This list is just info for those who want to try the A12 (A12L).
A12 is just cosmetics, everything important already includes A11 (we are talking about GSI of course).
On some mentioned ROMs RIL doesn't work correctly with selinux permissive, plus some other bugs:
Corvus:

Reverted back to my lovely 8.0.0.166 with SuperSu root .
I wish A11,A12 fans a lot of fun and success!

Does anyone here uses A12 (LineageOS 19.0, LineageOS 19.1)? I currently use @AndyYan 's LineageOS 19.1 and mostly it works quite smoothly. I like the cosmetics of A12, the animations are way smother than on previous versions. Also no new lag or crashes. It feels like the battery last less time (but it is possible that I use my phone more this days).
There are two problems that I face with it. The first one was during first boot Andoid asks to enter PIN. If you enter it you run into loop and have to reset the phone. The solution is to skip the phone security part (PIN, pattern, ...) and do that later. The other is with bluetooth. It finds other devices and other devices sees the phone. But pairing always fails. Does enybody have the same problem (and has found the solution)?

No, not yet- Looks great. I have to try it someday, right now I do not have time to reset my phone. Waiting for vacations

Since i had unresolved issues with A12 and bluetooth I gave up and tried dotOS a try. Well it looks and feels great. I noticed the phone was always hot and it loosed 20% of battery every hour. I did not use the phone at all, only to check the clock every now and then. Now I am back on CAOS11 and hope everything will work.

No time was wasted. It is a beautiful rom with unique design features. I would have never had heard about it if it wasn't for your recommendation. Too bad my phone started to overheat and used so much battery while doing nothing. I wonder what was the issue. It is possible to be related with battery management as you have already noticed. Perhaps I will try it later someday.
As for A12 I hope somebody will find the fix for our bluetooth issues.

Lineage 19.1 is a nice rom, but I tested it and PE and the same bug was found: The cam doesn't work when opened by other appsLineage 19.1 é uma bela rom, porém testei ela e a PE e o mesmo bug foi constatado: A cam não funciona quando é aberta por outros apps

It is AOSP based compared to LOS (CM) which the majority of the ROMs posted are.
DU is a great ROM. I found that it lacked some important features that I like, but a very solid ROM.
Yes i tried on Sprint but there was no data...even after entering the apn in

Encryption was not working, even with a full data format prior to flashing.
Any other opinions?
I have been running the weekly and official builds with nebula eas kernel for about 5 weeks or so. I personally feel its the best non-sense based ROM for my usage. It does lack some customisations most others have but makes up for it by being super stable, fast, battery friendly and just works as its supposed to with bull. I use superSU, substratum and A.R.I.S.E audio mod with selinux permissive without dramas.

It comes WITHOUT root. So you can choose your preffered method or no root at all.
I don't know about safetynet as I am not using android pay or anything that relies on it to pass.
Also I have not had any encryption issues as someone earlier replied

I've tried several combinations, with older/latest firmware.
Every time, It would ask for the encryption password on bootup.
Even if I haven't set one up.. With data format prior to installing
Anyway, got sick of re-setting apps on my phone, just installed Maximus HD ROM, and that's that ?

I think it was the DU team's decision to close all and not allow any XDA threads. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
No idea why though.

Everytime I try that rom..it encrypts itself with an unknown password, and upon restart I'm unable to access my phone

I have had that happen when switching from a sense based ROM to LOS or AOSP and it's a "pita"... Anything that I want to keep gets moved to my SD card before I reboot to recovery.
I read through several threads and tried several possible solutions so I can't remember exactly which one worked.
I am currently on Verizon, official Nougat with the flashed us unlocked "patch", TWRP 3.1.0-1. If you are on Verizon or Sprint you need to patch the image with a missing image that is found in the us unlocked model (there are threads discussing it where you can find the file).

There is a DU Oreo-based build for the HTC 10: https://download.dirtyunicorns.com/?device=pme
For the time being it is under "RC". Downloading now, will report back!
Edit: ROM is very nice and is flying by. Only downside is that camera app is VERY slow... Also, woofer is not working (as expected).
What I like the most is that it is AOSP, i.e. no LineageOS stuff like AudioFX, etc. Customisation features are nice and the experience is close to Pixel with Stock OpenGapps. If the camera app is fixed, then this would be perfect (I believe it will, since this is the first RC release)!
Further notes: Capacitive buttons backlight is off by default (can't find any standard option to turn on, maybe with a kernel tool?) and notification LED does not work either. Don't mind for the capacitive buttons too much, but the LED is a real problem.

Best Custom Oreo Combo Experience

Well here I am just giving muy very own personal opinión on the Best Custom Experience I have with Oreo 810 cuz roms and apps.....list is as follows:
TWRP 3210 Advanced Wipe and Select everything except of course External Sd Card...erease everything including internal Storage..we want dead that also....then select FORMAT DATA...to make sure everything is gone....
install Lineage 15.1 July Build.
OpenGapps 810 64 bits nano.
Restart and Initiate Oreo basic setup.
Install Magisk Manager APK restart to Recovery.
Install Magisk 16 Stable restart into Oreo make sure Magisk Manager does recognize Magisk 16.
Click on Vaerify Safety Net click on dowload script and validaty...it will give fail...restart to recovery.
Flash universal-safetynet-fix-v2-beta-5-magisk-v14.zip this is the one FUNCTIONING 100% TESTED BY MYSELF....restart into Oreo now.
Now if you do have corruptable App like titanium Backup install those apps and run any Backup.
Finally flash Alizee Kernel v14 for Non Treble.
For camera I have Arnova Mod test any u want works for me v6 latest Stable.
Below you can attachements as proof. Thanks!
My Oreo working Flash Perfect no Issues.
nice guide! Just wondering if the vendor image message still pops up? This usually happens after flashing the safetynet fix. I know it doesn't do anything and everything still works fine. But, for some reason it always bothered me with lineage os because, it never happend on other roms.
Yes bro it happens keep giving that vendor image error message but as you said already its fine not giving any issues at all.

Weird that it doesn't happen on other roms. Lineage seems to be the only rom having issues with magisk and safety net. Atleast it works fine even with that message. But it still bothers me for some reason. But i'm gonna save this guide because, I might need it someday

hi guys
do you think once official oreo will be released we will have more improvements on 8.1 roms? to which degree?
i waited to update until now, seeing a lot of concerns about camera and various random bugs, (been flashing lot of nasty roms quite happily, but now i feel just a tad more prudent )

As Motorola will most probably release the kernel sources/source code for our device short after the Oreo OTA it will help the developers a lot to fix all this device related bugs. So yes, it makes sense to wait for it.

Development [ROM][13][ENCRYPTION] Official LineageOS 20 for A72

Link to original thread: A52 4G forum
Updated to Lineage 19.0!
Hey man! Everything is working great as far as I can see right now. Only one big drawback is the fingerprint scanner not working on Galaxy A72. It's not that it's registered and then it's failing. You can't even register it sadly.
Any fixes soon? Or is there a workaround which I am supposed to do, that I don't know about?
Thanks!

There are some suggestions.
Google Camera does not start, crashes. On GSI it helped to turn on the vendor Q.
In the screen settings, can you add a graph of picture saturation settings?
And is it possible to add a system backup to Lineage Recovery?

Of course it's a pity lineage recovery won't have a backup function, it's inconvenient to flash twrp every time.
And the colour saturation setting as on oneui is missing. I don't understand why you chose LOs, there's nothing in it at all, you can't even choose colours in styles. I was sitting on GSI 12A CrDroid before your firmware, great firmware in terms of customization. Never used google services. Never used google services.
Unfortunately when upgrading to GSI v402 the phone is extremely hard to start. About 8 times on reboot out of 10, 8 times caught bootloop. And this is on any v402 firmware.
In any case your firmware is better, even without having to patch separately the boot for magisk in order to run it on 12A GSI

Ok this was posted in haste and a bit in irritation what I meant is simply this is not useable as stable rom,
Its unstable and has issues. This is not meant as a revieuw or judgement of said rom. Its the first and currently only one avalible and kudo's to the creator. Its listed as development. Its just a quick feedback for those like me that just like to know if its stable or not.

Would you mind telling me about the issues you experienced?
From my point of view (and from what others told me) it runs pretty stable and mostly bugless on both A52 and A72.
I have it running for weeks now as second device. Only real issue is fingerprint sensor and camera, could not find any gcam mod that would work properly. Apart for it - runs stable.

Sorry Muyst have missed this,
Also edited initial post cause it was imho blunt and to negative. Sorry about that I have nothing but respect for mod creators.
I din't extensivly test but:
Vingerprint reader but this was known.
I had some screen issues (swiping up from bottem wouln't work so couln't close apps.
pixel launcher kept crashing (yes this might not be rom related but nova launcher also had issues)
General instability possibly all related to screen.
There where some other issues but as said my intention was not to extensivly screen it the above combined with the other small issues made me decide to remove it again.
I was using lineage os 19 in my Samsung Galaxy A72. It's better than pixel plus ui rom. It has 90hz screen refresh rate. But this rom has the following bugs also:
1. Proximity sensor not working at all;
2.Fingerprint or face unlock not working;
3. No safety net pass.

Best AOSP 12 rom for normal using?

Hi, i want to know your opinion about best roms with android 12 for redmi note 8 pro. Clean rom with google apps.
I had POSP rom testing it's seems good but i missed few importand options like 3 fingers to ss.
I tried Pixel Experience rom ass well but that was terrifying, phone cannot take a screenshot, no face id option or even fingerprint scanner.
Spark-Os i think is best os i used, but dont have face id unlocking option.

You can flash to PE 12 directly from miui 12.5,
FYI, I installed the updated PE 12 and the devs have fixed major bugs but still i found
1. Netflix widevine issue(plays video in SDquality), No issues in prime video
2. Bluetooth range issues after 2 days
( i did ADB sideload, it worked perfectly, remember to wipe and format as mentioned in flashing instrcutions)
their recent update fixed screenshot issues, Unlimited google photos backup (check the changelog for more info)
Personally I wouldnt suggest you to go for Pixel A12 now, cuz the devs mentioned they are using MIUI 12.5 kernel and it has battery drain issue. Wait for the PE A12 plus which i hope might be better and much stable. I heard they scheduled PE plus A12 next month, not sure though!

I know what GSI is. I want to know what is currently doesn't work in this particular device, that's why I asked on two different thread because they are two different devices.

I see. I saw the D2TW issue is stale on PHH's repo.
Thanks for the info!

Your question is too general, specify for example, Pixel or LOS, A12 or A13, because some have no bugs.

Hi, I tested a lot of gsi's, since there were no custom roms until August 21... They work ok. Battery is better than stock and most of them (crdroid, los, pe, arrow) are more snappy. As written above, the bugs are dt2w and fingerprint sensor, but the most annoying bug is a soundbug, that appears, when using teams or whattsapp. The sound then has some kind of mickeymouse filter. It's high and distorted... And itbwas told many times, that it's solved, but it never was. No matter which base I used. Now I use PA and it's the first time O like this phone...

I do not install and will never install GSI roms (too risky).
Here some GSI roms. (prefer A12).

We might be able to fix the sound distorsion by looking through PRs and Issues on phhusson's GSI repo. My last device has this bug too but managed to fix it by modifying some values in build.prop, then the changes ware merged to master.

Ah that's interesting. But I guess, PA will be stable very soon and then I think, that many roms will appear with that sources.
