your package manager libQt5Core, libQt5Widgets, libQt5Gui, libQt5Network.If it's not enough, use ldd LxMultiTool in the terminal to find out what you're missing from your environment.Q: I have a yellow/orange/red text screen during boot, what's that? When you unlock you usually get the Orange screen and it's normal, but if you really want to know what's this about, give a reading to this.Q: Hey, my device is not detected, why?On windows, you need to manually install the USB drivers, they are not included and probably they won't be included in this tool. Also, make sure you click the connection Refresh button after connecting the device to your PC.Q: What do I need to do in order to install a custom ROM?1. Unlock Bootloader.2. Flash a custom recovery of your choice.3. Flash an insecure kernel (boot).4. Flash custom ROM with no problems via recovery. All those things are found and can be done via this tool.Q: Hi, I just downloaded this tool, how do i use it?First, extract the folder somewhere. After that, run LxMultiTool.exe on windows by double-clicking it, LxMultiTool on Linux, and the same on mac.Q: Do I need android-sdk installed or something else? No! This tool uses its own supplied binaries for adb and fastboot, if you have android-sdk installed it will be ignored anyway. This tool is fully portable and stand-alone.Q: I get an error while trying to unlock the bootloader -> FAILED(remote: oem unlock is not allowed), what now?Starting with Android 5.0, you need to enable Bootloader Unlocking from the developer settings, in order to do that, follow these steps:- Enable Developer options- Enable USB Debugging- Look for the ‘OEM Unlock’ Option and toggle it.Q: How do I use the return to stock feature?First, download the latest package from here, then extract the contents (there is an archive in the archive) until you get to a folder like angler-mda89dthat contains the images, that folder needs to be copied in the /Data/StockPackages folder in order to be visible.Easier steps -> Get your device in bootloader -> Start the tool -> Hit refresh -> go to Stock -> hit open folder -> copy the extracted folder with the name angler-xxxxxx in there, hit F5 or Right-click + Refresh -> you should see the folder in there like in the following screenshot. Thanks @ursa08 for the screenie.
Q: How do I enable Developer options?- Launch the Settings- Scroll Down and Tap on About Phone(or About Device)- Locate the Build Number Section- Tap on the Build Number Option 7 Times- Go Back to the Main Settings Page- Scroll Down and Tap on Developer OptionsQ: Hi, I just bought a phone what should I do now?Well, you firstly need to unlock your bootloader...Q: What is logcat?Well, you can pretty much use google for that answer, but to put it short, is that thingy that tells you what is happening behind the scenes of your phone. It is usually used for debugging and entertainment(?).When you report an error/bug to somebody, it will be a blessing to provide a logcat (log file)!Q: What is a Custom Recovery and why do I need one?A custom recovery is that thingy that lets you flash .zip files, use your logic, and you will get it why you need one.Q: There are other guides/tutorials out there. Should I check them instead of this?If you manage to get things done using this one, no, otherwise yes, note that some could be outdated...Q: What is sideload and how do I use it?Sideload is a function from adb that let's you flash a zip file while in recovery directly from your PC.Please note that you need to be in sideload mode on your recovery before doing this.To enter sideload mode, in TWRP go to Advanced -> ADB Sideload -> Swipe to sideload

Got the 128gb monster on the way myself.
Thanks for this. Making it easy for everyone is a great thing I'm so excited to get back on a nexus
Thanks for this tool, I need to start from scratch because I don't have a Nexus since Nexus One
Thanks for this. Will be a first time user for the nexus generation. Just ordered the 6P so will definitely be doing this .
Great seeing this already. Coming from an S4 to the 64GB 6P. Will it be possible to relock the bootloader after installing a custom recovery or is the stock recovery required for the lock?

AFAIK, locking bootloader has nothing to do with the recovery, but then again, I never locked a bootloader...
Pretty sure you'd need to flash stock recovery. It won't hurt anything to try it without stock recovery, but if it doesn't work then you'll know for sure why.
I'm not planning to mess around with it too much until a stock system file is available. I need a Plan B. Lol
Doesn't run for me. (Mac User)
Heres the terminal error
sh [Path to location]/6PMultiTool.v0.2/6PMultiToolv0.2-M.sh

There doesn't seem to be a "simple_curses.sh" file in the tool directory that I can find. Hope you can get it figured out! Thanks for the awesome tool as well!

Unfortunately I never got the chance to test the MAC version, finally I have a tester
From what I can see at a first look is that this simple_curses.sh is some leftover from when I experimented with some UI tricks for bash to try to simulate the looks of the batch version..
Can you please check this temporary version from here -> 6PMultiTool.v0.2.1.zip

BCDEDIT availability

For those looking to use BCDEDIT on their phone, it seems that the restrictions preventing us from doing so exist in the SSH server implementation. If you install the Telnet server and execute BCDEDIT from there, it appears we can at least read the BCD store and enumerate parameters. I have not yet tried to make changes, I am not ready to do so yet. If anyone wants to give it a shot and report back go for it. Careful though, this could result in a brick.

Thanks for sharing but do we have to copy every file in the zip? There are 20 files and it is hard to type.
Op says copy the exe and mui but there are a lot of them and he didn't mention which one we need.

You will want the bootsh files (dll, mui), enable.bat, enable_bootsh.reg, ftpd.exe, gwptcp.exe,mwstartnet.exe,startup.bsc,telnetd.exe, and telnetlogon.exe to get JUST telnet and ftp working at boot. Follow naiples instructions to get this running.
You could optionally not use the files to run telnet and ftp at startup and just run them as needed, and this may be prudent since telnet does not require credentials to access. Once telnet and ftp are running, you'll have a much easier time copying files across over ftp, like telnet it does not have the same restrictions sftp does.

I managed to get a value to update after I saw your updated post, posted the screen after the change. Try it again with the active store, that could be the difference.

You are right. I did and it worked but there is a problem. I enabled boot menu but I don't have a camera button
If I press the volume up key, phone goes into ffu mode. If I press the volume down key, exclamation mark appears. If I press power key it selects windows loader and disables countdown then just waits.

What if we extract 8.1 ffu on a sd card, and add it to the bootloader menu?
Can we dualboot W10 and 8.1?
I don't think it's as simple as adding another ffu.

I made a vhd file from ffu. It contains the whole WP8.1 system for RM-976 but I need an 8gb sd card since I don't have it I couldn't try.

I want but I can't. I don't have a camera button so I can't make os selection.
Couldn't we just make the power button os selection somehow?
Is there a way to use this locally, or do I need to use telnet over ssh?

Thank you for putting this altogether, this should speed up the development work for this phone(kernel etc), as people don't have to go to service center for hard brick.
Also I want to tell you, I shouldn't get the credits for bypass_utility, the two people you mentioned should be getting the credits, I just forked(copy/cloned) the repository.
I assume you are new to github, anyone can fork(copy/clone) a repository by clicking on fork button
You can differentiate whether a repository is forked(copied) or original by seeing on the top left side.
Thanks

Make sure you got up to date samsung drivers and up to date adb blah blah installed

It specially developed Samsung’s newer phone firmware flash with android 10. We assume this will be very useful, so we thought we would share it. Odin3 version 3.14.1 has...
Once flashed boot the phone and connect to WIFI the same WIFI the Windows PC is on
Unzip and Install the FRP tool with WinRAR ONLY
Disable the native Windows 10 antivirus (MAKE ALL GREEN CHECKS DISSAPPER)
Disable signatures verification from the FRP tool... it will ask you to reboot before running the tool.... DONT REBOOT YET
check anti virus again make sure its disabled
NEXT choose either of these methods to make sure signature verification is turned off...also has procedure to turn it back on when done
How to Disable Driver Signature Verification on 64-Bit Windows 8 or 10 (So That You Can Install Unsigned Drivers)64-bit versions of Windows 10 and 8 include a “driver signature enforcement” feature. They’ll only load drivers that have been signed by Microsoft. To install less-than-official drivers, old unsigned drivers, or drivers you’re developing yourself, you’ll need to disable driver signature enforcement.
www.howtogeek.com
NOW REBOOT
It should have test mode listed on your desktop in the bottom right corner
GO to the windows security badge in task view area and check your antivirus status....there will be one its the main one turn it off
make sure phone is CHARGED FULLY powered ON, and connected to the same WIFI as the PC.... when u disabled signature it reset the Samsung drivers....
Connect to the PC with the best USB TYPE C cord you can...let windows set the phone up for file sharing (it prompt you just click on file transfer)... when it makes the windows connect noise and tells you setup is finished click the install button on the FRP tool....make sure you keep the phone screen unlocked and lit up... You will get a prompt on the phone click it to open up the youtube... click the account picture scroll to the bottom and there should be a link for PRIVACY POLICY click the link it will take you to the Real google search......ENTER THIS EXACTLY IN SEARCH BAR addrom click the first link it should say FRP tool 2021 or something similar
open galaxy store from the menu.....update the app if needed when its finished updating back out with back nav bar button...re-enter and search for Smartswitch install back out then open the settings app from same menu as before ... navigate to accounts and make sure there is nothing active.. if there is delete it... use the settings search bar and access Smartswitch.....
TIME FOR SECOND PHONE
on the other Android have smart switch from the playstore already installed and make sure the phone has only 1 GOOGLE account. It must be your Account that will be installed on the S20 FE... Make sure you are synced make sure its a clean reset phone no EdXposed, Magisk, or TWRP installed because its critical for the Smartswitch process...
LOG BOTH PHONES INTO SMARTSWITCH
The 2nd phone is the host and the receiver is the S20 FE
Send ONLY your GOGGLE Account AND DEVICE SETTINGS!!!! nothing more, thats all... I had no luck with OTG cable it didn't work trust me when I tell you choose the wireless method 1000% success.... once its done go to developer options and toggle usb debugging set a device pin or pattern make sure you install your Samsung account and Google account.... restore a back up from either cloud...IMPORTANT....
after the backup restores let the phone sit for about 5 seconds...lol.... factory reset from the settings menu.....when it boots back up its gonna be FRP locked AGAIN with your passcode....cheers...
And this worked on your device? I am a little bit sceptical about disabling antivirus. Suspicious
Maybe better to hide this guide, as it can be misused by thefts.

FRP means Factory Reset Protection. You can probably guess what this guide is bypassing.
Ok, so you want people to download some random file, which VirusTotal shows like a billion different antivirus apps as infected?
Then you want people to disable their Windows antivirus AND driver signature verification?
And then you want people to use winrar(known to have security problems with scripts) to open a .7z file instead of 7zip, app which created that archive in the first place?
And then your instructions tell people to open youtube? right...
If anybody reading this thinks this works, please private message me because I have an amazing business proposition for a bridge for you!

This Is Why In Japan A Phone’s Camera Shutter Sound Cannot Be Muted
You know that annoying “passht” camera shutter sound your phone makes whenever you take a picture? Well, in Japan, you can’t mute it, not even if you switch to mute mode! Here’s why.
Back in early 2000, when Kyocera VP-210 was launched, Japan became the first country to sell camera equipped phones. These phones also had the ability to send photos via email (pretty astonishing for 2000, isn’t it?). When users started to get used to them and learned how to attach pictures to an email, a big problem started to emerge: as any citizen of a civilized society would do, people started using their camera to take up-skirt photos of women, especially in crowded places like trains!
By 2001, this was already a matter of online discussion and, because no legal provision has been taken by the government, wireless carriers took it upon themselves. In order to prevent secret filming and ensure privacy, carriers made it a requirement that all phones sold in Japan must be customized for the market so that all built-in cameras cannot be muted.
Phone producers and Japanese wireless carriers have cooperated ever since so that all phones make a distinct sound whenever you use the camera.

Basically you only need to "setprop audio.camerasound.force false" and overlay to disable force sound.

while I'm not Japanese, I do find these articles somewhat annoying as they sort of paint a negative image of Japanese people in general. yeah, of course there are perverts in Japan that do this, but as many as there are Japanese perverts, there are that many if not more in other countries as well.
Do you know if this can be done to enable the mmWave on GLU0G European model?
Other question: updating firmware will not overwrite that memory block, right?

Idont think so ,These 2 versions should be different hardware scales
this partition will not flash with update package
it only record your mac addr bt addr and etc
so be careful
Yeah. It's a first world problem. When I try to take a picture of my kids while they're asleep the shutter awakens them. There are several camera apps in the store (s) that don't make the shutter sound if you're interested.
I'm thankful for the sound tbh. People at times try to record my kids on the trains( Japanese with natural blonde hair) usually I just tell them to stop and they do.
My kids aren't a tourist attraction for your amusement...

Try the Official Google Android Flash Tool (OEM Unlocking needs to be toggled on - you may not have to manually unlock the bootloader - the "site" will do that on its own). You may have to choose the option to Force Flash All Partitions, which will also wipe your phone.

I would pursue the warranty possibility ASAP, if you can. Then, if they let you RMA it, use the flash tool once more, but this time check the box for both Wipe and for Re-lock the Bootloader.
I apologize for the bad news.

I would pursue the warranty possibility ASAP, if you can. Then, if they let you RMA it, use the flash tool once more, but this time check the box for both Wipe and for Re-lock the Bootloader.
I apologize for the bad news.

Unfortunately I can't send it back even if they agree, custom fees are insane here.
Do you own a pixel 6 pro? If so, can you please send me a backup of your devinfo partition?

Right, I saw your post in the other thread. Like I said, you should stick to a single thread - now you've got three threads going about the subject.

I tried this method on my 6 pro and it's stuck in a bootloop! can anyone help me?
I tried to reinstall the stock rom again but fastboot is as far as I can get. I can't boot into fastbootd to complete the flashing process.
I still have the original devinfo.img and I don't know how to restore it using fastboot. I tried fastboot flash devinfo devinfo.img but I get file size error.
please help

This partition is record of hardware information
So I think you did something wrong while modifying this partition
You can post the information about the failure when you flash the system partition
To facilitate better analysis of the reasons
In addition, if you stay on the google logo interface all the time,
you can check whether the computer system device currently has an adb or fastboot connection to confirm where the device boot stays.
