[Q] USB to 3.5mm and Charge Y-Cable

Hi All
Does anyone know if you can get a micro usb to audio and charge y-cable for the HOX? Does the USB port support line audio out so i can charge and play audio through the same cable?
Thanks
DC
Hi

Don't really get the point but none the less there is something like this on ebay... No offence intended but all I did was search google and ebay for "mhl usb audio" and that came up
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Galaxy-Sa...ltDomain_0&hash=item19cf699a26#ht_2671wt_1144
None taken. I also searched and found the same however this does not confirm whether or not the HOX actually supports charging and audio out from the same connector. As the listing doesn't list the HOX, I didn't want to assume it worked before purchasing.
Its for use in the car. Its a far more elegant solution than having a separate charger and 3.5mm cable hanging around the dashboard.
Thanks
Dave

[Q] Will a 3.5MM Stereo Headset Audio Adapter work?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has an experience to make a Samsung micro-USB to 3.5mm audio jack adapter to work? Something got into my audio jack socket causing contact issues. I don't have USB headphone, or external audio devices connected by OTG cable -- just plain headphone (or car audio's aux-in) connected to Note 2's usb port using the adapter ... will it work? Do I need an app to drive that?

Thanks -- unfortunately it didn't, but maybe because my USB-3.5mm adapter is too old (from another long dead Samsung phone). I even tried the SoundAbout app (free version) but still no joy. Maybe bluetooth is the solution to my problem but it's one more battery to charge.

USB-C splitter

I'm getting a pair of USB-C headphones, but that still leaves something to be solved: charging while using the headphones. Now there is a splitter for audio jack, but I was wondering if and how it would be possible to split the USB-C between headphones and a charger, all using USB-C.
Any ideas?

Edit: Disregard. I missed that your headphones are also USB-C.
I saw this mentioned in another thread as working for Pixel

Question USB Audio not working

I have some cheap Samsung USB Type C Earbuds. When I plug them in, I get a notification that says the Pixel is charging them(!) and the connector starts getting hot. This doesn't seem to be ideal.
No sound is played. Has anyone had issues with audio over USB?

Question USB-C to Aux Male-to-Male connector stopped working?

My OnePlus pro 9 phone is about 2 months old and the Usb-C to Aux was working perfectly until today. I tried to use it this morning
and it was not picking up the audio on my car.
I tried various options in developer menu and restarting multiple times, no dice. Charging seems to be working fine for now.

I'm not sure as to what you were trying to do? Music to car through the aux input?

Yes, the cable is also about 2 months old. It connects to the charging port of my mobile device via usb-c and on the other end is an aux 3.5mm which connects to the car - Male to male.
Why is it giving me problems, no longer works? It seems to be an intermittent problem (comes and go).
I am thinking about trying another cable but have to wait 2 days. Maybe someone else had this problem?

Could also be the car 3.5mm jack. Try it on the mic jack of a PC and see how it works as a test
