I have the 1907. It was listed as unlocked/global and there's no tmobile branding or apps. Oxygen Updater app tells me it is 7T {India}. Is that the same as 'global?'. Do I need the India file or can I use the US boot.img?

Thsnk you. I absolutely read that wrong the first time. One more: Can I install the current Magisk or do I have to use the version that patched?

I'd love to see one. But we're short of devs especially from countries which need VoLTE.
And if you were following the other topic, exploring me as a potential developer to take over, I'm sorry to inform that there's no VoLTE here either...

So does it means, P2 also won't be getting VOLTE ?

Is it possible to extract the he radio image of stock ROM and put it into a flashable zip or IMG to flash over the custom ROM in order to enable volte ?

You act as if we are running a custom radio image on custom ROMs... we aren't.
In general, the radio image is, in 99% of all devices out there, always a unmodified one taken from the stock ROM.
In fact, most custom ROMs don't even touch / flash / modify the radio image in any way, LineageOS for example doesn't even bundle the radio image in the ZIP file, as it assumes your phone already has a working radio image installed (coming from a stock ROM).
So no, the radio image is not the issue at hand.
Baseband is a totally different thing.. and people are already messing their phones because of it by flashing things that is not supposed to be flashing. If VoLTE is not meant to be because they're two different models with two different network.. just let it be for now.

Official oreo flashable zip

For those who have stock rom with stock recovery
This is official oreo.zip you can flash it via stock recovery
Mod edit: Link removed
I didnt try it for now because i have custum recovery but i am waiting for your feedback
Come on...we've been talking alot about it on htc update thread...don't make a separate thread about it anymore please!
Sent from my HTC 10 using XDA Labs
There are discrepancies with the linked article: the download version doesn't match the version number listed in the article and I don't know what "OCEAN LIFE" is supposed to denote other than some internal/closed test build, not for release. It also mentions that it's being rolled out but htc hasn't announced anything.

Either they changed the article since you looked at it or something else - the version # is correct and the only mention of OCEAN LIFE is an ad for another article at the bottom. However, the zip file is useless. It is the exact same zip file (I checked the SHA-1 hash) that's extracted from the RUU exe, and it's been verified that even after flashing the new firmware, the zip doesn't work with the SD Card method. Always errors out almost immediately, perhaps due to it probably not being official (and related to HTC pulling the RUU exe).

Not a particularly good idea to post a link to a software that you yourself have not tried and have not validated. Plus, we have an updates thread in this forum for just such a topic. Thread closed.

Need some simple help

I've bricked my mate SE, I'm familiar with flashing but the name schemes from team MT is throwing me off. I bricked my phone when it was on EMUI 5.1.
From the Multi Tool it tells me I need 5 images. I can find 3 out of the 5, I'm missing the cust.img, and userdata.img(I assume this one is optional).
I've unpacked the UPDATE.APP files and can't find any that have a cust.img inside.
BND-L34CC567B330 (8.0.0.330) <--- Is this for EMUI8 ?
If so, where can I find one for EMUI5.1
I apologize if this are newby questions, Never worked with a Huawei before.

The full ota files are not really full. And you were on 5.1 so you should use nougat to unbrick, not Oreo. The version you mentioned you are pulling files from is Oreo.
You have two options as I see it.
Not sure how bricked you are so that makes it more difficult.
But search team mt for (bond-l34) you will find mate se nougat rom b130. And it should have all the images inside .
Other option is to use the images pulled from someone else's device. I have links to these backups. If you want

Thanks for the response. I'll give bond-l34b130 a try.
Can you provide link to the backups in case it doesn't work?
Oops, you updated your reply with the link. Thanks!

VoLTE on Q Beta 6?

Hey guys! I'm desperately trying to find a way to turn on volte on my device with my hungarian carrier Telenor Hungary. Officially, the device with Android Pie is not supported on my carrier. Perhaps on Q Beta 6?
Can someone (rooted on Q Beta 6) please check the folder below to see if it contains "Hungary" folder?
need root explorer
mbn files for Pixel 3 are in:
vendor\rfs\msm\mpss\readonly\vendor\mbn\mcfg_sw\generic\EU\Telenor\Commercial\
thx a lot
I have a pixel 3 xl on beta 6. Shows only this in the folder

That's bad news, but thank you. If not too big a request, could you upload the full mbn folder in a zip file?

Hello, could you (or anybody else) please show me all the files in there? I'm looking for anything Czech Republic, so probably in vendor\rfs\msm\mpss\readonly\vendor\mbn\mcfg_sw\generic\EU\... There are 3 VoLTE supporting carriers in the Czech Republic: T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone, so if there is anything about them in these files, could you please provide me with a screenshot as well? Thank you very much in advance.
I have a pixel 3 on Android 10. There are 2 mbn files on it.
1. vendor\rfs\msm\mpss\readonly\vendor\mbn\mcfg_sw\ge neric\EU\Vodafone\Volte\CZ\mcfg_sw.mbn
2. vendor\rfs\msm\mpss\readonly\vendor\mbn\mcfg_sw\ge neric\EU\DT\Commercial\CZ\mcfg_sw.mbn
Both are approx. 42 KB.
Unfortunately mbn_sw.txt file does not point to these files...

What's mbn_sw.txt? I'm new to Pixels so sorry about that. Shouldn't I be able to point it to these files with root (after I root my device)? DT is probably T-Mobile, as it is Deutsche Telekom, right? Thank you for your help so far.

Yes, DT is T-Mobile.
Mcfg_sw.mbn files are carrier-specific modem configuration files. And there's mbn_sw.txt file in vendor partition of Pixel 3. It is a list file that contains paths to mcfg_sw.mbn files, which can be loaded to EFS. Its contents depend on the Pixel 3 ROM build, so paths to mcfg_sw.mbns for czech providers should be added to current mbn_sw.txt file in /vendor/rfs/msm/mpss/readonly/vendor/mbn/mcfg_sw directory.
On Pie that modification was possible after root and with AVB 2.0/dm-verity fully disabled (ex. with Proton kernel) but on Android 10 it is impossible to manage the system partition . At least for now ...

Is it possible to downgrade to Pie, unlock bootloader, root, flash Proton kernel, edit the mbn_sw.txt file so it points to the Czech mcfg_sw.mbn, then flash the stock kernel again, lock the bootloader and upgrade to Android 10 without anything resetting the mbn_sw.txt file? Or is it due to reset when you upgrade from Pie to Q or in any other steps like locking the bootloader? Is it even possible to downgrade to Pie? Thanks a lot again.
EDIT: Or at least downgrade to Pie, unlock bootloader, root, flash Proton kernel, edit the mbn_sw.txt file so it points to the Czech mcfg_sw.mbn (and maybe then flash the stock kernel again and lock the bootloader), if upgrade to Android 10 would ruin it again? Just wanna know how far would I be able to get Thanks again.

Yes, it will ruin it. Any time vendor.img changes you need to reapply the change to the file. Only way it will work for now is if you run latest pie with the modified file. Until we can modify vendor partition on Q, you can only fix the issue with P.

Thank you so much! I'm new to phone modification and saw that other roms needed the gapps files, so I assumed this needed it to.
you can upload the file on another server
You can upload the file on another download server like google driver, since mega is limited for download, sorry for the English thank you.

I uploaded to Google and shared the link in op. Didn't realize Mega was limiting downloads.
FYI…Google has a quota for monthly file transfer too.
Hello, i am a new user. Can send a link from a guide to install this ROM? I have a lot of years without flashing a phone and i am nervious. I need to do a IMEI backup for this process?
hello, I hope this is finally the right place to look for a solution.
I'm looking for the stock rom for a Motorola moto g7, I installed lineageOs a few years ago and now I need to revert to stock.
After contacting Motorola support (useless), and searching through forums I found this link: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/motorola/river/official/ , but I'm not sure which version to install and how.
I also found other resources, can anyone tell me if they're legit? Thanks
- this one seems the easiest solution: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/motorola/river/official/
- and I found this other link on xda I think :
Motorola_Moto_G7_XT1962-1_RETUS_RIVER_QPUS30.52-23-13-4_CID50_10_by_(motostockrom.com).zip | by Five Corp. for /e/OS supported models

Thanks in advance for your help
