Share your Homescreen from the OPPO Find X5 Pro - OPPO Find X5 Pro Themes & Apps

With the OPPO Find X5 Pro, there are many different customization options available for your homescreen. Aside from a large number of high-quality wallpapers available to choose from, your can tweak your icons, transitions, and layout until you have everything looking perfect. Here are a few tips to get started customizing your homescreen using the default ColorOS launcher.
Create your own WallpapersIf you want to use a completely unique wallpaper for your phone, try using the inventive wallpaper system. This will create an abstract wallpaper based on your own original photo. Take a picture of something that features a color palette that you love, then use the inventive wallpaper option to generate a selection of images based on the colors from that photos.

To access inventive wallpaper:
Press and hold on your homescreen
Select Wallpapers
Select Inventive wallpapers [top right]
Customize your IconsIf you aren't happy with the default look of your icons, you can make some changes to alter the style. Choose between five different shapes, the size of the foreground, the size of the icons, and toggle the icon text on or off.
To access custom icons:
Press and hold on your homescreen
Select Icons
Select Custom
Choose Page TransitionsTransitions in ColorOS are very well done. It's a great way to really show off the 120Hz display with some smooth UI animations. These transitions are triggered when navigating from one page of your homescreen to another.
To access transitions:
Press and hold on your homescreen
Select Transitions
With these tips in mind, you can customize a very nice homescreen. To go even further in your customization process, try using the ColorOS themes app. This is my current homescreen:
The icon style is material, with a 5x6 app grid. The wallpaper is a photo I captured using the camera on the OPPO Find X5 Pro. Share your current homescreen in this thread.
Thanks to OPPO for supporting this thread

I received my Find X5 Pro yesterday and since I'm switching from One UI to ColorOS, I'm surprised to be unable to find certain features I've always considered to be 'standard baked in':
Trying to find a way to have a .mp4 to show as live wallpaper on the lock screen. Any idea how this can be done on a Find X5 Pro?
By lack of an option to organise the App Drawer by grouping apps in folders, I'm now making do with folders on the Start Screen itself:
Any idea how to set a particular Start Screen as 'Home'?

there we go my lovely oppo

Had almost same layout for past few years ... all down to memory now really.

Hey ya go guys

I use smart launcher Pro

That's it. If you like my work, or you want an icon tile request, post a comment. Hope you like it.
Excellent work, thanks. By the way, I don´t use facebook, could you make a 2x1 camera icon?
Nice work, Would like a camera icon too.
Also was wondering, since blue degrades fastest on AMOLED would it be better to have it in an alternate color ?
BEAUTIFUL!
thank you.
Nice, can you make the same icons but in green? =)
Nice Work !

[Q/Opinion] Launcher 7

Im not sure if this should be in Q&A or Themes &Apps..
Ive been trying to use launcher 7, I really like it actually.
The problem is it seems very buggy and laggy on my phone. I don't use that many tiles and about four widgets. Usually after a few minutes the widgets move all over the screen and out of the tiles.
I haven't seen any complaints in the comments in the market, only praises on how well and stable it is. I've used it both on a TW and cm7 ROM, locked home in memory trying to get it to function correctly.
Has anybody else have the same experience or is it just me and my phone? Am I doing something wrong or is this launcher still a WIP?
Have you ever considered using an app called Desktop Visualizer to create your own Windows 7 launcher? I mean it's not exactly the same but it does allow you to use your own images:

}
Thanks Im definitely going to check that out.
One word of caution though. When I attempted doing this several years ago, the only launcher that would allow you to place the icons so that they touch each other without leaving a gap was LauncherPro. Every other launcher I tried to use left a gap & didn't make it look so seamless.
You should also be able to find pre-made icon packs & tuts here on XDA.
Here's one to get you started:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783946
Update: Man what a pain. Using the included icon pack, I'm having trouble getting them to align correctly. Not only that in order to resize the home screen icons using Launcher Pro, you need Launcher Pro Plus which is a paid app. So I tried using ADW Launcher...still can't get them to align correctly.
I guess the icon packs were created for a specific sized screen (hence the problem with alignment). I'll continue to give it a go to see if I can get it to work.
Okay got it finally.
First you need to set your launcher to 5 rows & 4 columns.
Then when creating your icons (.png) from whatever image you find they need to be at the following resolutions/pixels:
1x1 = 110x122px
1x2 = 115x264px
2x1 = 230x124px
3x1 = 355x124px
4x1 = 475x124px
You may also be able to find icons packs/sets on the net but they have to be made specifically for screen resolutions of 800x480 in order to align correctly on our screens.
Hope that helps

[Tutorial] Google Now Homescreen

This is largely based/inspired by the Holo v2 homescreen by Fluffen. This is just a very simplified version I put together that's formatted for our device. It's sad pretty much all of the really good designs on My Color Screen are for newer flag ship devices with >720p displays.

There are 8 free spaces on the homescreen for Apps/Folders of your choice. I made it to have the most simple single screen access to everything I need. If you have some basic photoshop/image editing skills you can pretty easily "resize" the cards to your liking.
What's Needed
Nova Launcher (Apex would probably work too)
Minimal MIUI Go Apex Theme
Ultimate Custom Clock Widget
Glovebox (optional)
ZIP w/ wallpapers and UCCW file: Link
Nova Settings
Desktop
Desktop Grid: 4x4
Width Margin: Medium
Height Margin: Large
Persistent Search: Always
Shadow: Off
Homescreens: 1
Dock
Dock Pages: 1
Dock Icons: 5
Width Margin: Large
Dock Height: Medium
Small Icons: On
Show Indicator: Off
Show Divider: Off
Icon Theme: Minmial MIUI
Instructions
Extract contents of the zip
Choose and apply one of the 3 blank wallpapers in the zip
Add a 4x2 UCCW widget to the top half of the screen
Use my "Now Clock" uccw file
Set up weather & location in the settings menu
To add themed folders, create the folder with the desired apps. Long press on the folder, press the icon, choose icon pack, and find a suitable icon for your folder.
Set up Glovebox to your liking with the light/white theme to match.
Re: Google Now-esque Homescreen Tutorial
I just fixed and re-uploaded the alignment of the clock widget a bit if anyone has already downloaded the zip. It's petty easy to change up the widget yourself if you want to.

Surface Duo with Windows Phone Theme

One of the most disappointing things about the Surface Duo is when you first boot it up to be greeted by Android. Disgusting, horrible, boring Android. It just doesn't fit this phone well, and we are all aware of the many existing bugs. I couldn't help but wonder what it would look like to have this thing running Windows Phone. I used my HTC 8X as a reference to get this theme just right. This is the Surface Duo running Windows Phone theme.
Launcher: Square Home
Icons: Whicons
Launcher Settings:
System wallpaper [Off]
Screen orientation [Same as system]
Background color [Black]
Icon size: 170%
Tile size: 450
Tile spacing: 150%
Icon color pallet: Vivid
These are the basic settings you'll need to get started. From here, tweak the launcher as you see fit.

This setup has enough bugs that you'll revert back to the default launcher. But it's a fun system to use for a day, just to get a taste of how much better this phone could have been if Windows Phone was still around.

Nice this is amazing
Does this mean windows phone will be back from the dead
This looks great.
hey! can you send link to windows service apk ? please
Square Home rocks!
I went with the tablet layout option, the screen resolution is high enough for smaller tiles in multiple groups and I liked the bonus parallax desktop background. Added a narrow column to the left with small transparent icon tiles to emulate the full screen Windows 10 start menu.
I made a short video demo with detailed Square Home configuration
