Question Xiaomi 12x Eea device issue with 5g network - Xiaomi 12X

Hello everyone.
Holidays and have time to make some tests in comparison with poco f3.
12x has issue in nsa connection.
Both devices on latest eea but f3 has newer baseband.
Both devices were tested at the same location, with the same carrier and the same sim.
F3 is really faster than 12x.
i am posting pictures from network monster speedtest and baseband versions.

Flashing the global ROM activate different network bands?

I see in a website (kimovil) that the Chinese and Global RN8pro have different 4G/3G bands suport (B2 and B4), this is true?
Are bands set in hardware or by the ROM?
If I flash a Global ROM in a Chinese RN8pro this will activate the diferent bands?

I know that the difference is small but again..why Xiaomi..
I have EU rom , because I am from Europe and the most band that we use is just that one that we dont have..

Question Mi 11X vs PocoF3/K40 for flashing Custom ROMs?

Hey guys, I want to know if there is any difference between the Global and Indian variant of the Poco F3 (Mi 11X)? Because I've faced several issues trying to flash any custom ROM currently available, as mentioned in a separate thread. Now that HentaiOS Devs have raised a warning to all Mi 11X users, I want to know if it is necessary to keep the development separate, as there may be firmware/hardware differences which could cause issues if ROMs are flashed interchangeably. On similar lines, can any Mi 11X users share their experiences while flashing custom ROMs, if they're facing any issues flashing or if there are no issues and their experiences have been smooth so far...

5G not working ?

Hi all
Yesterday I was in a city which has 5G coverage (according to Telstra). My phone showed 5G on the home screen but when i went into the available networks screen 5G was nowhere to be seen.
Ran a Telstra speed test and got 29.7Mbps which looks slow (i ran the same test at the same time with my wifes iphone 7 (which has no 5G) and it thrashed my Redmi K30 5G with a download speed of 97.9Mbps.

Does anyone know why the phone would be showing 5G on the home screen but not in the networks screen?
Maybe your mobile network has missed to naming their network names maybe the towers using 4G/5G signals but the name of it has 4G tag name
