On to Windows
Installed we have Win11 Pro.
Startup is typical new Computer all the Questions, where are you, and agree with what you will.
Bit of an update, and more questions..
Then another reset and yep you guessed it more questions.
Part of the deal of a new PC and Windows.
The Trigkey Speed 3 should have no issues running Linux either installed or from a USB stick.
Most if not all of thee mini PC's have become pretty good Bang for the buck.
If you need a small footprint PC that can do Most its really no No Brainer.
They can do a job with ease, sure they're not a beast for high end power.
They can do Most media files, all the social games and most hobby orientated things.
If you dont need a HIGH end Desktop PC with sqiudabytes of Ram and Video Card etc this is for you.
Home Office, something for Homework, Media server, Netflix and a like piece of cake really.
Lets have a quick look around.
As the hardware is pretty good, and Windows being Windows it will just work with most things.
As with Linux and good all in one small form factor unit.
Again it depends on the need of the user.
Will have a quick look at what it has and some of the settings.
Nothing set just Booted, what you see it what you get.
On to Windows
So after all the Questions:
What we have:
All Good here:

Next better check and do a bit of an update of the O/S
Few things to Download and updates, should not take that long.

Ainol Mini PC Review: Quadcore Windows PC and Powerbank

Hi all,
I’ve completed my Ainol Mini PC review and found it to be an excellent mini PC. You can get one from GeekBuying.

Technical Specs
Chipset: Intel Baytrail quad core processor with Intel HD graphics (Z3735D)
RAM: 2 GB DDR3
Storage: 32GB eMMC + microSD slot up to 128GB
Video & Audio Output: mini HDMI 1.4, 3.5mm Audio
Connectivity: 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
USB: 1x USB 3.0 port, 2x USB 2.0 port
OS: Windows 8.1 with Bing (32-bit)
Other Features: 7000mAh Internal Battery
Unboxing and Performance Demo
Key Highlights
Ainol have provided almost everything in the box you need to get started. The only real gap is the lack of the USB 3.0 OTG cable.
Build quality of the device was top notch. The entire case is made entirely of metal.
Booting was fast at around 17 seconds for a cold boot and resuming from standby was instant.
Windows 8.1 is fully activated, so no concerns about getting a "trial" like has happened with some devices.
Kodi ran brilliantly. Video decoding was also pretty impressive, however, more demanding codecs caused the device to choke. Automatic framerate switching worked perfectly.
Gaming performance was respectable given the GPU on the processor. I found Beach Buggy Racing was excellent on maximum settings whilst Asphalt 8 was still playable.
I didn't have any issues connecting up my Bluetooth controller for gaming.
Wifi performance was good and there was ample bandwidth to support streaming over wifi.
The USB 3.0 performance was disappointing, with my USB 3.0 drive taking a 50% hit in performance. I'm not sure whether this can be rectified via driver updates.
The in-built powerbank should be good for around 40 hours of unplugged usage and can be used to charge devices such as iPhones.
Verdict
I really liked the Ainol Mini PC and found it to be a real bargain for its price. It's exceptional build quality and solid performance were only really let down by a poor USB 3.0 implementation and not including the USB 3.0 OTG cable.

Hello DarkscytheX,
Just thought I would post that I've attempted to purchase one from the presale at geekbuying.
I recieved an email this morning though, that I would have to wait since shipping will be delayed longer.
I probably would have waited, but when I clicked on the link in my email:
"geekbuying.com/item/Ainol-Windows-Mini-PC-Intel-Z3735F-1-83GHz-2G-RAM-32G-ROM-WIFI-7000mAh-Power-Bank-OTG-Bluetooth---Black-342071/"
I found that GeekBuying has changed the description of the Ainol PC.
I've ordered the pc you have reviewed with a z3735d chip and usb 3.0 support, NOT z3735f.
The link no longer shows the original Z3735D I have purchased, so I am trying to cancel the order.
I think other websites are changing it to an "e" or an "f" also.
Thanks for the great info. I really looked forward to the usb 3.0. Maybe that is why it suffered such a performance hit in the review.

How Audible is the fan, In a dead quiet room you can hear the whir of the fan, and it is at a constant, does not appear to get louder when the CPU is under stress
The supplied unit is installed with 4GB Ram and 64GB Msata, and can be upgraded to 8GB ram and with the Msata going to just about any size I believe, also we have room to fit a HDD in the Base as required.
I have a spare SSD kicking some place once found I will install, at the present this will just be the Base unit test.
Typical Windows 10 startup add location name etc a few minutes and into windows no problems found.
Connected to Wifi 5GHZ easy, Bit of a Windows 10 update and away we go.
Basic Information all Ok, fully usable Windows 10 HOME 64bit.
Ethernet Connection very good from this location
CrystalDiskMark speed of Ram and mSATA OK
The Vorke V1 does not claim to be a Games machine so this test were run just to see how it would run under pressure
A Handy Intel Unit, yes it has a fan but not that bad and for the Price and eace of use not to bad at all
I will do some video test etc, Kodi, Plex etc its Kodi is more Intel friendly and most will work some
Fun and games with the 4k stuff but we shall see
If you need a second Desktop for work,or School work Ideal
Update Ram to 8gb mSATA to 500g and install a HDD or SDD up to 1TB so good hand value box.

My Vorke V1 also has arrived. Amazing little computer. It supports 2560x1440 Pixels over HDMI 1.4 what is great.
What is quite interesting though, the Intel Celeron J3160 is supporting up to 2.24 GHz in Turbo Mode (but according to the Intel specification, the CPU does not seem to offer Turbo Mode). Very strange but as long as the little computer can do better than mentioned in the specs, fine with me.
The 4GB RAM is no shabby one either, it is a PC3-12800 (800MHz) one also made in my case by A-Data Technology, same as shown in the previous posts. Vorke seem to pick quality components and this is great to know, too.
And all this for 199 USD including the Windows 10 Home Premium 64 bit OS, that is quite a steal. What also impresses me is the quiet fan. There is a constant wooosh coming from the little box, nothing annoying at all not disturbing (less annoying than a notebook fan), no high pitched speed changes, nothing to worry about, simply a constantly spinning and almost quiet fan, this is much better than expected and also a very pleasant surprise.
Would I recommend the Vorke V1? Yes, absolutely, solid, low noise and good performance, perfect for home office and as a surf station, simply great. This is, by the way, also a great little computer for people on a budget. Add a screen, even an old VGA one, a mouse and a keyboard and off you go. Perfect, also for countries that could not afford high priced hardware e.g. in a class room configuration.
What I also noticed regarding the power supply, mine came with a completely different lyangel AC adapter, model LY036SPS-120300W3, rated at 12V 3A. The power supply does not get hot at all.

Hi!
Has anyone done some Fan Mod on this? the tiny fan can get a bit loud for using it as a quite mediacenter, and for now I just opened the bottom and place the box under a big laptop cooling fan.
I was wondering if anyone already tried to put a 120mm fan on the bottom.

HYSTOU FMP04B Fanless Mini PC - I3 4010U (4G+64G)

I have on of these not so little unit to have a look and a fiddle
HYSTOU FMP04B Fanless Mini PC - I3 4010U (4G+64G)
It does come in other flavors Bigger Cpu etc and you can upgrade ram, mSATA and add your own HDD or SSD.
Device is not supplied with a Licenced Windows.
Once ran up it had a version of win10 that I was not happy with so I dumped it for now and went the Win7 Route for a bit of a fiddle and ease it into a win10 update later
To me it appeared sluggish with the win10 that was on the unit, going to WIn7 things pick up.

The Hystou Fanless is snappy to operate,
Wifi and Ethernet speeds all appear good at present with dloading bits and pieces,
More Ram will be added but as It only has One Memory slot, so out with a 4 and In with and 8GB
The mSATA being 64Gb will also be replaced with a 128GB or larger, and you can add a SSD or Normal HDD internally
I see a Second PCIe slot for another mSATA.
As Mentioned the HYSTOU Fanless is more of a box for an enthusiast, a Basic Box no this is far from Basic
6 Com Ports handy for all kind of enthusiast stuff,
8 USB ports 4 x USB3 4 USB2 crazy stuff but always handy.
2 x Intel GB Lan ports and Wifi

Also have a small Brick Power Supply and Bits to complete the power up.110~240, 12vdc 3amps

Pass mark Rating, this unit does not clame to be a Games Machine, these scores are just for the sake of showing the unit doing something.
Very good test.
I want to know two things:
1 - Wake on LAN is possible with the LAN ethernet card via Bios activation?
2 - the bloc doesn't burn a lot?
Thanks.
The Block is very cool, warm if that
I don't use the wake on lan, I do see many options in Bios for this option to enable disable.
warm if that? what?
there is ZERO NOISE with that Mini pc?
Why there are a lot of RS232 ports? for what kind of use?
Using 2 mSATA cards.
Hi, I'm looking to buy a HYSTOU FMP04B thanks to its 6 RS232 ports.
But I ahr another question. Looking at the pictures you can see that it has 3x PCI-E ports, one used for network cards, one for the 64GB mSATA. Can I use the third slot for an additional mSATA card?
Have a thought in the back of my head that I read somewhere that your computer can handle a mSATA memory cards.
Anyone know if it is possible to run two mSATA card ..

Well to Windows 10 or not that is the question,
Nope Windows 11 it will be win10 Update restart update, not today
Downloaded Win11 ISO
Rufus to a USB STICK
Boot USB wipe M2 all data, Installing ( mistake for drivers)
3 minutes first reboot and Getting ready, Sweet
Further 2 minutes later win have win11 and the setup.
Much the the same as Win10 startup but its Win11 moving forward not sideways (maybe)
Win11 is ok have it on a couple of other devices,
Always some teething problems with MS$,
Further 8 minutes and singed in, told MS no I don't want your stuff as in office, one drive etc etc.
But it will still show up again not sure why they bother to ask.
Further 1 minute or so and Win11 installed and running to easy and activated.
Now to Debloat and get it how I want
Only harp is MS$ moves stuff around and need to do a bit of searching to find.
A few Windows items to update, easy
Windows needs a few drivers and Bits, I guess doing the Upgrade instead of fresh install would have been easier but no guts no glory.
Well messed up a little.
After installing the NEW ISO Win11 and thinking it would find all I was wrong.
Should have backed up the system 32 with the .inf and stuff, it took a bit longer..
But our good friends at Beelink had all the drivers and saved my butt

Fresh install is always good, it always ensure the purity of what is installed, and drivers.
Can test 100 of things but time is limited.
Windows being Windows most things work as expected.
Great office PC.
Pretty good at Most Games.
Over kill maybe for a Media Server.
Hardware looks good as does packing with a needed beefy Brick Power pack.
Running the Tress test there was no Excess/Loud fan noise you could here them but not too annoying.
Supplied with known brand Ram and NVME is good, but each has their own preference.
Cmos has many function to Up the Power usage and zillion other thing to tweak.
Just as well it has the CMOS clear button on the front case is all I can say.
Spending $$$ on such a unit would be up to the individual if they need or want (never an excuse here want is always good)

Hey, how is your Bluetooth working? On my device it's very unstable, I'm sitting like 3m from my PC and when I connected BT headphones its very choppy, unstable connection. Did you noticed anything like that? I'm on latest BT/WiFi drivers from intel.
