I want to share with you a possible bug on my redmi note 8 2021. When I turn off the smartphone to charge it, the backlight remains on fixed, forcing me to press the power button a couple of times to turn it off. Does anybody have the same problem and have solved it in some way? Thank you.

Hi, my blueangel has been acting up, everytime i turn it on the start button and message buttons keep getting pressed constantly (being activated) however when i turn the backlight off, by pressing the power button for 5 secs, the problem is solved, but when i turn on the backlight it gives me the same problem..
Any ideas how i can solve this problem, since my blueangel is not in warranty.

For me it sounds like a hardware problem, but can you share with us which rom do you use ?
my rom version is PDA2k_Arabic_14000_169_11200
I too think that it might be a hardware error, however, is there any way to fix it.. ???
Hey guys, it appears that my device takes about a few seconds to wake up from sleep. Does anyone else have this problem as well? Are there any fixes to this? I know on the Wizard that I used to have, the device woke up almost immediately when pressing the power button.

Quick prob; tried searching to no avail. My backlight does not turn off anymore unless I press the power key up top after installing the cmwifirouter. I know that when running this program, the backlight does not turn off so that the program can keep running, but I think it messed with something in the registry/settings as it is set to not turn off now unless I press the button even when the app is not up. Has anyone had similar issues such as this?
Also, I tried to search on google if it was possible to run this app while the backlight is off but could not find one either. Can someone kindly point me to the right direction?
Any help is appreciated for these two concerns. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have a suggestions or tweaks?
Backlight doesnt want to go off when I leave it idle which wastes my battery when someone calls me and I miss it, the light doesnt go off. It also doesnt want to follow the settings I put in the battery settings of turning off in 10 seconds on battery power.

My power button seemed to have become very unresponsive overnight. Not sure what happened.
When clicked, the screen would not react to either switching on or off. This would continue for sometime before it starts reacting again.
Only noticed this problem today.
The phone is rooted, but no tweaks or other things done.
I would appreciate any assistance and suggestions on this. Thank you!

If it doesn't work itself out, try doing a hard reset on your phone if you can. (it may not work because you need to use the power button to do it) If its a software issue I'm sure re-flashing the firmware should fix it.

This problem exists in many ROMs, including the stock ROM(5.0.2). When I press the volume buttons while the screen is off, it usually doesn't work the first time. But it will work after I press it the second time or even multiple times immediately. It bugged me big time because I use volume buttons a lot when the screen is off. Do you have this problem? If not, could you please tell me which ROM you're using? Or does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help appreciated!
