General Just FYI - New OnePlus 9 Pro prices shooting upwards at big guy vendors - OnePlus 9 Pro

We noticed last night (Tues 21 Jun 2022) that since last time I looked at prices of new US unlocked 12GB/256GB OnePlus 9 Pro models a couple weeks ago, where most retail places like Best Buy, Amazon etc. who were stocking and selling these at the current retail of $799, have now suddenly started marking these way up.
Last night Best Buy was selling for $1069 and Amazon (direct, not reseller) had also gone way up.
Just posting this in case anybody was looking to get one but maybe had not pulled the trigger yet. Or maybe a spare you wanted but were going to wait - this was our situation. We wanted to have a 3rd as a spare in case something happens to one of our phones.
Well I am sure there are any number of reasons why prices are suddenly going north on these. Not much being shipped from China lately for example, and market responding with fear and greed. Or maybe (conjecture not calling this fact) it is just official now to those in the know that they are not going to be making any more and so the market is reacting to knowledge that whatever is out there is all there is going to be.
In any case, if you were looking to get a(nother?) OnePlus 9 Pro unlocked US 12GB/256GB, you may want to bump up your timetable so you don't get totally gouged.
If you are careful looking around at Amazon you can find combo deals that let you still get one for just over the original $799 retail price, for example if you buy with a set of pro buds.
Anyway, snagged up our spare to have on hand last night. Would really hate to have to buy a 10 Pro if something happened to one of our 9 Pro's.

I bought an Open-box 12/256 OPO 9 Pro off Ebay for $704 shipped 2 weeks ago. Phone looks and performs flawlessly and have been very happy with it so far (even with C48). Just throwing it out there in case people are OK with not buying new.

Glad you found one at a price you are happy with.
I looked briefly on eBay for new ones a few weeks ago the lowest priced d00d I found with new Morning Mist ones was asking (pretty sure) $1199 for them and was not open to budging on price, even buying two of them.
So I shrugged and went to a local Best Buy who had 2 Pine Green in stock for retail price ($799). We've covered phones up with non-clear cases and will be covering camera eyes areas with protectors too when we put the Whitestone domes on, so who cares if they're green under the covers?
Amazon had both colors in stock last night...
Will have to disable/uninstall/burninate the Alexa crapware on the spare if/when we need it (break seal only in case of emergency) but we run LOS anyway.
Cheers!

The retail is not $799, it's $1069. Sounds like the sales are just coming to an end to me.

OK. Yeah, well not sure what the "official" retail price was on these a few weeks ago, my statement of $799 was what they were (and still ARE) listed at OnePlus website for, although they are out of stock there unless you are OK with buying a T-Mobile carrier-locked one (no thanks...). They WERE 799 at Amazon and Best Lie 3-4 weeks ago when we bought our first two. Now they're not.
Retail price... street price... whatever.
But yea, whole reason I posted this was for anyone who was thinking of buying (another?) one - in hopes it helps some friendly peeps here get one before they are gone, or before you have to pay $1800 for one as I saw some resellers listing them for last night...
Because gougers gonna' gouge... and when even the BIG guys are doin' it, well, it just goes downhill from there...
Word to the wise... thats all.

I can buy OnePlus 9 Pro with less than 400 Euro from sales forums in my country. People sell the phone from different reasons:
- because they received as (bad) gift:
- Pixel, Samsung or icreap users:
- don't like Onepllus phones / OxygenOS.
- they have other phone and they got used to it.
- the need of money.
For example, i bought a brand new OnePlus 10 Pro, 8/128gb, black, full box with 600 euro.

Yep, understood.
Personally, this is the first model of android I have purchased myself brand new (vs. it being issued to me by the peanut dispenser/employer) that had a non-replaceable battery. I am not sure yet with my degree/level of experience on non-replaceable battery phones what the long-term effect/life/use pattern is, so just speaking for me, it's one of the reasons I've restricted myself to buying brand new sealed box vs. used, although I do know used can be lot cheaper.
Also a lesson I learned with 1st OnePlus 9 Pro I got from Amazon the other day is, just because it is brand new in factory sealed box does not necessarily mean defect-free. It had some kind of ding/pit/blemish around the edge of the metal frame on front, right where the glass meets the frame, which I was concerned about affecting fit of the case and/or glass screen protector, so I had to get a replacement sent.
FWIW both OnePlus 9 Pro's I got from Amazon (.com, not 3rd-party reseller) had mfg date on box sticker of June 2021. And battery on the 2nd one was just about dead (8% remaining) when I opened it up. The 2 originals we bought from Best Lie were at 21% remaining and had Oct 2021 mfg date on box sticker.
I never started up/checked battery on the first one I got from amazon. That ding on the frame was a show stopper for me...

They took a page from Motorola too,....bought a RAZR and a month later the white razr came out. Gave it to my wife, bought the Nexus, a month later a white one is coming out.
Aww man, this blows! lol I just ordered the 16GB version yesterday from Daily Steals for $560. I'll have to think this over, and consider canceling and maybe wait for the 32GB.

found another article.. think this picture of the white one, actually makes it look somewhat nice looing
i dont know about the white model, but i already requested a RMA # and return shipping from amazon for my current gnex. 16gig is just not enough... im in subways a lot so google music doesnt really help, its great until i go underground

You can make it go offline mode by downloading your music via Google Music.
Can't really blame Google though. Blame the MTA for the lack of internet service underground whereas other countries already have this technology to provide 3G/4G service underground.
Why is this a surprise?...this happens with almost all android phones. White versions getting released after some time and we all knew 32gb is coming down the line since there was a 32 gb verizon version.

you make a great point...
does verizon have exclusive rights indefinitely or just for a a few months.. any ideas?
because if this phone ever comes out on t-mobile, i will give the 16gb to my brother and use the upgrade i have to get the 32gb
until it's confirmed by samsung/google these are just rumors from shops. feel free to return your device, but you may just be buying the same thing again in a month if this all winds up to be fake.
even those white pictures are from a user at droid-life.
*edit* i stand corrected. just saw in another post an actual statement from expansys that they are getting the 32Gb black version most likely in about 4+ weeks. However, they also said that it would be 599 UK. (i don't know how to make the pound symbol) meaning that the price for import will probably be around $800 again verses the $650 you can get the 16Gb for now.
anyway, it's your money. Personally, there are ways to increase the 16Gb. I have an OTG cable and plug in a 32GB microSD card that has all my videos in it.
The white won't flow with the screen/OS as nicely as black, but damn, it looks nice.
As for the 32gb version, eh couldn't care less. Wifi or service everywhere I go, and if usage becomes a problem I just tether to my Sprint line.
White..... not so much.
32gb? /: damn! Can't believe it!

Well the GSM versions, you can always buy a white plastic shell. I don't know if they'll make the white version of the Verizon model. I'm not too concerned about color. I never owned a white device, but my GF has a white TPU case for a year and its brownish yellow.
When I bought an iPad 2 some years ago, I was in line talking to the Apple guys about black or white. They said the white's end up nasty and yellowish.
I think I'd rather stick to black.
As far as 16 vs 32... thats a valid concern. Obviously more expensive. I can't see how 16gb is "not enough" but whatever.
I don't think you need EVERYTHING in your collection with you at once. The average song length is 4minutes. There are 24 hours in a day. If you listened to music 24 hours, you could only listen to 360 songs. Add some variety and spice and quadruple that. That's 1440 songs, or enough to listen for 4 days without hearing a repeat. 1440 @ 5mb = 7.2gb. With Cloud storage, you should be ok.
Same with Movies. You only need a few movies on you at once. 480p is great for mobile applications. The screen is so small that the difference is miniscule.
Throw some backups, flashable roms, apps, games < 16gb.
You can also use a USB host cable to connect a thumb drive. But if you ABSOLUTELY must have the 32gb version for whatever reason, I would be thinking about it. We all knew from day 1 that there was going to be a 16 and 32gb version. The white is a surprise though.
There are tons of people looking for Galaxy Nexus's in the Marketplace. Sell it and wait it out.

pretty much my feeling. I'm using the internal for pictures, some small movies/shows, and music.
then i have a OTG cable and a 16GB microsd that i'm using when i want to watch a full movie. i also have a 1TB hard drive that works with my tablet for anything else. and i'd say 99% of the time, if i'm going to be on a long trip and need that much entertainment, i'll have the tablet/harddrive with me.
plus, as you said. cloud storage as well.

Google or Verizon have not explicitly stated about the exclusivity but it's pretty obvious and lots of tech sites believe the same. I do think eventually you will see Nexus on other US carriers like the nexus s, but nothing confirmed.
My suggestion is use your upgrade to buy a subsidized phone, sell it on ebay or here in marketplace and then use that money to buy the 32gb. You still have to put some money on top but still better than full $800 or what ever.

Anyone serious about the lifespan of their phones are gonna be rockin' some sort of skin or case anyway. In that case what does it matter what color it is. The memory issue, hey that's a matter of preference.

I guess the 32GB GSM version gives me another excuse to hold out a bit longer from getting the Galaxy Nexus.
I see the white version like this. Would you buy a nice gunmetal grey car or a white one?
I also think that the onscreen buttons will look out of place. On the black one it all looks uniform like the whole front is the screen.
And white will go yellow and if it gets a scratch any dirt will sit in the scratch and be visible.
My 2c.

Buying gnex with broken screen.

Hey guys, I have been jumping around android phones for the last 2 years as I buy and sell them. Anyways I found a gnex on my local Craigslist for sale with a tiny crack in the screen by the power button.. The guy only wants a 100 bucks for it. The rest of the phone is clean and the esn is clear. And the phone is 100% usable as is. My only problem is i cant find a replacement screen assembly for under 200. I am used to paying upwards of 100 for other screen assemblies I have replaced. But over 200 makes it better to just buy a used phone.
So the only reason I want this phone is because I can use it as is for a while until I can get the cash for a replacement screen. But still 200 bucks is hard to swallow.
What say you guys?

Unless it's free, I'd never buy something damaged off the bat. Just save for money for a new one. I did that ones and it ended up costing more then a new one .. and it was never perfect like a new one.
That's the price. Digitizer and screen are one piece so that's why the price is high.
doesn't sound like a bad deal to me, make sure the phone works well then when you do get around to changing the screen out save the one with the hairline as a backup in case you ever shatter the new one. At least you could use the nexus while waiting for the money for the screen.
Pony up $100 more and you can have a new one from google with warranty. $399 from the play store for GSM galaxy nexus.

I just sold my cracked GN for more than $100 and I still think that is a good deal. You cant feel or really see the cracks when the screen is turned on. The phone works and feels perfect, just doesn't look good. I think it's a great opportunity for a young dev or someone with out a lot funds to pick up a fully functional newest Nexus for a fraction of the new cost. Don't even bother fixing the screen. Save that money for the next nexus and enjoy the cracked one for now.
I got mine off cl... $380 with only a few cosmetic noticeable scratches. Mostly near usb port. I wanted unlimited 4g!

Your the 2nd person to say that so I man see if they will fix it for me.
And I think I am going to go get the phone on Monday as soon as I get back from a weekend trip.
I am stoked to be a gnex owner. My thunderbolt was good to me but she has seen better days. Thanks for your help guys.

Update-
I drove over and go the phone today. It's like brand new. A tiny crack that is only visible when the screen is off and a tiny 2mm crack on the bezel. Other then that the phone is like brand new. The guy said that he wanted a iPhone and so he never bothered fixing the gnex.
He wanted 100 but I ended up talking him to 70 because I had to drive 30 miles. He even threw in 2 charges and a case and a screen protector.
I have to go to verizon tomorrow to get a new sim card because my thunderbolt uses the bigger card. So tomorrow I will be up and running.
I am so stoked on my find. And should i ever want to get it fixed. Samsung told me it's 160 to get the screen fixed. So I could have a brand new nexus for for 230 total.. Or a nexus with a tiny crack that is pretty much unnoticeable for 70. I am just stoked all around.

I just bought a Gnexus from ebay for £116 with a crack in, I think its a great deal. I had a budget of about £200 ( im a student, crappy androids price), moved from webos to the best android and i've saved money, im absolutely in love with the purchase and maybe when the screen annoys me I'll see if prices have lowered and buy a new one (might even mod it touchstone compatible. If anybody is thinkig is is it worth buying a cracked one, I say yes, top of the range phone for very cheap!
I found an offer in Croatia, also cracked GNex (picture in attachments).
So, the owner says that the phone is still fully functional, just the glass is cracked. My question would be, if it's really only the glass how much would it cost me to buy a replacement glass from ebay and is it posible to change it by myself (newbie!)?
Idk the cost of them but they do look fairly difficult mainly getting the digitizer out that's cracked and replacing it. I've done a wide selection of repairs and digitizers just tend to be the hardest thing on most devices. But hey with patience and steady hands its possible

UH-OH protection sent me a used, scratched up replacement

For a screen replacement on my M8, I received a used one with a minor scuff on the side. When I had it replaced under warranty, I received what looked like a new phone.
Not sure if it's different with uh-oh. You can try reading the print on their uh-oh plan to have physical evidence to show them if you were suppose to receive a new device or certified like new. Their live chat support is available in which you can also say that you received a replacement in bad condition to see what happens.
Best of luck.

Agreed with the above. Not sure, as never used Uh-Oh, perhaps other folks can chime in.
But I'd contact them anyway to complain and ask for another device. Even if it isn't a new device from Uh-Oh (which I always thought it was, but again, not sure) -- It still should be up to some sort of a standard. Scratches and marks everywhere simply is wrong. I'd be quite pissed, my OCD would be having a fit, too.
Best of luck, my friend.
It sounds like maybe your phone was accidentally placed in the warranty/repair section because everyone I've heard of that has used UH-OH has gotten a brand new phone in the retail box.
I think they are having fulfilment issues, especially relating to the supply of backs that they have. Were your scratches on the metal body or the screen? I just got an uh oh replacement for my US Unlocked and the one they sent was in great shape, but had the back/body for the sprint version of the device. The software was us unlocked, but the body had the wrong model number (2PS6400). Anyway, I complained and the ticket was escalated but they were not willing to do anything. I finally spoke with an RMA supervisor and when I explained that I wasn't in a hurry for the new device, but I really wanted the correct device as the sprint body will decrease resale value, he said that they were having issues with inventory and that if i truly wasn't in a hurry, then I should send my replacement device back, continue to use my cracked device and open a new ticket in a week or two. So...we'll see how all that works out.
I think most of the time Uh Oh devices are refurbished, but I certainly wouldn't accept one that had a bunch of scratches on it. Good Luck.

Good Luck.

WHOA! That's crazy! Every post I've seen about people using UH OH have gotten brand new devices?
This is not okay, they should not send these "refurbished" used devices to people.

Honestly, I don't know what the policy is regarding new/refurbished devices is. I used Uh Oh for both m8 and m9 prior to this and both times i received a mint condition replacement device. I always just assumed that they were refurbished, though. Even the device I just received with the Sprint body was mint condition.
I'm fine with either new or refurbished, but the device should definitely be mint and the same model as your original device.
I had to use uh oh a couple months ago, they sent me what appeared to be a new phone, but the camera was borked. It was a complete headache to get a replacement, but after over 3 weeks of talking, chatting, and blasting htc on Twitter they finally sent me a brand new one. You should definitely get it taken care of asap.
I used uh-oh protection a couple weeks ago, and I got back a brand new (at least as far as I could tell) phone, in a retail box, with all the accessories.
Well they shouldn't have sent you a scratched one but they're perfectly within their rights to send you a used one. It's important to read our warranties folks. Many times they aren't what we think.
From UhOh warranty addendum:

Exert from page 2:
Notice where they say they reserve the right to repair or replace with a "functionally equivalent reconditioned" device and or parts. Also it mentions the device will be in working condition but says nothing of cosmetic condition, but again they should NOT have sent you a scratched one.
They are incompetent

just requested a HTC X and a A9 under the uh-oh plan. I paid a $599.00 deposit x2. It took 8 days to get the X and I am still waiting for the 9. The X they sent me has some real problems. The speakers di not sound the same, not a little bit different but completely different. The sound is not acceptable. The screen produces dingy whites whereas the original X produces nice clean whites. The fingerprint sensor feels like it is a button now... It is NOT an equivalent phone. I am not going to accept it. My X still works and I am not going to surrender it to them for this replacement. I sent my M9 in a year ago and they sent me a phone that was ghost-touching, so I returned it and then they sent me a Verizon phone... I use at&t but the phone still worked, it was just the case that was Verizon. However, now I have the wrong case. I was tired of dealing with them so I let it go. Well, the speaker broke so I called and asked how much to repair the speaker... I then told them about my phone having the wrong case etc... And asked if I could get the correct case while they are repairing the speaker and they said I would have to pay $100. I am not paying for that so I cancelled the while thing.
I am no longer going to by HTC, they are not the only phone with good audio these days. The lg v10 and v20 sound great the ZTE axion is only $400 and sounds amazing
I appreciate everyone's input.
I called in regarding the scratches on the replacement phone. They sent me to the higher division and proceeded to send me another replacement. This time the representative told me that these Uh-oh replacement phones are not new, but they should appear as good as new, that's why I was granted this 2nd ftime replacement. The new replacement came in a retail box with charger and everything. However the "carbon gray" is significantly lighter than the two HTC 10s I had before. The volume buttons are also looser. At this point I am pretty satisfied with the new replacement, even though it is a refurbished phone.
so my advice to those who are or plan to undergo the uh-oh replacement process, make sure you receive a like-new phone instead of a used, scratched-up one, because I believe they do have a batch of these refurbished, like-new ones for replacement.

Color of the Replacement Note 7... Strictly the same?

Hi guys, another question here.
One of my worries is that it's hard to find a Black Onyx Note 7. I had to go through lots of troubles to get mine. My phone works perfectly and they want me now to exchange it. So it's stressful. I am like "Dammt, they gonna force me to another color". (in my country the gold and silver were mostly available. You had to order the black and wait 1 week to get it).
So when replacing your Note 7, what is their policy about the Color of the Phone?
- Do they force you to get only an available Color? Like: "Sorry we dont have it in black so it's gold only. Deal with it!".
- Do they exchange only with the same color? Like: "You're phone is black so you can get a black phone only!".
- Or is it total Chaos? Like: "Dude, I will check if there's a black one. If not you may get another color. Or wait a few weeks for the black one... Dunno, don't care"...
- Or is it Customer Friendly? Like: "Hi dude. Please enjoy this cocktail and warm towel while we bring you your new replacement Note 7... What color would you prefer btw?"
Tnx for answers!
They forced me to have the same colour that I already had (Black).
I wanted Blue. They said no.
I had blue and switched at the chrome color... Verizon store authorized the swap out... they said that there were replacing the phones with whatever color they had available... they just happened to have a bunch of silver ones so I wanted that instead of the blue
Sounds like yet again an inconsistent recall process. Depending on where or how you actually get to receive a replacement N7. The recall process should have been consistent and not this clustered mess it is. As I've said for a while now, there will likely be some big class-action lawsuits over this discombobulated process.
In terms of if you purchased it straight from Samsung. I believe it goes based off your IMEI. So if your IMEI matches blue note 7, it's blue. I'm sure that carriers will give you the option to choose whatever color is available
With T-Mobile when I went in I was told that I need to do a like color swap. (Had loaner phones at the time) If they did not have the color the color they could do a warranty replacement order and have it within 24-72 hours. I went in and they said they only had the blue, which was good for my wife, I really wanted my Note 7 back and they told me they would see what they could do. They came back out and said there was one black mixed in with the blues so we were able to get them both taken care of. They did have other people come in and were allowing them to switch to the blue if they pressed the issue.
Verizon asked me what color I wanted, I got the same but didn't think to try and get a different one. They held one for me and there were none left when I got there, so I would imagine if I asked for Blue but brought a black Note they would have given me the Blue.
BB wanted to keep the same colors, but would switch to another if they had them in stock. I got another black phone and my girl got another blue phone so we both happy.
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk
I have the golden one, looks fine to me, but I really wanted the silver one, lets see if my carrier is willing to change color with this recall, if not, i would gladly accept a golden one, but, by no means a black one, as all my phones have been black
I called my local Tmobile store the day before the official recall release. The rep indicated that they had just recieved a shipment but all of them were blue. They said I could come in and swap for a blue or wait until the next day when they were expecting a shipment of other colors.
When I first got my note I saw the blue one on display and I asked for the blue one but the Tmobile rep said they were very rare and I went with the silver which looked awesome too.
I didn't want to risk it so I went in and exchanged it for the blue one with no problems. I can't complain, I ended up with the color I wanted in the first place, I got it a day early and between the loaner and my replacement, I ended up with 2 SD cards and a Gear VR. Plus I got to play with the S6 edge for a week (I switched from Apple).
I could complain about the whole situation but I was very well compensated for all my trouble. Plus I love the phone and will never go back to Apple which I swore I would never leave.
What seemed to be a bad experience turned out for the best in the end for me. Darn, I even found a refurbished tmobile gear S2 for a hundred bucks and love it 100 times better than my apple watch or Android Wear watch! Not bad for 100 bucks and a bunch of free stuff from my exchanges. I'm one happy camper Samsung!
Yes it's been a cluster and yes I had to wait in line at Tmobile and yes I had to set up the loaner and then ship it back, but in the end the rewards were worth a little bit of my precious time and frustration.
T-MO Florida
Allowed me to change colors. But I have also been through 4 phones (3 pre hand grenade batch) and then my 4th I went back to coral blue. which is post explosion batch. I think it depends on 1. carrier and 2. The rep...
AT&T San Diego
I was able to swap my silver one for a black one when I traded it in. Wanted the Black originally, so I was thrilled.
Or is it total Chaos? Like: "Dude, I will check if there's a black one. If not you may get another color. Or wait a few weeks for the black one... Dunno, don't care"...

This was my experience at the AT&T retail store. That's why I got there early right when the store opened, and they had just received their shipments of new Note 7s.
I originally has silver. All they had in stock was blue. I wanted this color originally anyways so I picked it up
Switched color
Purchased at Costco in So. Cal. Returned the two silvers I originally got and got one silver and one black (which is what I originally wanted but they ran out). It probably depends on the vendor and their stock. If they are jerks they may not give you a different option.
Good Luck

Without the cocktail, and no warm towel either, though ....could've used a warm towel, it was freezing in that store

I am starting to have the same tendencies. I like the black Note 7 but, somehow the silver one seems legit.
I opted for the black one for increased general contrast when you stare at the screen, (not being disturbed by metallic reflections especially during the day), and the color of course is a classy, discrete.
But the silver one has the "gadget" look, the metallic "i am a pc" attitude of the color, and the sides metallic belt look way better.

Question Trade-in Questions

UPDATE: I received the trade in box yesterday.
The trade-in box is small and will only fit the phone. I've left the case on the Note 9 for a little extra protection along with the original plastic screen and back protector.
My obsessive behavior to keep every original item wasn't needed this go around since I didn't sell on Swappa. The Samsung Note 9 box and accessories will not be shipped.
I'm will try out the Samsung Dex which I barely used to see it it will offer any value with the P6P.
Thank you all for the feedback.

Original post:
I am doing the Google trade-in for Pixel 6 Pro and have not done a device trade-in before. I am hoping someone can provide some insight.
Q: How honest is the inspection process? I selected "to take the amount they offer" if not in the condition expected. I don't want to get screwed by this...
Q: Do I need to send my excellent condition Note 9 in the original packaging (which I still have)? Or, does this not even matter to the button pushers and screen checkers?
Details:
- $235 is the trade-in amount estimated for Samsung Note 9 512GB. (This is &145 more than Best Buy, and $175 more than Amazon.)
-- I can't unlock, root and TWRP due to v9 firmware. Also, no more One UI updates even though I always used Nova Launcher anyway.
-- I also considered Swappa but decided against it this time - I hate Paypal.
This Note 9 is in excellent condition. No scratches, dings, et al. Always in case and screen protector. It is re-packed in its original box with all original pieces, some not even used.

I am going to take pictures of the device before I send it in...I am also going to be sending it in, in the case I use with it...
I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and they are giving me $150 for it....figuring mine is not the 5g version and i'd be lucky to get $200 for it on Swappa..I'll take the $150 instead.
I wouldn't worry. If you're honest, you'll get what they estimated.

I took pictures too! I need to take one with the device on and will do so before sending. My trade-in kit shipped today.
Definitely honest. I take great care of my many Android phones over the years For potential re-sell or give-away to friends but this Note 9 is pretty flawless.
Never had issues with their trade-in, as long as you're honest it goes pretty smooth. They will send you a mobile shipping box with a label.
Pictures are a must and the trade-in's are convenient way to upgrade! I'm trading in my OnePlus8Pro and leaving the bootloader unlocked

Visit Swappa, see what your device in similar condition is going for.
If it's close to what Google is offering, go for the Google trade-in.
My Pixel 5 trade-in through Google was very close to what it's getting on Swappa, so I'm just sending it to Google.
Done! Swappa aligns - in same price range. (Now if OnTrac can just figure out how to deliver the new P6P. LOL)

I have never received anything from TForce that I am aware of.
Unfortunately, OnTrac routinely left packages anywhere they felt like it at the university where I work. e.g. out on public steps at the university, in the bushes next to random buildings, at Central Receiving locked door during Christmas break (big sign = WE ARE CLOSED. DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES). Public Safety fortunately found 25-30 packages left out / in the rain delivered over the Christmas/NY break).
We contacted our Amazon Business rep and Logistics team and told them to NEVER let OnTrac deliver any of the university's packages again and they complied.
So here's to hoping this wont happen to those with OnTrac delivery!
I'm pretty sure that this is the first time that I wasn't been sent a trade-in return box/label in advance, or asking with the new phone.
Had anyone received their trade-in kit yet?

No, not possible. The same is true with anyplace you get a phone from - you have to request a trade-in at the same time.

If I understood things correctly, the trade-in items (third party) are shipped separately from the Google stuff, and will arrive separately as well.
I believe you'll have 30 days from the time you get your new device to have the trade-in in the mail

Oh, reminding me to Factory Reset! LOL
I forgot about my trade-in kit. Just checked and it hasn't shipped but my phone just shipped today. Hopefully get it this week. "You should receive a prepaid Trade In kit within seven business days." If that's 7 days from "Trade In initiated", they're late. Not really surprising.
@johninsf - I have traded in all my previous Pixels, every time I got a new one. Never had an issue. Waiting for my Pixel 6 Pro and trade in kit to send back my Pixel 5... and I don't expect any issues either. As may have said above, as long as you're honest and ensure the device is reset, screen is good, you should be fine. Once they get the device, the inspection and refund is pretty fast to be honest - at least in previous years.
