Exactly no. For mobile phones, we can only flash different CSC, such as SM-9010(CHC)(Chinese mainland) can become SM-9010(TGY)(Hong Kong), but it cannot become SM-901B(Any CSC).

Na no problems with region lock. it might trip knox, mine was tripped at 2nd flash. You may have to flash more than once to get it working.
Anyone can help out?need this modem to flash .now im using miuipro rom,test the 2 versiin of it,but i have low connection on this custom rom.so i need to flash china rom modem to fix this.cause on china rom.my connection is strong.but on miuipro my connection become slow and flunctution.so i want use miuipro rom and only use china rom modem on it

after hearing about anti rollback i have a doubt regarding flashing roms.
1. could i flash any rom on miui 10 after boot loader unlock?
or
2. i have to flash only miui based rom or oreo based rom?
or
3.i could flash any oreo or above version i.e. pie based rom?
You can flash any custom ROM but don't flash any firmware (don't flash firmware)

All ROM required you to flash firmware, since you are already using latest MIUI ROM you don't have to flash any firmware
Flashing older firmware file will brick your device so it's better to avoid flashing any firmware file
