First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (Los recovery or TWRP)
Based on Lineage OS, be sure to be on the required firmware version
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & format data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

I installed microG (latest Version) via Magisk and after that i try to flash the 'NanoDroid-patcher' to activate signature spoofing via TWRP. The flash process aborts with the message that signature spoofing is already installed. Reboot. I can't activate the 'System spoofs signature' in microG!
Any ideas what can i do?

No I don't think so , these are developers not noobs like us lol , they will always improve something
Well in this case "reloaded" means, that the rom has been rebased completely on lineage so that all the security patches are updated. For you it means you have the June 2021 security patch instead of July 2018 (if there was a build with the latest official source).
Edit:
Just looked it up, the other crdroid build was updated in August 2017, so that is likely also the builds security patch.

Since there were too much problems with Magisk I decided to remove it from this ROM, for now.

I either get I/O error when installing the driver, or the app claims it can't get root (the latter is the case on this ROM). I mention this here is case someone has any ideas, or has been able to install Viper. The sound is much better with it.
I use Llama Kernel for the Mashmallow version of this ROM.
For this ROM I'll first stay at CM-Kernel, maybe later I'll add a second one.

This is because viper is note supported officially on nougat. But There is a way:

Just a small bug i found is disabling hardware buttons doesn't disables home button key.
On the latest version after turning on device encryption functionality and setting up boot password on, it stucks on infinite booting animation and never boots up again.

Do three button and disable.
Rom have a blur bug. Open one app and press menu button; first time, blur don't work.

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)

Is it suitable with Rename, Mystique, and Panda Kernel? I asked because according to Franco Kernel Manager there is no sound option to increase earphone volume in stock rom kernel.

hello, how is the performance of this ROM? Do you have any BUT?
1) Does this pass SafetyNet?
2) Does this have the same features as CrDroid v8.7?

Very impressed by the fact that you still provide the last security updates for the CrDroid 7 (A11) rom, I installer this more recent CrDroid 8 (A12) rom on my second daisy (A13 version is still a but young for my usage). I hope I won't encounter any issue and in such case that you will maintain it as well as the previous version (3 security updates/year is fine)
PS: Unfortunately I have a significant issue with the Voltage OS A13 rom (see dedicated topic) and no solution yet which is the reason why I started looking elsewhere...
Edit: no play store with NikGapps-core-arm64-12.1-20220905-signed following the installation instructions, nor magisk. I had to reinstall the last version. I think the installation instruction are false, you need to reboot to recovery after twrp flash to install magisk and the gapps properly.
Edit2: play store won't connect: "no internet connection" but I am connected via wifi...
Edit3: after a new proper install (reboot to recovery after twrp flash and magisk install AFTER gapps, not in inverse order in queue) everything seems ok

● Do I still need to flash the firmware MIUI 13.0.5 even if im using V13.0.5.0.SGICNXM EU?
● Am I still able to go back to EU Stable Rom without problems if I ever decide to revert changes?

I would flash the recommended firmware (it's extracted from the CN ROM) and yes, you can go back to the EU ROM or another when you want - but doing a clean flash.

You have to flash GApps (Google Apps) zip recovery after the ROM zip. Read the guide again from the main post and make a clean flash.
New update with Android 13 QPR2 merged is out. I did a dirty flash and it's fine but I would recommend going clean to avoid issues.

I just updated the crdroid to latest version on OTA update. However after the update pixel launcher started failing when I use the search bar and recent applications section. I tried reinstalling gapps additionally but ut didn't work. Is there any known fix for that ?

crdroid v9.3 can't use fast charge,only 10w.

I can login Google account, but can't use Google Play Store after installing NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20230410-signed.zip. I can make sure there is no problem with my internet access. I'm using CrDroid 9.3. Is there any known fix for that ?

Try rebooting, or check if Play Store has internet permissions.
