Question PRODUCT_NAME-lahaina ?? - OnePlus 9 Pro

Hello,
After more than 10 yeas HTC I bought me a One+ 9Pro. Everywhere I read device name is lemonadep, bootloader says its a lahaina. Nowhere in the whole net I find that name, even not here in this forum. It came with Android 12 and even no TWRP available.
Am I the first or only man on earth with "lahaina" or what did I buy??

Lahaina is the Snapdragon board name, lemonadep is the device code name.
TWRP is not fully functional on OOS11 and won't even boot on OOS12. Instead each ROM dev posts a custom recovery image to be used to flash their ROM.

Ok, thx! HTC wrote device code name in first line of bootloader, I was confused...

[RECOVERY] M10 Generic, Lifestyle EU, Lifestyle CN TWRP Recovery Collection

Ok guys everyone has those problems like this so i decided to make a topic for this.
M10 has 3 different variants. So i decided to share correct recoveries for who have problems.
* M10 Generic.
Link : https://www.mediafire.com/?129g74h488m93gj
* M10 Lifestyle EU. (also known as Indian edition)(I dont remember cid and product id for this model. I was using for my M10 which I bought from Poland phone store. PS not suitable for EU operator devices. They are m10 generic. Not lifestyle.)
Link : https://www.mediafire.com/?e4jde0af1n9surr
* M10 Lifestyle CN. (also known as Asian edition) (Perfume, htc_pmec2tuhl, Espıcally for CID HTCCN701)
Link : http://www.mediafire.com/file/g9wb4e0eoh0qu5j/lifestyleCN.img
For people who doesnt know how to flash :
1) Unlock bootloader via HTC Dev method.
2) Connect phone via bootloader mode.
3) Open adb write following commands:
fastboot flash recovery recovery_file_name.img (Ex : fastboot flash recovery lifestyleCN.img)
4) If you want to open phone in recovery mode use menu from bootloader with your phone.
That's all voila !
Hi, Thank you for sharing this!
But this is completely in Chinese language. Do you have link for English one? I need it for M10 Lifestyle ( htc_pmec2tuhl )
EDIT::
Found how to get English.
1. You need to tap on: 设置 (Settings)
2. In settings menu, tap on last icon on top of page ( World icon )and change to English.
Thanks a lot for this post. I've been struggling for days to get recovery working on my Chinese HTC 10. After reading your post downloaded the correct recovery image, et voila!!
One question remains, after recovery is working, I can flash any rom, or also there I should be careful which one to flash? I tried Leedroid_10 V3.9.0 but it keeps rebooting into bootloader... Any idea how to fix, or what I do wrong? I have not rooted yet, and S-on.
Thanks
Robin.
Fine to have a working recovery but that's it basically for this HTC10 forum. Non of these roms here work on any lifestyle HTC10.

Info about new HTC 10 Please

Hello guys im a big fan of HTC using them from the last 15 years.
I moved yesterday from my belowed M8 to HTC 10 because i get a"Brand New"" Mint condition never used HTC 10 for exactly 200 USD and i saw its a super Offer for this Carbon Black device no single scratch still sealed
I cheked the phone and is writen to beb USA WWE Version Factorory Uncloked etc.
All work perfectly fine i chek it via HTC Diag and few more alternatives the only one thing bother me when im using a program to identify the device in Main bord is writen "QC Reference Phone" What this mean its that a normal?
The phone is 32GB Black Carbon USA unclocked WWE version i update it via the OTA to android 7 exactly the latest Security Patch is from September 2017 and the build of the android, 2.51.617.21 the official one since the phone was never Rooted or Unlocked Bootloader or S-Offed i have to do this this weekend)
so if you can give me more info about this will be perfect
Thank you in advance.
My other question is regarding the Unclocking things, since 10 is new device for me i will unlock the bootloader with HTC devs 1st then will install costum recovery and root it do i have to S-OFF it just to use a Custum ROM? like Viper and some mods all i want is to be able to flash Viper ROM plus Ainur Aidio Mod Sauron plus Infinity Sound mod by Zero thats it..
I know if i S-OFF it will be able to flash diferent RADIOS firmwares etc but in case im with the latest official Nougat firmware why i will need to do that? or do i really need it if i want to be able to flash only the above things i need.
Of course later with the change and OREO firmware update i will S off it anyway but do i need to do it right now what exactly i will be not able to do if im S-ON only the RADIO firmware?
THANK YOU much appriciete

Basicially S-OFF is needed if You want to change MID and/or CID to flash any RUU You want or, as You said, to be able to flash different firmware (older for example).
In matter of flashing custom roms, You don't need S-OFF to do this. If You have latest official Nougat firmware You can flash Viper ROM plus extras You have mentioned
Remeber one thing, before flashing first custom rom it's always nice and handy to perform backup in TWRP.
Quote from other post about "QC Reference Phone" - thanks to @tabp0le
They gave you a QC reference phone. It's a prototype for development. You need to report that user to ebay and get your money back.

I think the best way would be to contact HTC Support directly and give them all the details about phone
For all the people who wonder there is nothing WRONG with that and is not only ME also the thing about test unit or some kind of protoype is not true as well finally i have a chance to talk directly with HTC Tech support for many things including this QC Reference phone readin of the MotherBoard.
Also they did a nice lookup chek for me and told me the device i got is Perfect USA Factory Unlocked Aka Developers Device in perfect condition. And also that the dive is bought directly from them from the Official HTC site because they had it in the databes there when who and how did he get it.
Lets make it short here is the reason WHY this heppans and not only to me they are already familiar with that wrong reading.

Virginia P.: Great, Tsalta. Based on your IMEI number, I was able to check in my system that you have an original HTC Device manufactured in the US and bought through our website.
The message you are having is not an issue, your phone is in perfect state. The database of some applications does not have all the sub-versions of the processor references. The mainboard does not handle like in the computer that has apart ram processor and video. They handle something called SoC (System on a Chip), therefore the processor handles the whole system. But as there are so many versions depending on number of cores, type of video, amount of ram, etc. the application may not recognize the type of processor.
But, I promise you, there's nothing wrong with your phone.

Thats the answer its something related with the revision version Some programs read it on some devices some cant handle it BUT all the device are THE SAME.

Moto G8 Play TWRP and Custom Rom

hi, i wanted to ask you if the community is developing twrp and custom ROMs for this model. regards!
this is TWRPs official site, it can be a bit tricky to navigate as they use the internal codenames of phones for their device tree listings, but once you know what that is, its pretty easy to confirm or deny the existence of a TWRP recovery for your device.
EDIT: they actually use the name of the device the general public uses now along with the weird in-house name the mfg gives it. Man its been a while since ive been on that site. I guess i should root something then LOL
TeamWin - TWRP
This is the Team Win website and the official home of TWRP! Here you will find the list of officially supported devices and instructions for installing TWRP on those devices.

Tem como fazer root no moto g8 play lima ???

Question Bootloader unlock

How can I unlock the bootloader on a realme c21y
Seriously!!!!! Have you not read he other posts that tell you how????
Please search the forums before asking repetitive questions.
The mtkclient is a workaround tool for MTK devices If you have Qualcomm then you needto wait for realme to release it.

Unisoc processor
Edit: retracted
@MrMiyamo apologies didn't realise, you learn something everyday. Speaking to XDA seems we will be having a joint c21/C21y so wilL mean that when we post a method or twrp we will need to state if possibly will be on both devices or just one or the other
Does it make sense for the C21Y to share this forum? I'd guess some of the other realme MTK models would have more in common. Some C21 stock firmware has references to RMX3061 in the file name and that model is the C20. Anyway, all you can do is post which models are known to work and which are known not to.
BTW, except for dev work and testing are there any good reasons to unlock the boot loader yet?
I had brought issue up with XDA, due to the phone not being a big market share, that the 2 different phone models to share the same forums, I had expressed concerns that people may try to flash wrong firmwares etc due to different chips etc , so we just need to be careful as to what the title of each posts are and or the information in those posts.
As for bootloader unlock. Always a good reason, testing phone limits, trying to build new roms or recovery etc

Funnily enough, when I wrote that I didn't think I need an unlocked boot loader until some stable custom rom came out, but looking at all the different sites that my phone wants to connect to outside of the Googleplex I decided a few days ago that it needs a firewall on it to restrict outbound connections if I'm ever to use it outside my own LAN. It's seems preferable to me to run an iptables based firewall e.g. AFWall+ which requires root rather than the ones that don't and rely on the tunneling interface Android provides for user-mode VPN clients. Gaining root is also useful to back up all partitions of course and it seems the way to acquire root is best done through an unlocked boot loader and magisk.

In case I clearly understood from the comments, it works fine for oneplus 9 pro.
Is it possible to dig up that topic more deeply and make one solution for our device?
Can someone investigate the possibility of removing that stupid orange notification?
Thank you in advance for your answers ^_^

Well If someone will sacrifice his OP11 and be a donor i think we will know about it quickly - it will work or not. As for me it will be best option (to make better development) a release unbrick tool from every state - it will bring more brave power users and they test it. As we see there is a some differences across devices and some things may not work.
Anyway - there is something behind that "Orange state"? Or it is just cosmetic changes not affecting to device? It is only visual?
