It works normally for me, let check background data traffic in settings/application&sync ?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
You'll probably find it is set up to high and is killing the background services hence no notifications.
You may have to play with the settings a bit.
I personally don't use any memory management scripts.
I found them to cause more bad than good. but each to there own. There are a few threads about setting up supercharger. Maybe try looking them up.
Pvy.
Hi, I have little problem. I see my facebook messenger has no popup notifiactions. I must go to app and than I see messages. I think yesterday it worked but today nothing.
It might be a problem with the app itself or with the service. I'm using kernel + ROM with Supercharger script and Fb chat and it's normal messenger are working fine for me.

Slow charging afther updateing nova luncher

hi im using htc one x custom rom showthread.php?t=2257913 so yestarday i saw that there is a nova luncher update i update my phone and the problems start drains more power and its charging very very slow ( sorry for my bad english ) any one can help or suggest something
edit... i think i fix it D: uninstall the update and now is charging ok i think D:
edit 2 .. new problem D: i think my CPU is the problem to drain more battery becouse my phone is getting hotter under the cam when im just bugging something ( not playing no music nothing just custom, nova luncher or reading sms etc, the thinks that are not suppose to drain so much power : ( )
Nova launcher can't slow down your charging... make sure your using original htc cable + charger...
Phone getting hot while using fb/msg is common...
It is possible nova is draining more battery especially if there was just an update. Try another free launcher like apex and see what happens. You don't need to uninstall nova, just install apex and see what happens. If your battery drain continues, go to the play store and grab an app like gsam to pinpoint what is draining your battery. If it's running slow, you can get an app like system panel, again from play store, and that will tell you what is Hoggin your CPU resources.

Uninstall Harmful App

Hi all.
When i opened my phone today i have noticed one Warrning like:
"Uninstall Harmfull app: "Theme Center" can damage your device".
After this message Theme Center icon has dissapeared from my drawer.
I have searched the app an i have found that is desabled.
I dont have the phone rooted, i have not changed the original firmware. The phone is still stock.
Anyone has the same thing as me ?
Was it an android notification or an anti virus notification???
If it was an antivirus notification then uninstall it and reinstall it again.Scan the device and all will be done.
If it was an android notification search for the app in settings>apps>all apps and then uninstall it.If not found then go to google play store>my apps and games>installed if you find the app there, uninstall it from there.....
Best of luck

Hi. Thanks for your answer.
It was an system warning. The antivirus did nothing.
The app is Theme center. It is an system app.
So... What i did was: enabled the app and monitored her activities... Nothing yet...
I have Avast antivirus installed. Still waiting...
Ill let you know if something is going on.
Send from my Lenovo P1 Vibe Pro with 3 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of Internal Storage.

Nexus 5X Google Apps Issue

Hey , it would be really helpful if someone could help me out with this issue ,
I'm having a Nexus 5X 32gb running Android 7.1.1 .
Since the update I'm having problems with certain apps specifically Google apps like the dialler , Gmail , Google Keep , Calender .
When I open the app it says the app has stopped and gives the option of starting the app again and send feedback.
Also the apps like Google play store and Google play services stop suddenly and show the same message.
It's very frustrating , a response would really be helpful.

Hi, I may be able to give you a reason why this could be happening. With older devices sometimes updates may end up doing more harm than good performance wise since theyre designed for the latest devices with the best processors, and we nexus people are an afterthought. I talked with google today and they basically told me that if I wanted to restore to a previous OS, like 6.0 I would need to use this link https://developers.google.com/android/images
And from there go back to the previous OS. Other than that you can try freeing up memory and RAM. Deleting things you dont use, and rebooting the device.
