Hello, We achieved root on Sony Tablet S but in 5a OTA update, Sony locked the recovery shell. So, we need root and bootloader unlock for tablet. We need more developer for this.

I have just bought New Xiaomi Mi Max Prime. I wanted to root but I went through a lot of trouble.
1) I can't root without TWRP
2) I can't install TWRP without unlocking bootloader
3)I can't unlock bootloader without contacting Xiaomi !
note that I don't want to change the ROM or do anything. I just want to simply root my device so I can use some features and Titanium backup to restore my apps from my Samsung Note 4.
can anyone kindly help me with an easy working way of rooting this device because I spent almost a full day looking for an answer trying every possible solution on the web but without luck !

You should unlock your phone first after getting permissions from xiaomi. Apply to unlock and it shouldn't take a long time to approve it

Than you need the Unlock Tool BUT you must wait 72 Hours before you can unlock your Mi Max...

I'm waiting for my mate 20x to be delivered soon. Is it worth rooting which one would lose updates. Or should i not root it?
You'd have to unlock the bootloader which isn't possible at the moment, so no root currently.

No you can't (US models are bootloader locked) UNLESS you go the route found in the "Bounty for U.S model" route in one of the threads here. It is a pay for BL unlock method, so just know that. Afaik it is the only way to get your model unlocked to be able to run custom OS/root.

My Redmi Note 7 Pro has a network problem, always shows no service. I have already tried fixing it in the Official Mi Care but failed. I want to use this mobile for the experiment so I need root. But without Mi Unlock Status I can't find any solution. Do you guys know about any unofficial or another way to root or unlock the bootloader without a network?
