General EMEA build is meant for only these 6 countries in Europe - Google Pixel 6 Pro

So the EMEA build is for:
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Spain
UK
The other 38 countries in Europe should use the "Global" build.Google should really mention that somewhere.
The EMEA build is meant for countries/carries that officially support the Pixel devices.
Here is a list of those: https://support.google.com/store/answer/2462844?hl=en
Source: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/170122099/wrong-ota-update-pixel-6?hl=en

Update:
The build you get is based on the carrier that you're currently on. So if you're currently on a carrier listed for the EMEA build (carriers in supported countries in EMEA), you get the EMEA build. Otherwise, you get the global build.
The differences between builds are under the hood carrier optimizations.
You won't break anything if you sideload the wrong build, you can always swap between builds.
If you move between countries a lot, sideload the one for the carrier you use the most.

Is there any way to check what version should I use? I've sideloaded last builds and I dont know what version shoud I have.
I've checked here my 5G availability but i dont know if that means my carrier is supported although I have 5G based on that web. Currently using Vodafone in Spain and I think I should use EMEA but Im lost af.

What I undestood from first post and other sources was that EMEA builds depends of country and carrier, meaning there could be carriers in suported countries without support. Seems like I was mistaken. TY!

Understanding build numbers and changelists

I bought my Note 10.1 from Singapore and it has build P605XXUBMJ9. I live in Australia though, and use Telstra LTE network. My current build is listed as "XSA", or an all telco / generic build.
I noticed that there is a Telstra specific build at http://live.samsung-updates.com/inde...device=SM-P605. See Region = "TEL"
The build number for this is P605XXUBMJC
1) Which is newer / "better" – MJ9 or MJC? (assume "C"?)
2) Given that all the rest of the builds at that site are MJ9, and Telstra has the only MJC build, should I assume it is optimised for Telstra?
I guess this is really about what the specific telco builds do / have, vs the "generic" "XSA" builds.
thanks!

Is there any different in 3 OP3 models other than bands?

I found out there're 3 different models here.
North America model
Europe / Asia model
China model
Since we are close to China, I think I'm getting a China model. What's bugging me is I don't know if custom ROMs posted in OP3 Android Development sections will compatible with China model. I came from a device which have 14 different models with single-dual sim & regional mixed it's all so confusing that I ended up flashing incompatible ROMs several times. Can anyone help me confirm that please?
Just got my Chinese model today. Unlocked bootloader, flashed OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_011_all_1607052050_0e5983ace5314161 and rooted. Everything seems to work fine.
It came with Hydrogen OS (and full of Chinese crapware)

Could you flash a North American model baseband to test if the China model and US model are essentially the same? Both of the two are named A3000 after all.

As title says which version of phone should i avoid on fleabay as i want to buy this phone. No one seems to answer this specifically :/
thanks
bump
You need european version, so G710EM (64GB) or G710EAW (128GB)
i get that i need the european version but the american handsets will work too and i've been told to avoid the Tmobile version at all costs.
i just needed to now which is the best variant from the american/canadian ones!
cheers
Canadian AWM version. Support more lte band (for UK and Europe) then USA unlocked ULM
thanks siley
only g710EM
now im confused???
Get the 710em that's what I got when I brought mine worked fine
I told him EM or EAW is best for Europe, but he want model from America so Canadian AWM is better.
I got the LM-G710EM version

I think is a crossflashed device. Mine is EM too, but came with open EU rom and it is a TIM device (italian carrier). Amazon things...
U can flash any firmw u want with lg_up 14-15, but with no ota support due to restrictions. U can always search ur region with ur imei in internet after a simple search on google, but if the device is from carrier... I recommend u a clean open eu kdz over any carrier firmware.

Question OnePlus 11 Various Models

Hi,
I have tried looking on OnePlus official site and googling but im coming up with very limited info. Im in the UK and want a UK version with a global ROM.
I have seen that there is the CPH2449 is apparently the official UK version but also that PHB110 can work in the UK as it has global rom.
My question is, does anybody know or is there anywhere i can check the differences in models ?
Both the CPH2449 and PHB110 apparently come with the global rom so what's the real difference ? OnePlus recommend the CPH2449 variant but i can find the other much cheaper.
Cph2449 is global/eu and the PHB110 china model what have Stock cos installed and can flash to oos and have than no longer ander the PHB110 in the phone info than when you flash the global rom/eu rom than have it the cph2449 in the phone info

Just wondering as I notice India receives the updates alot quicker than the UK ROM, would the call block still apply even if a call is first made using UK ROM and then after install?

If you buy the China model, you must first activate it if it is not already activated, otherwise you will have a call block on the China model because it is used outside of China

Ok thanks for the reply and information.
You can buy it much cheaper and then:
Deal with call restrictions
Deal with bricking your device
Deal with losing both your IMEIs
All three are down to changing your ROM. I'm just astounded that you, as a UK citizen, are trying to save what amounts to two maybe three tickets to the cinema.
Good luck.

Im not bothered if i have to spend a little more, i simply did not know the difference, didnt realise all of the restrictions etc. The seller was telling me it will work fine in the UK and its cheaper. It would be silly not to look it up or ask.
PHB110: China
CPH2447: India
CPH2449_EEA: EU
CPH2449_GLO: International
CPH2451: North America
