Question Removing VIDA ROM and flashing VIVA ROM. HELP! - Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G (viva/vida)

I currently have the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G Indian (VIDA) currently on miui V13.0.5.0.RGDINXM
I want to flash a different ROM, which is Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G global (VIVA) currently on miui V13.0.8.0.RGDMIXM
I want to change Rom regions because India version is slow to recieve updates compared to Global.
For example, since Redmi Note 11 Pro was released, india was only given 1 update. Global was given 4 updates. I attached pictures for all of you to see
I know that the difference between VIDA & VIVA is that VIVA has NFC and VIDA does not have NFC.
If I flash VIVA ROM on to VIDA Device, will I experience any problems. I will flash it by using Choose Update Package method in MIUI Updater Settings.
Does anyone know?

Test it

You can try flashing GSI or wait for custom rom for vida

So sad to hear bro. Hopefully we can get a stable rom in future. I can't bear this crappy miui. Thanks for the reply

If your bootloader is unlocked you can always try to flash a global viva fastboot ROM.

I haven't tried on this model, but before that I used to own a Chinese Poco M3 Pro 5G, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the global variant and it worked. So I would say that it's most likely going to work, the ROM is basically the same

You can flash Redmi Note 5 Global/Redmi Note 5 Pro ROM available on en.miui.com
But keep in mind that there's is no 8.1 ROM for Global only 7.1. Brw Indian and Global share the same ROM.

because i read in miui official forum that if you have Chinese ROM you need to do fastboot flash first, before flashing Global or India ROM
you can down gmail.app from MIUI APPSTORE, it will notify you install gapps... kind of global version..
or you can unlock your device and flash the rom from xiaomi.eu

Yes unlocked boot-loader is required for that. You can't directly make the switch from China to Global stable/dev roms. Since you've a china stable rom, start the unlocking process immediately, wait for 15 days and then unlock. If not test-point which is cumbersome but no need of waiting time. You have to use China Stable atleast for 15 days before you can fastboot flash global rom.

Some people in MIUI Device Team said that going from China ROM to Global ROM ( or India ROM ) for the Redmi Note 5 Pro is not a good idea due to different camera setups, so you might experience issues with them.

In the end of this April several country will sold this version according to spec that xiaomi officially state. So I believe and at the same time hope this is the global variant. Btw that country is South East Asian.
why not just switch sys language to English?
First u need unlock bootloader. After 15 days bootloader will unlock then u will install global rom.
I'm using the China version, too. You can install Play Store, Gmall and other Gapps right away, since the Chinese rom includes Google framework.

Can I flash MIUI 12 rom on my Indian Note 8 pro model?

Hello members,
Can somebody conform me that its possible or safe to flash the official MIUI 12 rom available in XDA on the Indian variant Note 8 pro? Because the rom has mentioned as begonia which is a global variant firmware. I need to clarify so that things don't turn bad.

yes , as long as it's not beta and it's stable official and has fastboot rom. don't try to flash beta on mtk devices xiaomi already warned rn 8 pro users about it , even if it's stable beta , it's better to wait also xiaomi warned about messing with rn8 pro firmware.

Mi 10T Lite or Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G?

What's the main difference between the two devices?
I can't find the Mi10t5g to buy, so i was thinking about getting the RN9Pro5G instead, it's a good idea?
I'll be alowed to flash the global room (of the Mi10Tlite5g) without any problems?
And does it need to be unlocked first?
The custom roms develoment will be shared btw the two right?
That's it, thanks for stoping by, sorry for any repetead questions.

Well. The lack of B28 is worrisome, but my current smarthphone (RN5/Whyred) does not have it either, so is should work, just not as good in terms of down/up speeds in 4g. It has at least two bands that works here.

Hello everyone
I bought redmi note 9 Pro 5g in China
The names of Xiaomi's mobile phone series are getting more and more confused, and the model names of the global version and the Chinese version are interlaced,
Which version of twrp can China redmi note 9 Pro 5g brush
Can I swipe [10.0] [Gaussian] lineage OS 17.1 in the forums after brushing?
thank you!
Mi 10T Lite or Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G? Indeed Xiaomi/Redmi makes too much Smartphones with similar but not the same hardware for different markets while using the same names. Confusing.
I like the dedicated microSD slot in the Mi 10T Lite (Note 10 Pro is reported to have that too, release this month?).
In the Note 9 Pro there is a shared microSD slot, but it should have Radio which Mi 10T Lite has not.
I do not know of other inside specs differences.
So overall I tend to Mi 10T Lite or Note 10 Pro.

Question Can the Chinese domestic model K40S not be able to use Global ROM?

I am a Korean who is using the K40s, a model for China. After unlocking and replacing the Chinese domestic ROM with the global ROM (v13.9.5.0.SLMMIXM), an error occurs in the camera where the front and back are reversed. So I am currently using EU ROM. The reason is that the global model POCO F4 and the main camera are 64M and 48M, are the domestic models really unable to use Global ROM?
Try copying camera libs from china rom to global rom, this file is for POCO F4 to Redmi K40S rom.

After deleting the eu rom in use, clean installation of the global rom 13.0.5.0.SLMMIXM with miflash, I tried to install the file you sent from recovery, but error1 occurred and installation was not possible.
However, thanks for the reply.

Okay! Here's what I did to get it working!
When first flashing from Redmi Note 12 Turbo China ROM to Poco F5 EEA ROM, I used flash_all_lock.bat. This did not work. However, when I used MiFlash Unlock afterwards, then it booted!
Anyone trying this, please use the Flash_all.bat script or do what I did explained above.

On a CN device always use the flash_all.bat file to flash a rom other than CN.

Yep, but you have to unlock the bootloader first then use Miflash.
Your phone will not be better with an EEA rom (rom for Europe), for example you will have a limited sound volume.
The best (in my humble opinion) are the Xiaomi Eu roms.
