Question Mobile data disconnects every 25 seconds - Samsung Galaxy A32 4G

Hello
I have a issue on my phone
I rooted my phone with magisk a few days ago and now it has a large issue.
Every 25 seconds, the mobile data shows a cross with a circle. This issue happens about 10 seconds. Then it returns to normal. And then the same thing happens.
It showed IMEI unavailable in my phone settings. Then I typed "chmod 550 NVD_IMEI" and then the issue began.
How do I fix it
Video is down below:
I use the SM-A325F with Android 11
Can I just fix it by flashing the pit file?
Your browser is not able to display this video.

i am apparently facing the same problem on the newest firmware which is A325FXXU2BVG3. I switched to a GSI because this problem was getting on my nerves. this problem doesnt exist in GSI so its a bug with samsung's own firmware.

Is the 25 seconds mobile data issue also happening to you? Or does it happen permanently?

my mobile data only dies when i hit it with a load e.g. a speed test. and sometimes it dies randomly. its not permanent. calling works fine. when i hit it with a load like loading images the service just goes away permanently for 5 seconds and then comes back. and this keeps repeating.

Should I try doing a nand erase in odin or will it erase imei entirely?

i am sorry i have no such expirience. i dont know what will happen. i am currently just using crdroid 8.8 bgN since that fixes my issue. i have accidently erased my imei before but i restored it by deleting my efs partition then factory resetting (WONT RECOMMEND AT ALL. IF YOU DO THIS DO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND BACKUP THE EFS PARTITION)

Nand erase also didnt work, idk what i should do to fix the issue. The thing is if i call someone, i only can call them for 25 seconds before the mobile data disconnects which is stupid.

Hey I just noticed gaming performance on crdroid is terrible for this phone. I switched to arrow OS. And God demn.. ITS SMOOTH. THE UI ITSELF IS SMOOTH I have yet to check gaming performance. The customization feature ain't that much but this is amazing. If you want to get a lil bit smoother expirience then switch to this GSi. The download link is same as above Just go to files tab AUG-v415 arrow os.

Oh yeah I am downloading a very heavy game. It will probs take a lot of time (thanks internet) so I'll update here once I test it out. otherwise I'll go back since crdroid had more customization and it also had a game centre that showed fps, changed performance mode and more.

Hey I am back. Sorry for the wait. I didn't test the big game it didn't download yet. But I did test COD Mobile and it works great. Since my phone is rooted I installed gl tools and faked my device unlocking alot of graphics settings. I set all of em to high and the performance is good. I haven't tested with genshin tho. The only thing that makes me sad is that this GSi doesn't come with game space which is included in crdroid. Even tho it's supposed to come with latest versions of arrow os. Although I guess you could install a port and get away with it. Anywho I guess you can test It out for yourself. I'll install a fps counter to check for fps lag too. also I don't know about fingerprint. MY PHONE'S SENSOR IS PHYSICALLY BROKEN so I can't tell since in Samsung stock firmware it doesn't work sooo. Another thing again that this ROM doesn't come with face recognition although I installed LSposed and then installed a module to fix it. Works just like crdroid. Soooooo if you want it tell me and I'll post the links along with instructions.

My congrats for the great autonomy ?
The info you've sent are not enough to analyze your reboot issues.
1) Have you rooted your device?
2) If yes, are you running SuperSU, Kingroot, Phh's Superuser? What version?
3) What the apps that are getting root permissions?
4) Are you using Xposed? What version (e.g. v86.6 systemless with Magisk v8, the v86 stock)?
5) Have you tweaked or replaced the stock kernel?

Much strange.
I'm having an heavily modded OP3 with OOS v3.2.7, never encountered instability.
You should try factory reset asap, there's nothing you may do, since device is completely stock and works for most users.
I can't give you more help, sorry ?

Not, because OOS is working well for most users, so there is no "fix reboot issues" in any todo list.
Go with factory reset, when you find the needed time.
If problems still persist, contact OnePlus and explain the issue.
I think that some upgrade maybe the cause of your troubles, due to massive change of stuff that the end-users can never see.
You know that Samsung updates often make device slower or keep crashing some system app?
Why excluding that OnePlus have done (involuntary) the same?
Updates are not always guarantee of stability, especially with firmware different than Google stock.

Seems to be an issue with OOS, I had the same problem, and flashed MIUI 8 and had 0 reboots. But when I flashed Fredoom OS based on OOS 3.2.7 my phone kept rebooting.

Are you using a case? I had a cheap eBay clear case on my phone and it wasn't moulded properly over the power button, there was no indent on the inside for the button to sit in so it used to turn off in my pocket and back on later and produced battery graphs similar to yours.
Hope this is a help.

Did your problem solved? I am having same problem.
I have the same problem. I am currently on 3.2.8 and also had this problem on beta 9. Few days ago it happened in front of me, the phone was on the desk nothing running in the background. That was kind of the soft reboot, didn't triggered my locked sim, (my sim card is locked needs to enter PIN when phone startup) and after that I checked Settings=>About Phone=>Status, the uptime didn't affected too, seemed nothing was happened. I think this also happened to some other people but they just didn't realize it.

Try using non 4G/LTE SIMS.
I am facing the same problem.
My device is at service center.
Day one:No reboots.I asked them to put some SIM & then check.
I did that after reading your post. No luck. Are they replacing it? How many days since it is in service center?
Facing problem from last 2 weeks.
I submitted once last week. They clean flashed older rom.Worked fine for one day, then reboots started again.
Then this technician had remote session and flashed the rom OnePlus3_16_A.17_161118(OOS 3.2.8):Reboot frequency went too high.
Had to go to Service center for diagnose. 2 days now.No proper response from them.
I had the same issue from several days now, wiped cache, did factory reset, wiped data, nothing worked, I read somewhere that let battery drain down to 0 and then full charge removes electricity or static from the phone, and that may cause random reboots, gonna try that

Seriously? That sounds like one of those hilarious Microsoft Answers sort of posts! Running the battery down will not get rid of "electricity or static from the phone", apart from anything else the battery protection circuit would not allow the battery to drop to zero volts as it's not good for li-on batteries.
The Oneplus 3 seems to like to soft restart, mine sometimes decides to do it 3-4 times a night (rarely during the day) and then is fine for awhile. Tell tale sign is the battery graph showing large gaps in the usage pattern. I would suggest that there is an inherent firmware issue judging by the number of people reporting the same issue on a number of different forums.

Phone shuts down abnormally.

Guys I don't know if there's something wrong with my phone or not. Whichever rom or kernel I try, there is an abnormal shut down of my device. Like I'm using it and I leave it for a few minutes or so and it shuts down. I'm not sure if it had something to do with deep sleep or anything, but I need help. Please guys anyone
on custom kernel, random reboots may happend when
1. trying disconnecting whatsapp call
2. trying disconnecting gsm call
can you plug in audio jack to earphone and notice the device? (a strange excersize but worth trying)

Yes, When audio jack is plugged in I did notice a reboot, however, noticed a reboot without it being plugged as well.
Nothing with calls.
I just let my phone sit for a while and it shuts down. I have to power it up again. When I'm using it continuously it doesn't do that. That is why I'm skeptical if it is related to deep sleep somehow.

lets step back for a moment
if you are on MIUI10, or Miui 9.6.x
do you experience the same with your phone? if yes then you should take it up to the dealer and have it replaced. if such doesnt happen on MIUI then its some APP conflicting with your rom or kernel. try to list / think all such apps which may have given root access indefinately.
whatsapp on custom rom makes device act funny ( I experienced it many time) so does few repost apps (instagram)

Actually I'm not using miui since I unlocked my BL and it had been months since I've been using custom non miui roms. This just started recently. I get what you're hinting at, but I don't think there's something wrong w the hardware but I can't be too sure.
Anyway, yes about the apps, it did occur to me that this might be the case. So I simple wiped my device internal(don't use sd card) and wiped all system, data and everything to install a new custom rom. After setting it up, I left it for a few moments and it shut down again (had not yet installed any of my personal apps, just the regular gapps

Thanks for all your effort, the problem seems to have resolved on its own. I'm not sure what it was.
now it's happening to me but it's much more severe. First it started slowly now it's so frequent that the phone might shut down even on boot. This is really frustrating.
I had the same problem with my redmi note 7, flashed stock rom with MI flash tool, fixed everything for me

What can I do with this laggy s9?

Hi everyone,
I bought this phone 2 months ago and from the start, I felt that this one is too much laggy for a 700+ dollars device from Samsung...
When I bought it, it was running on Oreo, and there were already two big problems : the delay between the moment when I pressed the lock off/on button for lock the device and when it really lock on, and the fingerprint sensor was too long too...
Each of these simple actions took to the phone around one seconde to be done...
Recently I decided to flash the last pie version on my s9... What a mistake : it is twice more long than before and my phone unfortunately gain another lag : when I switch from app to another one, animations and delays are very laggy, I can see some frames be skips everytime...
So I need your help guys... I'm ready to flash another unofficial rom that can be faster than official... I need this phone to be as fast as it should be... Even if I have to root it.
Lower your standards, 1 second is not a "long time"
Thanks for answer.
Yes I know, but 1 sec was before pie update, now it take 2 sec for lock and around 3 for fingerprint unlock.
Is there a special rom for s9 that do miracle ?

A miracle ROM?
Factory reset after updating to Pie, you need to do that to remove bugs left behind from Oreo

This does not help the OP
Ever upgraded Windows? Some people have no issues, some people have lots of issues, a clean install solves the problems left behind from the upgrade
Same with Android
Install an aosp rom, very smooth and almost no lag ! The battery is also so much better

But then why would you buy a Samsung Device if you install aosp
Id go for oneplus then
@ArgentTay this seems to be a hardware issue, if I were to guess it's your processor that's throttling.
A few things I would try:
Factory reset
Reflash ROM - this is the best bet
If after reflashing the ROM you have the same issue, I would try to return the device
for samsung devices there aren't the modder of some years ago... finished the years of many roms like samsung s5 or s6 devices..... the actual users with this phone keep original rom and don't mod ever... i see many posts of users that evidence lags, problems, bugs, but those posts are read but without answer.
when a user evidence a problem, many users don't accept problems.
galaxy s9 is better than s8 for lags, don't worry.....
perhaps for having a phone without lags we have to wait for s10 but i say so from galaxy s4......

I had to stop and pull over my car to write this reply. What a bunch of BS you wrote. Posts like this (and some above it) are utterly dangerous for the scene and for people who don't watch the scene. There are many very talented developers here.
In regard to OP and the second post of this thread: 1sec lag is not normal at all. It is unacceptable, such behaviour is everything but ok. My S9 has no lag, has instant response and lightning fast startup and app switching, animations, everything. I am using Soldier ROM (touchwiz based) on my S9+.

Dear OP: try this rom. In the installer, select the option that wipes everything but the SD card, then select no root. After installing, install the firmware and you can also root using Magisk if you wish. That way you are guaranteed to have a rock stable and lightning fast system with zero lag forever.

You are the one that I'd waiting for.
I'll try this at afternoon, and if my phone still be laggy, I'll conclude that its an hardware issue...
Sure, just don't forget first in TWRP to erase boot, system, cachce, dalvik cache internal storage and FORMAT data. If it lags after flashing this, it's bad HW so you are at bad luck.

I have just two questions : do I need to install twrp (so root my phone btw) for installing this rom ? This rom allow us to pass knox in 0x0, so if I flash it, and if my phone will be root, could I use NFC payment ?

Yes, you need TWRP. I am using google pay with root, no problem. Not using Samsung pay, and afaik it won't work with knox tripped.

Motorola G5G Plus Android 11 Problem

Hello
Before few days ago, i received official ota update to android 11 of my motorola g5g plus.
I was very happy, that finally the android 11 is here and immediately updated my device(big big mistake)
After the update process, my phone start to be more and more laggy.I use it only at 90hz refresh rate and sometimes when i use it is goes on frames, which is madness..
I am really unhappy about that..I don't want to factory reset my phone.
Any possible way to resolve this lag issue or return easy to android 10 and never update again?
I do not play games or other heavy stuffs..
just ebay calls browsing nothing so heavy...
ideas guys?
You could use the Moto Flash Tool to flash the latest version of 10 - note that you'll (very probably) have to do a data wipe when asked to avoid problems afterwards.
To be sure, I'd check with @vache as to whether a downgrade is possible, but I don't see why not.

Check in settings for blur, and turn it off and see if that helps. Sorry, I don't use stock so I'm not sure exactly where it is. Developer settings maybe, or display

Sad news again.Phone become laggy again even on only 90hz refresh rate with turned off blur.Yesterday the phone work fine, today i woke up and surprise lagging on normal stuffs like scroling across the screen or open menu app and etc.I am almost sure that it run on less than 60hz.Absolutely dissapointing....

i would just recommend switching to GSI at this point if you really want the mobile data back. i dont think this is going to be fixed till the next firmware update. GSI fixes this. i am personally using crdroid 8.8 it works the smoothest out of all of them. the battery drain is an issue but i can live with it. i dont think samsung is going to push out a firmware update soon. i bet they dont even know this issue exists in the firmware. this is why i never wanted to go with a midranger from samsung. they dont care about us. well.

For the battery drain you can try reset battery info with ACC, stratophere x performance or root essentials (deprecate)

What did you do? it made my imei dead but the tutorial fix it.
Did you put the imei folder in RO and activate offline mode and flash stock?

I fixed it by installing a custom rom.

of course,
ACC u just have to select the number on the CLI, juste type acc on termux and select the option (if u have unzip error with the module, just unpack and repack)
Stratosphere : The module, just type su -c strpmenu in termux and choose the option for reset battery
Root essentials : The app, just install it and select the option
I think the best and easiest way is Stratosphere
(For all of this, you need to charge your phone at 100%)
