that this new version of Magisk is more than just an update. Before you update or even upgrade, read the important documentation about Zygisk and the Denylist.

for android 9 yes
you should unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery then root the phone with magisk, install edxposed manager apk and from magisk install Riru (riru core) and install riru - edxposed and you are good
not for Android 10?

all the roms i tested so far (about 20) are based on android10 and i install xposed no problem
if you are not sure of an information = don't answer

just keep in mind that the methode changed from the old 4.4.4 apk ...
this is how it work now :
unlock bootloader
install twrp
flash magisk
boot into rom
open magisk manager and go module
install riru core and riru EDxposed
reboot
install EDxposed manager apk
done

Hit update to v.22.1 button but update Magisk Manager fail saying "There are problem parsing the package"
How I can correct this so that I'm able to "Hide Magisk" in proper ways that banking apps cannot detect ?
I seems cannot afford upgrade my MIUI nor Android 9 as I'm so frighten to the hassle.

Heya all,
Today my OnePlus 9 Pro asked me to update from Oxygen OS 11.2.10.10.LE15BA to LE2123_11_C.44_202201182111.
Ive got Magisk version 23.0 installed.
I've tried to update it the standard way, downloading and installing the OTA, then updating Magisk after OTA and rebooting to the inactive slot.
The phone booted up again but the system popped up a message saying that the system was not updated.
I'm happy I haven't bricked it but I'm asking how could I upgrade the system keeping or reinstalling Magisk for root.
I use Magisk just for a couple of tools, do i also need to remove these before?

You need the alpha build if magisk installed. You can find it in root thread or it's this on here
I did this and it worked perfectly:
I uninstalled magisk completely
I ran the fastboot boot magisk_boot.img of 11.2.10.10,
at first boot install the latest version of magisk Canary and click on install directly
then I updated the phone locally, when it tells you reboot go to magisk and do install on idle slot and it's gone

Ive tried to follow these steps but I found that now Magisk app can't check the root properly, also after rebooting.
I think I'll need to starts over rooting the phone.
