Question Camera error - Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G

good afternoon, do you have any solution. to solve the camera error on a52s 5g? As soon as I unlocked the bootloader, the camera stopped working..

What I also discovered is that (if you have Magisk of course) you can use the MagiskHide Props Config module to force "BASIC key attestation" (Download and install the module, reboot, open terminal emulator, type "su", then type "props") by spoofing to have a different device (Galaxy A5 2017 is the one I use, others should work fine too though). That way, the camera works, even when SafetyNet fails, without having to force-close after every reboot. Hope this helps.

A screenshot is a bit difficult, it's really long. I'll just attach the file with a txt extension.

Any way to hide root from specific apps?

Since rooting my 3XL, I've found several apps that detect root and will no longer work. I can live without them and work around it, but it's annoying. Does anyone know if there is a way to hide my root status from these apps? I've found mentions of some xposed modules that do this, but I'm apprehensive about trying them out quite yet.

In Magisk look for Magic Hide. Open it up and check the box next to the app. You have to be on a newer canary bild for it to work.

Thanks. I'm not sure how to tell which build I'm using, I'm using whatever was in the Root thread https://www.xda-developers.com/google-pixel-3-unlock-bootloader-root-magisk/
I'm assuming im not using the Canary build since I didn't see that module. Mind telling me how to check or update?

I don't see the module you referenced. There is Shellhide that says it's an alternative to Magisk Hide. In Magisk settings there is Magisk hide but it's just on or off, and was already on. So if that's it, it doesn't work for my purpose.
There are some apps that Magisk cannot hide from. This is my first Android phone that I have decided not to unlock the Bootloader on it. I am fine with stock, and don't need what root has to offer. Besides I like being able to use Android Pay and not have to play Cat and Mouse upgrading Magisk every time Android catches up to it.

Yes, I meant inside Magisk. If you have the check box next to the app checked and it is still finding it you are probably out of luck. Some apps are not fixable.
You can also go in settings and hit hide Magisk manager. That sometimes helps.

Viper4Android not processing

Anyone able to get Viper4Android to process? I have it installed through Magisk and it works when first installed but eventually stops. Only way to get it working again is to reboot.
I think it stops when changing output forms. Instead of rebooting fully, try hitting the 3 dots on the top right of the app and hitting exit and then relaunching the app.
I tried that and force closing it. Didn't work but what seems to have fixed it was uninstalling the driver...it then asked for root permission to do that. After a restart everything is working even when changing apps. We'll see if it's permanent or not. Thanks for the reply though.
Try this: uninstall your current module, reboot, and install this apk. It's an unofficial material design 2 viper that auto generates a magisk module when you install it for your device. I got mine working properly.
Thanks, I'll try that. Been having to reboot again.
Well along with the acp and aml modules that method worked. Hopefully this sticks. Thank you for your help!

That's what I have, and it worked at first but not any longer on Pixel 3a.
Are there other modules that should be installed, or can't be, as well?

Have you tried in this module enabling the compatibility mode and reboot?

Got Canary working, can't update build prop?

Wanted to do the old hotspot trick (net.tethering.noprovisioning=true) but the build prop won't save. Any ideas?
Also trying to load adaway in data/hosts and data/data/host fail.
But magisk modules will install and work.
Search on XDA for Tethering Enabler for Magisk. It's working for me not sure about Adaway.

Regarding adaway, make sure you set "systemless hosts" mode in Magisk settings. Not sure of the exact name of the setting at the moment as I do not currently have Magisk installed...
I wasn't able to get /system rw which limited options on enabling tether.
Adjusting magisk for systemless hosts worked fine for me but I was never able to get tethering working on q. I went back to 9 until things smooth out a bit.

Huh. I'll have to keep it in mind if I try to re enable tether after an OTA. I managed to find a guide that worked by setting it in terminal.

Oddly enough I couldnt get any of that to work. Until I installed busy box and installed the system less host module via magisk.

As for tethering I got it working cherry! I can't find the exact guide I found but this is the same. Had to install busy box and whatnot but, it worked. Found this guide on XDA but this link has the same steps. Be warned though, 4 isn't "add new/custom", for me, I had to press 5 not 4. https://www.getdroidtips.com/how-to-enable-native-tethering-on-rooted-pixel-3-3xl/
Not sure what tether_dun_required 0 does. But it worked like a charm and persists after reboot now.
Thanks everybody, got it all working now. Couldn't have done it without ya!

Click the systemless option in the Magisk settings. It will install the correct module for you.
I did that is just causes a pop up that says added systemless host module. Adaway still gives me a syslink error?

This worked perfectly. Adaway is my favorite piece of software. Thank you. I had also installed busybox, based on an earlier comment. Not sure if that was necessary.

Magisk tethering

I can't seem to find that module anymore.
Does anyone have a link, or a copy?
Thanks

It likely was removed from the repository due to not being updated. The thread in the Magisk forum, if said thread exists, should still exist however.
This is the one I use. I saved the file to my PC for this reason.

Here it is as well post #76
Tried both. They appear to install but do not show up in the modules list.
Just to update, the adb shell command and the magisk props module got it working.

I just stumbled on this thread, took a look at the module forum. The last page has a link to some other module that supposedly does the same thing, and it works with newer versions of Magisk. I didn't look at it or try it, though.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-tethering-enabler-testers-t3476625/page15
I had it at one time... Silly me didn't back up my phone and I reset it.
No worries though. I got it working again.

The update is available through Oxygen Updater app
First thoughts on OOS 13 are really positive, smoothness is the first thing I noticed, it's day and night with OOS 12
The UI revamp is very satisfying to me
Overall, it feels more polished than OOS 12, with the sense of details in every feature/setting, and some new unique features
Thanks. Looks like I'm getting IN2025, so will have to do the patched boot.img myself.
Time to find my old notes somewhere
Is your Fingerprint Sensor working with A13? Mine not.
I assume same issues as we had with A12 and USNF

I keepted mine as well, SafetyNet and gPay are working, but Unlock with Fingerprint Sensor is not. No reaction to sensor at all, not able to register new Finger...
Edit: Working now. Needed to disable USNF module, no reboot, Fingerprint Sensor working, register Fingers, screen lock, test, enable USNF module, enjoy

I already have the fil, but I can't install it from system update apk,
am I missing something ?
EDIT:
re-downloaded the file again from Oxygen updater, but still it fails to install nd also "verification failed" in system local update.
Edit 2:
I re MSM back to OOS11 and upgraded directly to OOS 13 F3.
Tanks you so much it worked for me.
Can we use google pay with this version rooted ?
Edit. Gpay works
Hey guys, what version of Magisk (and branch) are you using to root OOS13?
I am still on 11.0.11.11 with Magisk 23.
What is the procedure to upgrade to OOS13 from OOS11 without losing root, Magisk modules and all my data?
I tried downloading full OOS12 using Oxygen Updater app, ran Local System Upgrade, it finished normally, then installed Magisk to inactive slot (after OTA) and rebooted BUT after reboot - the system stays 11.0.11.11. And the attempt to Local System Upgdate for OOS13 fails right on start.
What am I missing?
Please help

In magisk go to settings then make sure zygisk is checked and activate denylist. In the denylist check google services is check.
Then install the module universital safetynetfix v 2.3.1 by kdrag0n
To me netflix and other apps work.
In the google play store you have many apps that can check if your safetynet is verified after it. If its verified it should work
To me vanced manager do not work when i try to install youtube vanced. It says that i tried to downgrade paquet but i did not. I uninstalled every youtube upgrade. If somebody know

Flash Universal SafetyNet module in magisk (kdrag0n) and Magisk Bootloop Protector (just in case)
Check your status after a reboot with YASNAC from Play Store
Force the Magisk DenyList, and when configuring it, develop the apps and check all the tick boxes manually (to be sure)
Uninstall Netflix and install the latest .apk from APKMirror, can't help as other app (banking too) works fine
Isn't vanced dead ?
