I'm about to buy oneplus 9 pro t-mobile version from ebay, I'm currently using mint sim which is tmobile mvno.
I'm using oneplus 7t global version, but I never used t-mobile version of android before so I'm little confused.
I heard that I have to unlock the network for using other than tmobile network, if I'm not a t-mobile customer how do I unlock the network, and I want to flash custom rom on it, so I believe I should unlock the network first than bootloader?

I have a T-Mobile Note 3 running on the latest stock rom N900TUVUFOB6 . I have rooted the phone and tried the Chainfire's Region Lock Away app but it doesn't work (I guess it doesn't work on newer firmwares and also I don't have a T-Mobile SIM)
I want to know a couple of things:
1. Can anyone recommend some reliable website where I can buy the unlock code for it. I've heard many of these websites are scams.
2. The previous owner of this T-Mobile Note 3 switched to MetroPCS and was using a MetroPCS sim in it, so now when I buy unlock code what to do I select (MetroPCS or T-Mobile) ?

I have searched numerous threads and questions regarding rooting OnePlus 7T here. I have a OnePlus 7T 1907 T-Mobile running on Android 12. The phone is already career-unlocked. I can also enable "OEM Unlocking" option from the developer mode. I have requested the bootloader unlock token from OnePlus/T-Mobile. I want to root it without converting it to a global variant. Later on, I'd like to unroot it and then lock the bootloader.
I have seen some people posting problems when converting it to a global variant and I'd not like to go this route. How can I root this T-mobile variant without converting to global variant?
I'd highly appreciate your help here.
