The People app....

Loving the phone so far. One issue (aside from the low res photos) is syncing with Google +. I have quite a few friends on there and everything is set to sync. On my PC in the circle I am most interested is 10 people. On the phone that circle shows 0 people. Now if I go to the people app and choose to display by Google+ contact, some people show up but not others. I have manually removed and added people over and over, and forced the phone to sync over and over but nothing is working. I even went to google contacts and added peoples profile information there but no joy. Linkedin worked flawlessly, as did Twitter. Aside from trying to uninstall google+ and reinstall, anyone had the same issue or any fixes?
EDIT: Turns out I can not delete the app anyway......
Also if I go to the Circle on my phone it says "10 people" in the top left yet also says no people on the very same page.........

Status updates in the People app

I'm fairly certain that at one point the status updates when browsing your contacts in the people app (the little one line snippet underneath the name) used to show updates from Google+
Now they only seem to show updates from Twitter, and ignore anything from G+
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour, or am I just totally losing it and they were never there in the first place?!

Just checked and I still see Google+ updates. Not sure what has gone wrong with yours sorry, are the contacts still linked to their G+ profiles?

Yeah mine is working fine. Try wiping all your contacts and resync everything?

I don't know whats happened with mine then. I reflashed the stock image from Google, and it still isn't showing.
Are you sure the updates are showing on the main contact list, and not just in the individual contacts?

[Q] email widget for "unseen" emails?

I just switched from windows phone to the lg g3. So far I am loving the switch. My only remaining issue is that windows phone had a feature where if you glanced at your inbox it would clear the "count" on the widget. As far as I can tell all of the android email widgets only show unread messages. This doesn't work for me as well.
Can anyone point me at a widget that behaves similar to the windows phone widget? Basically is shows the count of messages that have come in since the last time email was checked.
I still manage read/unread on the desktop.. but for mobile device this is sure a nice feature.

If you are willing to use nova launcher then you can install tesla unread settings which will provide you unread counters on the corresponding icon. That's what I use and I love it. Here's a screenie:

Question Android 13 & Facebook

Upgraded to A13 yesterday but only noticed today when trying to add photos to Facebook taken by the phone it no longer see's them on the phone, I deleted the facebook app and re-installed it thinking this will fix it but no the same thing its gone blind and yes the phone has 100s of photos

This can be deleted, I just had a message saying I can add photos now and like magic the photos are now showing, very nice of them

I am now experiencing this issue and have been for several days. Seems like since the update to Android 13, but my issue has not gone away. I've made sure the app has access to my photos and videos. Any ideas?

FYI...I refuse to put the FB app on my phone. But, there is a way to access without having to zoom to read things. Maybe this would work. I've uploaded photos on FB from my phone without issue on 13. Just use the MOBILE version of their site.

Ads still appearing

Disabled ads and recommendations in all apps I could find, yet they keep appearing.
Boost speed now is showing ads, security is showing ads, even the file manager started showing ads. How to fix it?
Also tried enabling and disabling "msa" which I had disabled cause I read it would disable the system ads, it didn't help.

Hey Friend I have similar problem too. I turned off permissions/notification when I first bought the phone and all was good until recently. I have ads on Cleaner now and every time I open text messages always asking about chat features. Just today my lock screen and home page changed by themselves. I know text message notification for chat is from Google. Maybe they think phone is old now so send us all this ****.
