Hello All,
like other people I'm facing wifi disconnects when the phone screen is off. When it happens the phones switches to LTE although wifi signal strength is good. Of course wifi options are set to "always on". I had these wifi drops with the original OOS and with the official CM13 ROM. I assume both use the same wifi driver in the kernel.
Did anybody had the same issue and found a ROM which solved the problem?
Any help is much appreciated!
Freedomos seems to be stable with good wifi performance. Orion is also very good with connectivity.
Hello there, I have been having problems with the wifi of my redmi note 8 pro, everything should be working fine, the signal is strong (I'm next to my router) but when I send whatsapp messages the took many seconds to be sent and when I try speedtest, most of the times it asks me to check my wifi conection anyone with this problem or any possible solution?
BTW the battery management is MIUI default, no battery saver enabled at the moment.
My internet conection is 20mbs, the network is not saturated as in my computer I receive the 20mbs without a problem the upload speed of 2mbs is also working fine.
UPDATE: After trying everything to solve the issue, the problem was in my router config as it was related to a reserved IP Address that caused conflict with my phone DHCP.

It seems he had an ip collision problem : 2 devices with same ip address on his local network.
I have the same problem but a don't have IP conflict into my network. What do i have to do to solve this problem?
If you find out solution for this, post it... As I have same issue and Xiaomi support is not helping me a bit.

Good day to all, I have a problem with my redmi note 8 pro. I encountered an intermittent wifi disconnection everytime I use my wifi connection. I dont have a problem with my wifi internet because my wife and daughter are using it. I already reset my network, factory reset and also turned off my wifi assistant but still same problem. I also upgraded my RN8 pro to Android 10 miui 11.0.1. Is there a way to fix this problem? Can you please help me. Thank you.

Same problem with my RN8Pro. Keeps on disconnecting. Then don't connect automatically. At times, it shows the WiFi carrier as SAVED and don't connect to it.

I installed many custom roms on my poco m2 pro
I am facing issues with network. Network randomly goes offline. It shows emergency calls only. Then comes back after some time. Used same sim in another phone but no issue.
Advice what can i do?
Should i roll back to miui. If yes then how to do?
I've tried Arrow os 11 and now using it and facing same network issue not good network. Sometimes drops and sometimes even with full network range it does not connect. Not sure about other roms.
Try Pixel Extended android 10. I am using with no issues.
I'm feeling very bad connectivity to my wifi5G at home.
i didn't change anything in the router. my last phone was redmi note 7 and it worked perfect.
now the wifi is disconnecting all the time.
I'm running MIUI rooted.
