Does anyone have a T-mobile account? I need his help to check the IMEI in the account - OnePlus Nord N100 Questions & Answers

I don't have a T-Mobile account. The Nord N100 I purchased has a network lock. Error Code 255 was generated during unlocking. I want to know what the hell is going on. The T-Mobile account can check the IMEI of this phone and tell me what happened to this phone.
If the phone owes a small amount, I'm willing to pay to unlock it.
Anyone willing to help me?

What is it you want to check?

Need Help Too Many unsurccesful unlock attempts.

I have a dilemma. I sent my T-Mobile Dash to my brother in El Salvador. Its locked to T-Mobile USA. I called T-Mobile for unlock code and they gave me the code but my brother took it to the local market over there to unlock already and they did too many unsuccessful unlock attempts already and now its not even accepting the unlock code from T-Mobile. I cant send the phone to T-Mobile because its not here. He already tried hard resetting the phone and still not accepting the code and asking to contact Support of T-Mobile. I need desperate help. Is there any way of reversing the attempts by restoring the ROM or anything. Any help from you experts will be helpful. I have learnt a lot from this forum and I really think this situation may have happened to somebody else too so please help.

From what I've read on the T-Mobile USA website, you'll have to contact their tech support center (Customer Care). The phone is permanently locked now--that is, until T-Mobile unlocks it themselves.
I'll call the tech support and see what they say. I think they will ask me to send the phone to them. But I cant. There must be some way to reverse the unlock attempts.

You should try to call. They may not require you to send it in. There might be a signal they can send to your phone. Just try it before you assume the worst.
why u dont contact jockyw2001 ?? he can provide a more affordable solution

Question actually applies to T-Mobile as well.
Is there a way for an IMEI number to be check to see if it is currently active in their system?
I was in live chat with a T-Mobile representative for over an hour who said they have no way to see if an IMEI number is active in their system unless they are looking at a specific account. She also said that my IMEI number for my stolen Galaxy Nexus was never even listed in my account (I called and updated it a few days after buying it). After going back and fourth and her constantly contradicting herself over and over, she finally said "oh, my mistake, your IMEI number was in your account.....I was looking at the other number....guess that will be all, thank you for choosing T-Mobile" and disconnected while I was typing.
Anyway, sorry, angry rant.
I was told by the police officer to contact T-Mobile and inform them my phone was stolen and provide the IMEI number. This way, if someone else activates the phone with the IMEI number, I could find out. I would not be allowed to get access to account information, obviously, but I could inform the detective and T-Mobile could be issued a subpena for that account information.
Then, I'm being told by this lady that she cannot see any IMEI numbers unless she's looking at a specific account and it's not possible to search IMEI numbers.
So, yeah, that's my question.
For anyone that works for AT&T or T-Mobile, is it possible to know when an IMEI number is active in your network?
Man that sucks... I hate stupid people.... unfortunately just about everybody we buy phones from is a retard. Hope you find your phone or reach an amount of donations to buy an new one.

The lady was telling you the truth about looking up a IMEI number. I am a RSA with T-Mobile and in the store level as well as Customer Care level we can not just pull a tool up and check to see if a IMEI number is active on the system. We can check and see if a IMEI number is blocked from the network. Which I do all the time when a phone has trouble connecting to the network. This way I know if the phone was blocked or not. Now i am not sure if Tech Support can find this information or not but Care and the Store level can not find this info. Also when a Rep goes into someone account they do not see the whole IMEI number. The last number from the IMEI number is not displayed for us to see. Also since the GN is not a phone sold by T-Mobile the system does not display the name of the phone. We use a system called Quickview which gives us all the Customers info for their account. Under your number it only displays the model number of the phone since that is what is sent to T-Mobile's tower and displayed on the account. When you have a phone that T-Mobile sells the model number is not shown but the name of the phone is shown instead. If there is anything else you want to know just ask i am would be more then happy to help if I can.
Now when it comes to a SIM card yes i can tell you if that is active on the system or not. I can search for someones account with a SIM card.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. I was at work so I could not respond sooner.
I called Technical Support this morning and detailed everything to them. The lady gave me a number to the T-Mobile Legal Department and she advised me to provide the detective with the number. She said due to FCC regulations, she could not discuss with me anything related to IMEI numbers. She seemed to hint that the IMEI number was currently in use, at least that's the way I took it.
I spoke with my friend who works for the police department and he said unless it gets pawned I pretty much won't see it again though. So, basically, the police department is no going to bother checking to see if someone is using it.
Since FCC rules prohibit me from getting any information regarding who is using my phone now, and the police won't do it, I'm pretty much at a dead end.
Can you get your carrier to block the IMEI as reported stolen? At least that way the thief doesn't get to use the phone fully? Maybe call both AT&T and T-Mobile to report it stolen and possibly used on their networks.

(Refurbished) DInc2 - unlock SIM?

Hey guys,
I've been trying for a while to unlock my Verizon Incredible 2's SIM. It's a refurbished phone, so the IMEI shown on the phone's software and on the sticker behind the battery produces an invalid unlock code when I try to buy a code online. I no longer have Verizon's service, so I can't even ask them for the correct unlock code. Is there any software out there that can find the correct code for my phone?

Thanks for your help, but I don't think that trying to generate yet another unlock code from that IMEI will help. I've tried this before and was always given the same code that was invalid.

Maybe those codes are getting wrong or they aren't doing their proper job to get it. I sent you a PM, so, if you wanna try it just let me know.

[Q] can I use my lgg2 (ls980) sprint with another carrier if:

The device is paid off so finally mine, I don't have any contract with sprint, so I called them to unlock my phone and they gave me my msl# (#!$#%) and they told me that is the code that I need and the other carrier should know how to use this code to activate the phone.... is that true?
I thought I can just connect a sim card and call the carrier and change the imei number
Anyone with any help will be appreciated

A3 SIM Unlock

Hi
I got my A3 yesterday. I managed to root it (it's a must for me) otherwise I didnt do anything else, its working fine. My problem is that it was a gift, my friend bought it at his carrier (telenor, hungary) and im at a different carrier. When I put in the SIM, it asks for some network code. Google says that there are websites that gives me the code in exchange for some money and my IMEI number. No thanx.
Is there any free solution I can do?
You can only get the unlocked code from the original carrier

I'm starting to realize that. Theres just no way I'm paying any money for it. My company have contract with both carrier, I can change it free, but it's a hassle. Thats what I wanted to avoid. Guess theres no other way.
If it is a Carrier Lock then you have to contact the carrier. If it is a regional lock you have to contact Samsung directly.
There are boxes that can sim unlock. See what your local backstreet phone store can do.
