Question does trying to boot a recovery.img through fastboot boot option trip knox? - Samsung Galaxy A32 4G

hey there. i own a Galaxy SM-A325F/DS.
i have a recovery for this phone that i found however since this phone is still untouched i first want to make sure that the recovery boots at all. will using the command "fastboot boot recovery.img" trip knox? i don't think so since it wont modify internal system files but still i just want to make sure. thanks!

Samsung phones don't have fastboot. They have Odin to do the flashing for them. And if you flash anything that is not official by Samsung then yes, it will trip Knox

kernel is not seasoned

Okay, need some help. Been using a nexus 4 for awhile and purchased a used s4, well I was trying to root it, and install custom recovery. I was able to install clockwork mod and I can boot into it. I can also boot into download mode. The phone will not boot into a rom , I get the following message "kernel is not seasoned" .
In odin I see the "know warranty void: 0x1" I have no issues with voiding a warranty,
What can I do to get a stock rom and be able to root the phone?
Load rom through clockwork recovery onto sd card? If so how do I do it?
ODIN?? to stock? tired one and md5 sum error.
Any input is needed

[Q] 4.2.2 Roms after Knox is tripped?

So I recently used CF Autoroot to root my T-Mobile GS3 SGH-T999 and I heard that if you try to downgrade to android versions before 4.3 your phone will be hard bricked. So with my knox counter tripped I was wondering can I flash a rom that is on 4.2.2 I want to flash the MIUI rom. Thanks in advance.
You can flash any custom Rom via Custom Recovery. Nothing bad will happen as they have only Rom and Kernel.
However just never flash Pre-4.3 Samsung firmwares via Odin. Those contain the older bootloader. If you tried to flash older bootloader, you get hardbrick.

I know to get rid of the trip count I used triangle away. I installed, opened the app, followed the set up, reboot and count was back to zero.

Flash anything through ODIN will trigger knox. Which is interesting since you have CWM, and that requires ODIN... Are you sure you phone has KNOX?
And to answer you other question, yes CWM can flash almost all custom/modded ROM.
If you have cwm you can flash any rom

if you tripped knox it'll show up in the download mode, not only in the system on stock

You actually did trigger Knox then, probably. Boot into download mode (hold Vol-Down and Power during boot) and look at the like that says, "KNOX WARRANTY VOID". If that line says 0x1, you have triggered Knox.
That said, triggering Knox isn't so bad. You can still install custom ROMs, and yes, you can flash the one in your link. You should back up your stuff and do a full wipe when installing it though.

Custom Recovery Without Tripping KNOX?

Quick question for anyone that may be more familiar than I am with the KNOX implementation in the Note 8.0 KitKat bootloader.
I know there are methods to root without tripping KNOX now but was wondering if booting a custom recovery (fastboot boot recovery.img) trips the flag or only actually flashing the recovery image. Also, would updating the boot or system partitions with an unsigned image trip the warranty flag even if rooting and booting a custom recovery didn't?
It's too late for me but if there is a way to install custom kernels and ROM's without tripping the KNOX warranty flag I'm sure there are others on these forums that would be interested.

Nevermind.
Since apparently Samsung devices can't boot a custom recovery without flashing it (no fastboot support) my previous question is irrelevant.

Knox Warranty Void 1 (HELP !!!!!)

Guys,
I have not kept up with Samsung phones and am totally lost. A friend brought me an ATT Note ii that to their knowledge had been rooted. When they tried to do an OTA update, it screwed up and now when i go to download mode, here is what is says:
ODIN MODE
Product name: SGH-I317
Custom Binary Download: YES (10 Counts)
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1
RP SWREV: A2
When I try to load a stock rom via Odin, it will go all the way to the end before it errors and show in Red "unsupported"
I would appreciate any help you have on this. I am totally lost but if anyone can fix it, you guys can, Thanks in advance
after doing a little research, i was able to load TWRP recovery, a pre-rooted stock rom of 4.3 and the 4.3 bootloader all though ODIN and got the phone back up and running. My next question is, with my knox warranty showing 1, what are my options as far as roms go? Am i stuck with the stock 4.3 ?

There are 4.4.2 ROMS in the Android Development threads. Remember to do backups before flashing

I'm in the same boat here...would you mind telling me how you were able to do this, and specifically, where did you find the rom and bootloader downloads?

If you can get into download mode, can flash 2.8.1.3 twrp via Odin.
Download the latest TWRP from here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/t0lte
Copy a custom ROM to your external SD card.
Flash TWRP via Odin. Boot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wipe system, flash ROM from external SD card, reboot.
