We are very excited to announce the alpha of Paranoid Android Sapphire, based on Android 12.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

I haven't tried it yet, but thanks.

thanks for the work,
found a serious issue:
if switched to button navigator, the whole system will crash and require factory reset to re-enter the system

Thank you for the work done!
I found that when installing navigation using three buttons, the phone goes out (reboot on the screensaver).

Flush in successfully, but cannot enter recovery mode. What should I do for the next update?is there a recovery support for A12?

Thanks a lot for this build, this build seems problem in Face Unlock system, how to fix it? thank you

The navbar bug is real. I'm using a workaround, I've installed this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nu.nav.bar&hl=it&gl=US
But I can't still remove gestures, so an update with navbar fix would be good since after setting 3-button navigation there was no way to avoid system factory reset

这个版本我刷入了两次,结果都没有人脸解锁,请问是这个rom里面没有吗

是的,开发者还没增加人脸解锁功能

I just installed it, everything was fine at first and im really happy for this first build, but it suddenly change when i realize that the fast charging isn't working, i usually get araoun 2000 - 2400 mA before, but now? It wont event get more than 400 mA, i hope this can be fix in the next update, that would be awesome

Also, i cannot install anything via twrp (for example magisk) after successfully install this rom because the twrp didnt ask for password I've set to decrypting storage, can anyone help me to fix this issue?

You can use the adb command in TWRP, adb pull xxxx.zip /data, and then install it in TWRP. You need some Linux commands

Thank you for the work out
I found that some apps can't load fingerprint yet,it says TEE error (deviceid=null)

thanks.

Your download link seems to have expired, can you provide a new download link?

When is a new update coming out? i have been using this rom for a while now and i must say that i think its the best so far for the Mi 8 Pro. The only problem it has is when you try installing some apps, they dont work as they see your phone as a rooted phone. for example coincola app. Can this be fixed?

Facial unlock
Hi,
The rom is very smooth, everything works very well on my Mi8pro. Just a question. With miui the facial unlock worked even if there was no light in the ambient. Now it doesn't work in that condition.
Is there something i could do?
Thanks a lot for your work!!!

very cool that they did support for mi 8 pro. this will make your firmware practically the only one that users of this gadget will install. now on the firmware market for mi 8 pro in Russia there is only miui firmware and the like. but the problem is that the mi 8 pro does not have normal twrp support. I've been looking for a working twrp on the forums for over a week. I like the firmware, even in spite of some lags, which are rare. mainly related to stability. If I were you, I would have embedded gcam into the firmware, since this is the only normal camera that can give good work to photo modules. in general you are great, keep it up, if the updates are stable, you can make a paid upgrade. even $ 1-2 will help you support the project. the main thing is that there is always a free version to try !!

Im on pbrp and installed it and ended in fastboot loop. Had to flash global rom and twrp to install it properly. Also the cam on this rom is camera go 2.

when i flash a new rom if i end up in a bootloop and get that encryption bug. What I do is pick the 3rd option that completely wipes your system (with everything backed up to my sd card) then try installing the rom. when you finish flashing it reboot back into recovery again and flash it again. also make sure pretty much everything but cache/dalvik and data and not mounted.
took me a bit of trial and error and I have no clue why but ive been flashing roms this way without fail since i installed pbrb3 recovery. Aospa, RR, evolution and another one that i found on androidfilehost lol.
ooof randomly reboots while using.
EDIT: rebooted for a 2nd time

We are very excited to announce Paranoid Android Topaz, based on Android 13.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with beautiful wallpapers from Hampus
Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus
is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him
onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user
experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the
Abstruct app from the PlayStore.
Our builds are based on the Code Linaro Organization Android base, which is optimized for
Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality
compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and
contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving
features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with
the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and
features to help you get the most out of your device.

Is this really for Redmi 8 (olive)? How can one ROM work for Redmi 7A and Redmi 8 at the same time?
Does it have no bugs? This is really out of nowhere!
Hi , Thanks for your share.
Its my first time I'm going to flash my old redmi 8,
I checked the phone kernel version,
kernel = 4.9.193-pref-g743cb02
its that ok to flash your new custom Rom?
bootlooder is unlocked and phone is ready to flash.
the current rom on phone is the latest official rom.
Thanks

Yup it should work, just follow the tutorial carefully
I tried 2 roms with android 12.1 and both have a battery drain and heat on normal usage. So is this rom different? Because its android 13
Redmi 8 64/4gb
Currently I'm using havoc os (11)
(Sorry for my bad spilling)
Topaz 2 is up.
Simple Changelog:
* May SPL Merged
* Black Theme Merged
* Some Optimizations
WiFi or internet doesn't work on Redmi 7A, sadly. No internet access but it is connected to WiFi and Data.
After installing the ROM my touch screen is not working. It still works in TWRP but it doesn’t work when the ROM is booted. Device is Redmi 8A.
