CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. Go to /system/etc/ via a Root browser and replace your audio_policy.conf with this file - audio_policy.conf and set the permissions r-w-r-r.Reboot and see if bluetooth works or not.

Still same issue with latest build, Mi Bluetooth Speaker not connecting :crying:

Concerned about dynamic gapps
In Redmi 1s anything except open gapps Pico gives error while flashing as bigger files can't be flashed.. are you sure dynamic gapps would work as the mini version is about 210 mb??

not rooted and stuck on boot logo after flashed root file.

Bean gapps mini work fine.

ROM is smooth, but USB charging is very slow, Can we have fast charge on USB, as right now no custom kernel is available for android 7.1.2

What is Omnirom?
A new Android custom rom was announced at the BABBQ (Big Android BBQ) in late 2013 by @XpLoDWilD, @Chainfire, @Dees_Troy & Team.
"The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. "
Installation instructions
Backup your data and your current ROM.
(install any other 7.x ROM.)
Reboot to the custom recovery.
Wipe /data in f2fs, and then wipe /system and /cache.
Install the ROM zip. it may fail and let you know it's repartitioning. If that's the case, install it a second time.
Reboot.
Wait for about 15 minutes.

I probably won't provide any further updates to this ROM, mainly because my computer takes ages to compile (with only 4GB of RAM). Moreoever, my interest shifted towards other projects such as postmarketOS.
In fact, I didn't work on this ROM during the last month or so. That's why the build I uploaded dates back to June.
All my sources are uploaded. So, everyone is welcome to make improvements and share new builds in this thread!

Gapps
Gapps are not recommended as they make the device much slower. However, if you really need them, you can use microg instead.
microg installation instructions.
Root instructions
Replace the ramdisk.img in the ROM zip with the one attached below. It contains Magisk v14.0 and it is taken from (°_o)'s ROM (thanks @(°_o) )
Then, you have to install the latest MagiskManager apk from https://github.com/topjohnwu/MagiskManager/releases

It is supported by the kernel but you have to install the app separately.

Hey, thanks a ton I could not find an actual working apk anywhere. You should add it into your Rom because wouldnt you think anybody whose using the S1 is really using it for the dac?

Well, it's not my ROM, @MYEUHD made it
And no, believe it or not I still use my S1 as my day-to-day phone - although only for texting and music. Partly because I don't need anything more, partly because there are no small phones (<5") around any more. I've tried a couple of 5" phones but they're not as convenient to carry around plus you can't cover the full screen with one handed use. The Palm phone looked interesting, until I found out it was a Verizon exclusive not available where I live.

me too was looking for a compact-not-looking-pan model to replace my glorious i9000. I found out that the A3 2017 was closer enough to its size and I'm quite satisfied. Now the only problem I see is that it lacks the same support from the xda community of modders, so I would be glad if you bought this model :^)

Hello after installing this rom I can not go back to the previous 6.0.1 error in the installation. I restored from the factory and still the problem persists. Any solution.

Random reboots? Please upload last_kmsg immediately after the kernel crash.
Note: I will only be providing builds once every month and when new security patches come in. I don't have enough time to be making them every week. These builds should be daily driver friendly and have nothing changed or added and they should be pure lineage based builds. Please download the latest version of OpenGapps and flash along with the ROM to be able to use the play store and other google related services. Hey sorry my apologies I set it to 480 DPI in build prop by default because I like the bigger display rather than the tiny display elements. You can flash this zip here along with the ROM and it will return your nexus 9 to the stock 320 DPI instead of the bigger one which was 480 DPI. Do a full wipe of the rom again and then flash the zip with the fix and you should be good to go

It will work but you will lose cell network service and LTE you will only be able to use wifi

Tried to install this build yesterday and failed to do so. Whenever I try to install it installs successfully and when i reboot to system, google logo will appear and nothing happens. Using latest version of opengapps7.1arm64. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You have to flash latest stock rom with fastboot or you can flash the n9f27m vendor separately it won't boot because your vendor is the wrong version if you need help with flashing vendors please pm me

1.Extract Pixel Experience file to your internal storage or sd card (make sure you Extract the pixel Experience to same directory as Chondoe Flasher) And Rename pixel Experience to system.img
2.Boot To TWRP
3.Backup your data (if you don't want to backup you can skip this)
4.Flash Chondoe Flasher
5.Flash Prish Kernel
6.Format Data (Before do this please make sure you doesn't screw up your IMPORTANT FILES because I just rush and I forgot that my classwork is on documents folder and it gone. Just don't want you to have a moment like this)

I think Pixel Experience is great and have a lot of feature but if you want more feature I suggest PixelPlusUI

First of all
SafetyNet is FAILED but You Can Install Fix for this
And I use Galaxy M31 (SM-M315F)
I have found a little problem about Pixel Experience when I use is The Play Store is keepings Reset itself (The new Play Store UI With all menu in Account Part) It will be the main problem if you use Root Version Of YouTube Vanced And You need to enable Always On Display in phh treble settings to fix overlay
That's all of the problem I have (if you have other phone you can add me as your friend in discord because It very quick to chat if you have booting problem)

We all know that debloating was not made easy since Android 8 until now especially for new users with zero experience so i made this rom for you.
My main focus is to maintain the simplicity, stability and battery life without torturing/adding useless stuff to this beautiful rom.
No fancy modification and only few tweaks added hence the name debloated, leaving only some miui core app for the system to work normally as a daily driver.
What you see in Xiaomi.eu rom/Global rom you will see it here so dont be dissapointed. I keep it as STOCK GLOBAL/Xiaomi.eu and MINIMAL as possible.

#Some removed miui/google apps can easily be downloaded inside the Playstore.
Only for ginkgo user, contain firmware do not flash if you got willow!

Reupload link because previous link lead to my unmodified rom. Too many people asked for mirror and reupload before because gdrive limiting the download till i forgot which and which link that ive uploaded. No wonder why people still find it so laggy. Ive just had some time to check it again today. If you dont mind. After a lot of thought and consideration, i think i dont have to open new post for this reupload version, it might just confuse people. So i just reupload it here. Changelog for the reuploaded version still the same as before. Now correct rom uploaded.
Remember, before doing anything, after 1st boot up, change that live wallpaper to any static wallpapers.

Flash like you normally does. Usually dmverity is needed if you are decrypted.

I usually go encrypted.
What about ROM does it support swapfile without lags? And Is it discarding apps?

All roms support swap file if you know how to command it. Lag is always there. Thats the nature of MIUI with low ram devices. Finally, about discarding app, please lock app in recent app and set it to no restriction for battery.

I flashed twice, got bootloop. I wonder why. Gingko, with twrp.

This maybe user specific issue because i reflashed this 3 times today before posting and it flashes just fine. Are you on decryped or encrypted? Can you try flashing this using orangefox recovery?

I noticed that gdrive is limiting download files now. Ive been mirroring the link for more than 10times now in telegram channel yet still dissapointing. But ill reupload it again soon with another mirror link. Stay tune
