Hi, thanks for sharing.
Could you please tell me:
Which Indonesia ROM version did you installed?
And from which global version did you come from?
Thanks again

I've been using Indonesia for a while without locking bootloader
The last global global i used was V12.5.6.0.RKHMIXM
The Indonesia i used and locked bootloader on was V13.0.2.0.SKHIDXM

Tried to flash V13.0.2.0.SKHIDXM over V13.0.7.0.SKHEUXM but phone stucks on fastboot..
I think it's a anti rollback issue...
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to achieve the "migration" from latest EEA rom to indonesian rom ?

remove the check anti version from the bat file you are using

For some people, the solution was to copy the rom's folder to the miflashtool's folder and making sure the folder doesnt contain spaces
try this before removing the anti check lines

difference between Cina and global firmware (not rom)

Hi all. Does anyone could explain me the difference between the two firmware.
On xiaomifirmwareupdater.com there are both of them, but I haven't found what is the difference?
May I install a China fw on a global device or I will brick it?.
Tnx
It's safe to flash it. Xiaomi EU uses the China Beta ROMs and Globalized them to include other languages that would be in a Normal Global beta rom from Xiaomi...so with that being said I feel it's safe because if Xiaomi EU and Miroom uses the China Beta as their base then I assume that you flashing just the firmware will not brick your device.

Have you any idea where to find the differences?
Unfortunately not at the moment but I will look into it and get back to you if I find something.

Question is redmi k40 and poco f3 the same device? same custom recovery and custom rom?

or whats the difference?
Yes they are the same. Only difference is the MIUI that's bundled with it. All custom ROMs on this forum support K40 and Poco F3.

Hello
If they are the same is possible to instal the original MIUI ROM instead the MIUI FOR POCO?
hello!
Identical phone.
POCO F3 is just a rebrand of the Redmi k40 made for the global market outside of china (mi 11x is the rebrand made for the indian market).
The MIUI changes, precisely because they are marketed in different countries.
From what I have read it is possible to install Chinese stock roms on global phones (only with unlocked bootloader and being careful of the anti roolback) but not the other way around.
For castom roms there should be no compatibility problems, as for recovery. However in the thread of each castom rom it says in which phone it is possible to install it.

You can lock the bootloader only with the rom of the region the phone was born with. If when you bought it there was the stock india and you flashed the stock global, blocking the bootloader goes into brick. The bootloader can only be locked with the original firmware. make sure, when you block, that there is the original rom on the phone, if not, it goes into brick
good to know it, it should be written with big red letters!

It's quite interesting because with my old Mi9 I can swap regions even with locked BL but trick was with MI ASSISTANS or something like this (XiaoMiTool V2 software).
Is it possible with F3 as well? If not - why? Some kind of info inside one of the partition? Or because A/B system?

Personally i haven't tried that software to change region with locked bootloader, i can't tell you if it works or not.
However, I do not recommend carrying out any modding operation with a locked bootloader, it is very risky, and if there are problems it is very difficult to restore it.
Since unlocking the bootloader does not invalidate the warranty and is accepted by xiaomi, it is the best solution to carry out modding operations with the least possible risk of brick.

Question I changed the poco f3 stock Taiwan rom to the global rom, and then locked the bootloader

I changed poco f3 stock Taiwan rom to the global rom, and then locked the bootloader, and it works normally, but I see many people say that it will become bricked.

Question Locking bootloader on a different global region rom?

Hi,
I have the global variant of the xiaomi 13 pro. And want to unlock the bootloader to put a global EEA rom on to it.
Can I relock the bootloader in the global EEA? Or should I have it unlocked?
What is here the golden rule of thumb to follow?

If you have a global version (model 2201122G)
you can lock the bootloader.
Global is better than EEA.

So if I running the global version ROM, flash it to the global EEA, I can safely turn the bootloader on lock?

Waaauw I dindt know this!
So recap/summirized:
If you have a Global version (G), and running a Global ROM and unlock the bootloader and going to Global -> EEA OR -> INDIA OR-> Turkey ROM , I can relock the bootloader right?
Except, If you have a CN (China) version , going to Global -> Global OR -> EEA OR -> INDIA OR --> Turkey , Dont lock the the bootloader, only lock the bootloader on the CN ROM/Device,
There is another Devp. ROM Xiaomi.EU and there you can relock the bootloader after you flashed to this?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Exact except
"There is another Devp. ROM Xiaomi.EU and there you can relock the bootloader after you flashed to this?"
No need to re lock the bootloader (brick) or to root with a Xiaomi EU rom; the play store is certified and the banking apps work.

I choose Global ROM, If there is any update for the camera optimisation, it will comes first after the China ROM, then to the GLOBAL ROM.
But EEA has less adds.

Hi,
It seems to me that only 2 models exist:
Global 2210132G (with rom from different regions) CN 2210132C (only Chinese rom).
Check version: My phone/Detail information/Model.
Global devices - you must not lock the bootloader with a Chinese ROM or a custom ROM
Chinese devices - you must not lock the bootloader with Global ROM or custom ROM.

Question where's global rom?

where's global rom? not yet?
Wait for the release of the poco F5 assuming that the roms are compatible with the redmi note 12 turbo.

I see nothing to change on this file compared to the others, maybe an ARB problem, what is the version of the CN rom on the device?
Okay! Here's what I did to get it working!
When first flashing from Redmi Note 12 Turbo China ROM to Poco F5 EEA ROM, I used flash_all_lock.bat. This did not work. However, when I used MiFlash Unlock afterwards, then it booted!
Anyone trying this, please use the Flash_all.bat script or do what I did explained above.
At this point I can confirm that Poco F5 Global ROM works on Redmi Note 12 Turbo

You were lucky not to brick your device with Miflash using the flash_all_lock.bat file.
On a CN device always use the flash_all.bat file to flash a rom other than CN.

Yep, but you have to unlock the bootloader first then use Miflash.
Your phone will not be better with an EEA rom (rom for Europe), for example you will have a limited sound volume.
The best (in my humble opinion) are the Xiaomi Eu roms.
