anyone know the step to apply custom theme ?
cause I have been using the old method to install the custom theme on this magic UI but it doesnt work at all
You have to use Honor themes, Hauwei themes don't/won't work.
You still customize the same way and install the same way using the theme app.
anyone know where to get the honor theme ? besides in the Themes app? because the current default theme icon seems too big tbh
I've tried all hwt files and paste them in all honor folders whereas custom themes are not shown in theme app.
I bought this phone only for that to have custom themes and it seems that magic ui 6 is the issue

Found it bro, rename theme to hnt instead of hwt and copy it to android, data, hihonor.. Theme manager..... Themes

Themes with custom lock screen will work only if you install the engine that is attached. Delete files at the end .zip

1. Download zip of your choice and rename it to ui.zip
2. On SD card open TWRP folder and create folder theme
3. Copy ui.zip in theme folder
4. Restart phone in Recovery
Change background
1. Download background.rar
2.rename background your choice in background.jpg
3.background.jpg copy in ui.zip folder images
not suitable for Theme Dark & Light

test this .xml [deleted]
but there can be problems because buttons have different size and other space
edit:tomorrow will edit the Basic theme and make sense Theme with same button size

i think you can better redo it with that basic theme from 2.3.1.0
so we have the correct xml and fixes for the 2.3.1.0 recovery

i try it right away
keep up up the great work

not working it stays on the first background from twrp what coming up the first time when you go in to the recovery
and then it goes in a loop (did you try it yourself)
I like this theme very much, good job!!!
But can anyone confirm it works without loops or other errors?
Don't want to render my recovery unusable... Just being cautious here!

Found a nice tutorial about changing png's inside an APK. Been playing with that and replaced all the things out of an existing Sense theme into the rom I am using now, and it works

Just download the zip file extract them to your phone memory and move them to system/apps with the correct permissions

When you change the theme the livewallpaper color won't change
And you need root to overwrite theme with the new ones

Hi I exactly replaced new theme000.apk and others in their (system\app) folders and corrected permissions and then restarted my Z3 Dual, but unfortunately in the theme selection page of settings there was no pre Installed theme!
what was mistake?
I installed Xperia Live Wallpaper, new Home and boot animation successfully but not this one!

OxygenOS 11’s new OnePlus Sans font is now available to sideload via Huawei Theme app. Copy the desired font to Internal Memory / Huawei / Themes. Then go to Themes app, select Me then Text styles and use the one you like. Restart device if needed
Original ttf files were downloaded from this site, many thanks to ADEEL AHMAD for providing ttf font in first place
Fonts from my zip file are in hwt format and can be used on ALL Huawei devices !
