Question Not able to unlock A72 bootloader - Samsung Galaxy A72 4G

Hey friends, how are you doing.
Currently i am facing an issue.
I'd like to install TWRP on my phone and i'd like to root it.
Unfortunately, all these popular guides for unlocking the bootloader, didn't help in my case.
I was able to tap "Unlock OEM" for the bootloader using developer options, and furthermore i've used these "fastboot" commands, in order to try to unlock it.
Both methods didn't work so odin always failed during writing the recovery partition, due to the locked loader.
How can i proceed in this case? Or is my phone cursed somehow? Thanks in advance!

That's not how you unlock the bootloader on Samsung phones.
You have to check OEM unlock in settings, then reboot to download mode and select "Unlock bootloader". Fastboot is not needed for that.
Follow this video guide to flash TWRP:
Or simply follow the steps described in the thread:

Their are more than a few ways to root ZF2.. I chose this method after a few failed attempts with some others..

It is important to know that in order to use root properly, as I found out the hard way, an unlocked bootloader is a must before trying to add a recovery or rom.

The reason I say this is because I took the first update and then rooted.. This was bad.. Almost every attempt to unlock bootloader afterward failed.. Couldn't update. Couldn't factory rest. So what was I to do? Luckily this wasn't my first rodeo.. After hours of xda searching and kicking my own ass, I started to remember," hey I have a brain let,s look up Asus support for phones".. Sure enough in black and white I was saved.. Now mind you guys.. You will have to use adb or fastboot tools as almost all of these instructions require sideloading or fastbooting.. So as GP I downloaded all above updates and went through them all erasing one after the other once updated to conserve the 16gig version I'm using. So grab updates add to root of internal storage using PC and USB cable, pull from USB after downloading and Boom..Phone will auto recognize update hit install and your good..

Note : Sorry if this is unclear i am typing this in a hurry. I will update this post again. Thanks!
Since you obviously don't know much about Android phones, the simplest way for you to fix this is probably via ASUS Flash tool. There are guides on how to do that here on XDA.

[Hard Brick] My cell stuck in hard brick.

Hi, 2 hours ago, I just unlocked boot loader.
But, I didn't know how to upload custom rom in that state, I think I used wrong code.
My cell worked till I used the code below.
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash abl_a
But, after that, I just spontaneously used the code below to upload custom rom..... (Why did I... sighhh)
fastboot flash abl_b
After I used the code, My computer can't read my cell and I cant also enter the fastboot mode.
Whenever I press any buttons on my cell, the only thing that I can see is this picture.

Root Possibility w/out PC

I'm sure my question hasn't been answered yet, but is it possible to root without having a PC? I'm a novice when it comes to Android modification but the update to 11 and the new DSU dev option seem hopeful. I was hoping I could somehow use Termux to unlock bootloader and then flash with magisk patched boot.img. I'm on the Metro variant (oem unlocked). Screenshots of build info provided

I'm not familiar with carrier locked phones. If it's OEM unlocked can't you just unlock bootloader with fastboot? It sure would be the easy option.

Highly not adviced to root without a PC, i tried it once and bricked my phone.
The bootloader can be unlocked, boot into the bootloader (with adb: adb reboot bootloader) and then type (fastboot oem unlock)

[GALAXY A520F - 2017] Unlock OEM does not appear.

Greetings!
I'm trying to unlock Bootloader to install TWRP and it's not working.
Initially I went into download mode and tried flash TWRP but it returns an unofficial software message.
Searching the internet I found that I should activate OEM Unlock, but it doesn't appear on my device.
After enabling developer mode, I've tried:
1. Return the date in the settings (01/04/2018)
2. Reset factory
3. Flash last device rom.
4. I waited more than 180 hours.
I entered other suggestions that I found but none worked.
I tried to run the command "Flashboot unlock oem", but the device does not work when I enter manual mode. When I connect to the computer and type the command "adb reboot fastboot" the device simply restarts and does not enter fastboot.
If anyone has any suggestions on how I can install TWRP or make the option to Unlock OEM appear I would be grateful.
