[Q] wait for official indian launch or import?? (nexus 7 2013)

the new nexus 7 (2013) was supposed to be launched in India on 12th nov, along with the nexus 5 but it didnt. the next probable date was 16th november, again it didnt.
meanwhile the nexus 5 will start shipping within this week only (acc to snapdeal) but the playstore still shows "coming soon"
now i am getting really really impatient abt all this.
so, should i wait for the new N7 to officially launch in India or just import it via amazon??? they are charging a measly 3000rs for taxes.
but i do have some concerns-
1. what about returns and after sales service?
2. warranty? will i get the warranty AFTER the new nexus is officially launched in India?
3. do i really need to worry abt warranty? (the 1st gen N7 users might be able to answer this)

better wait for few more weeks.
most products shipped from abroad dont cover warranty! (just in case)
it seems that the official availability of the nexus 7 in India soon is quite doubtful.
abt 8000 pieces of the new nexus7 was shipped to India on 13th november and its still not available in the market (both online and offline retailers), while the shipments of nexus 5 were sent on a later date and from today many retailers are selling it. whereas its still showing "coming soon" for nexus 5 on playstore and no word abt the nexus7 availability after the rumored release date of 12th nov.
its available!

Samsung Will Sell The Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge Without Its Logo In Japan

Samsung is dialing back the visibility of its corporate brand in Japan after ditching its name from its newest smartphones there, according to The Korea Herald.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge go on sale in Japan on April 23, but customers won’t find Samsung’s logo on the devices as usual, instead they will be co-marketed with carrier partners as the ‘Docomo Galaxy’ and ‘au Galaxy’.
According to the figures from Counterpoint Research, Samsung sat in fifth place in Japan with less than five percent market share during November 2014. That’s in contrast to arch rival Apple, which captured half of all smartphone sales in the country during October and November 2014.
Rumors spiraling earlier this year suggested that the company would exit Japan after failing to make a meaningful impact in the country. Instead, it is giving its phones a shot without any direct links to the mothership — though it remains to be seen how successful that will be given the local penchant for Japanese brands and Apple’s iPhones.
I don't believe that it's a valid source,
how much will they go for?
Based on the OP's other posts, he seems to be a sneaky spammer like I used to see on blackberryforums, so I've reported as such.

Thailand - Note 7 delayed until November 30th!?! I cancelled.

Thailand.
I was so excited when I ordered my Note 7 on August 5th. I couldn't wait. Then it was delayed to September 2. I wasn't happy but I decided to wait. The night before Samsung called. It is delayed. This time indefinitely.
Note 7s are catching fire. They're being banned. But I still wait. It is now almost October and we just got the news.
For pre-order customers the Note 7 will be available around November 30th! So this is impossible. That's basically December. By then we'll be about 3 months away from the Galaxy S8. So I might as well wait.
For non pre-order people, it'll come in late December or the beginning of NEXT YEAR! ?
No. It is heartbreaking but, at this point it makes no more sense to wait. It just isn't meant to be.

Wait 3 more month and you get a choice of the note7 or the s8/edge
When the S8 comes, the Note 7 is then automatically 1 year old tech. Not worth it anymore, unless for hard-core Note users.
The delays killed the Note 7. Why would you choose a Note 7 over an S8?
I believe there won't be an S8 Edge. From next year all their flagship phones will be curved displays. Probably similar to the Note 7 screen.
I'm in Thailand also. Nov 30th for note 7 is ridiculous

I'm also in Thailand. I called the Samsung store today and they said November but didn't know what day. Have to wait for another two months!
a note is a very different from a S, if you want the newest device all the time, you might as well wait for the note 8 or s9, iphone 8, etc.,
The pre-orders will be Nov 30th normal mid Dec. It's a real mess. All the samsung stores here have big posters for the note 7 and cases and chargers but no phones for over 2 months.

yes, but different fumctionalities
I've been calling Samsung Thailand for the last several weeks trying to return the Note 7 I got in England. All they say is they'll call back and tell me what to do. Perhaps once they have the phones in stock...

LG V30 will be in the market starting October's 1st-7th

As I was told by the largest branch in Dubai. Probably a global release in October as well to all regions?
I have put my name in case they start reservations anytime this weekend. I will keep this post updated once more information are available.
If it appears in U.S. carrier stores on October 10, LG will be rolling out the LG V30 at the same pace as the LG G6.
Any later, then a slower pace, as measured by days since the global announcement on August 31.
* October 10 for U.S. carriers.
* November 14 for U.S. unlocked US998.
* December 31 for bootloader unlock on the U.S.and European carrier unlocked versions (US998 and H930).
I hope the BEAT those dates, but that's what I extrapolated from the LG G6 pace after the LG G6 global announcement.
Of course, no official announcements yet as of this post on September 27.
Last half of October (they said late) according to the folks down at my local T-mo store.
