It is built into the chipset, but it has no tuning circuit. Software is nonexistent naturally, hardware is only partially there.

I can attempt it. But I'm going to need some files from your mi 9 se which requires root. If you have root. Please give these files :
mixer_path_mtp.xml
mixer_payh_tavil.xml
It's ok if you only have one of the above.

It's a bit hard to find the lines to edit, in the earpiece section, change RX0 Digital Volume. But you also have to change RX0 Digital Volume on the upper page is the file. I'll attach some screenshots.

Some phones are just not capable enough to make it noticeable, so what volume did you get it to?

i would to but i still have 190h left before i can unlock my bootloader
I just got this phone today and found out that it could not play anything in Netflix in HD. In "test patterns", it only maxes out at 540p with a really low bit rate.
I have done numurous research on different versions of Netflix, but none really worked, not even the modded ones for the Poco phone F1 originally.
The Redmi note 8 pro has widevine L1 and is supposed to play Netflix in HD with no problem, but it couldn't. Anyone has a solution to this problem? And would this problem be solved? I really don't want to wait like how the Poco phone users waited 4 months for that widevine update.

I think it's a chipset related issue, because of Mediatek compatibility.

I dont think there is any other options... unless you are rooted and want AOD working, this i feel is a much better solution

the concept is the same as 10.0.3
you need to install magisk canary app, set OEM unlock and adb in developer options in phone, then find the correct 10.0.7 magisk-patched-boot.img file from the forum then flash with adb
Just installed aodNotify by Jawomo on playstore. It's an early access app(not everyone will be able to download just yet). It's just fantastic!! I bought the pro version (less than a dollar). No battery drain, absolutely does what you intend to. Highly recommend it!

How can you use it on oneplus ? . As far as I know AoDNotify only compatible with Samsung phones . No way to run on oneplus .
Please check on playstore. It clearly says its for one plus(actually 8). Anyways i have been using it flawlessly. Y don't you try it for yourself and see..

Thanks for sharing. I guess the app developer needs to update the app's description then, as it still lists specific Samsung devices as the only ones with which it will work.
I thought that with android 10 update they'd bring the edge screen/edge lighting feature to the a70 but they didn't...so if anyone can do a port from a50s/a70s or a51/a71 it will be very appreciated

i was thinking of trying to do a port, but there is no motivation when members demand things.
For any developer who can do a port ,I'm ready to help with anything I can do.. Just i don't have the enough knowledge to do this properly and I've tried what I know
I installed the apk and gave it all the permissions by adb but no luck

damn bro this works, thanks! I am using an a70s btw, also, If any developer wants to port I will test and send logs. I am not rooted so i can only help with non-root methods/apps.

It depends, if a standalone app is ported then it won't. If it is ported from a note or an s series then it may require some libraries, root is needed for that and also sometime a complete port of that device is required (base ROM)
