Never expected this device to get A12.x, especially even prior than OP3

This is amazing, just flashed it and it works perfectly. Never thought my good old op2 would go this far, especially afetr OnePlus abandoned it early

Scripts/LineageOS-17.1/CVE_Patchers/android_kernel_oneplus_msm8994.sh · master · DivestOS Mobile / DivestOS-Build · GitLab
Everything needed to build DivestOS, a more private and more secure aftermarket mobile operating system. https://divestos.org/index.php?page=build

maybe you should also apply these? would be nice.

nice work, installed it, but failing with the gapss - got error while installing from recovery that your AV is not supported..

Ask in their support group or try something like opengapps

Now it worked, but I've noticed problems with data connection even on wifi.. Can't finish installation from gplay store
UPDATE: i-net is working in browser, problem seams to be google store...

Is there any workaround for banking apps they seem to just crash

Use Zygisk. You will find plenty of guides on internet. Also if it needs CTS passing, then try some workaround including kdrag0n's patch or LineageOS patch.

Please just flash ROM first and boot into the system. This ensures it isn't any problem with the ROM but your addons.

Awesome. we are lucky to have him around still.

This is awesome! I already bought Poco F3 as my replacement and now I still have OP2 to play with!
Up up guys

Is the Data toggle issue solved?

Hi... I liked the ROM. It's awesome.
Thanks buddy.
1. My SD card cannot be formatted as portable storage. I had to format as internal.
2. USB OTG was not detected.
PS. I was on Havoc 3.9 and I had formatted only system and vendor. Data was not erased before flashing the ROM. In short dirty flash.
Please tell me if above two problems are known bugs or due to dirty flash. Should I clean flash again?

I recommend migrate app to migrate all the apps instead of dirty flashing. It's faster too. Takes little time to setup settings.
Does this build support f2fs?
Black screen after first boot. Is it magisk problem or Gapps ?

TBH I have many good experience with Cyanogenmod and Lineage in the past, and I have the feeling this is gonna be good too.. and so few days ago, when I was planning to use Android 11 Custom ROM, I was planning that I'm gonna use this Lineage OS again,... but before that ever happened, I try Colt 7, and I feel it as a nice ROM for me, without bug nor any hassles, so, meanwhile, for now, I will stay at Colt first, and I decide to wait until the Lineage Android 11 can have more mature stage, before I try it.
I still always love Lineage tho...

Hello why haven't you made a new compilation? This ROM is more fluid than LOS18.1, since the kernel has version 8.3 of linaro.
Can you please update the kernel version of linaro from LOS 18.1?

Quite impressive for being early builds!
I really love the visual and usability enhancements
Also I can confirm GPS has a very quick lock.
The only deal-breaker for using this as a daily driver is that background apps, like Instagram and Whatsapp, keep draining the battery.
From 100% to 39% with 5 min of screen on + 2 hours of background activity.
I'm sure doze and the battery optimizations will be refined asap, just reporting here for other testers to know.
New build is up, mainly to fix Bluetooth.
Does anyone have one of these problems?
1) The 2.4GHz hotspot does not work (enabled, but no the internet).
2) When connected to Wi-Fi, the phone reboots.
it seems the problem with hotspot could be temporarily fixed by turning on wifi then turning on tethering again
The hotspot is broken, 5GHz band always fail and 2.4GHz have no access point

It's because XDA doesn't have Android 11 option yet. :fingers-crossed:
It is a hair-pulling yet a good experience to work with a legacy device and push it to the limits.

That's affirmative - and there won't obviously be one in future as all DevDB threads will be reverted to "normal" threads eventually. Please refer to Big Changes To XDA Forums are Coming Soon:

All DevDB threads will revert to regular threads. DevDB Downloads will be removed, and we are significantly increasing the max file size for the attachment system on Xenforo. Any files uploaded via DevDB should be downloaded as they will be removed by 12/31/2020. To help ease the transition, we’re working on a mechanism to contact developers that have files on DevDB to provide download links and suggestions on hosting files elsewhere.

Thanks for the info Oswald.
Hey @_undead , If you don't mind you can check my Z5 R builds and sources.
Since the hardware is pretty similar to OP2, for lagging issues check this one.
I hope it will help you and your work here, Cheers!

Hello there!
Glad to see your response. I have already set that in the build I posted, not sure why it is happening.
The response is much appreciated! If you want, you can join our OnePlus 2 Discord server, bringing the best for both devices together because of the hardware.
Cheers!
Just installed LoS 18.0. Yes, a bit laggy here and there some force closes as well. But that was known so no complaints. But apart from that it works quite nice. Btw, I used FlameGapps and they work fine as well.
Not rooted yet, first need to find the Magisk Canary builds.
All in all a great work!
Cheers

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Great work, now we have fast R ROM! (but not as fast as Enchanted LOS 17.1)
Wow, thank you so much!! The performance and battery backup is very decent. No major issues except 2 things things,
1. Double tap to wake up missing.
2. Camera flash does not work. (however this can be resolved by using Footej camera 2)
You are best @xNombre . Nice work.
Hello,
I've just pushed a new update. It's stable release!
I'm actually surprised by how smooth gemini came out to be on a11.
Camera led is broken and probably will be, I cannot do much about it. You can always use custom camera app.

Thanks for your support on gemini. Everything works fine and smooth for now.
Just a small bug i found is disabling hardware buttons doesn't disables home button key.
On the latest version after turning on device encryption functionality and setting up boot password on, it stucks on infinite booting animation and never boots up again.

Hi!
I've been using your crdroid 6 for almost a year and I love it, thank you so much for your support on gemini.
I wanted to try this version but i can't find gapps for android 11 on the link you provided. Should I use NikGApps or it would be better to download the test version of opengapps for android 11? Would it add stability problems?
Thanks again and happy holidays to everyone!
