[Moto G5] Firmware upgrade for Lineage ? - Moto G5 Questions & Answers

Hi
I am running Lineage OS 18.1 on my Moto G5, and I have not been able to update it for a few months. I am stuck with 2022.02.03 build, and any update since that failed. Here is the error message I get when I try:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It seems that I should upgrade my firmware in order to get newer updates. My questions are pretty simple:
- How to do that ?
- Which firmware version should I get ? This one seems outdated - see text in red.
- How to check my current firmware version ?
- Will this upgrade erase data from my phone ?
Thank you for your help !

I have the same error too

Have you had the same issue as I once had, where no matter what you did, what order you flashed, you could not get your modem ns4g or d700 to write/work/not fail?!
Code:
So I don't have screenies from the phone. Sorry.
My wife's old Epic's modem would not stick to save my soul, I had a nandroid that had a working modem on it but if I flashed anything it would break. I figured it out, and it was sooo easy & I don't know how I missed this before.
There is nothing you can do other than these steps if this problem sounds like something you are or have experienced.
Code:

It's you. No one has ever had this issue and you're weird.
To fix, use a non oem usb cord & 2x check your drivers kid. If that wont do it also try in Windows going into Device Manager goto modems while in download mode.

Were you successful?
@AnibalSP as you no screenshots uploaded till now, i think i won
But it was just a short victory-party because after some playing emulator core dumped! :-(
Do you have an up-to-date tutorial, that explains how to go from AOSP-Emulator-Image to Gauguin-AOSP that really boots on my phone?

Nope, I'm having issues compiling, as always
In the meantime there are Elixir A12 and PE A12 so it's not very interesting anymore but both ROMs are full of Google-Stuff. No alternatives for Vanilla.
On official ArrowOS stats page you can see that 8 people are using Arrow OS 12 without supplying a download link!

CherishOS is based on AOSP, inspired by Google Pixel
Has a Pixel UI noodles by Hung Phan. So many features that you probably won't find in any ROM. All you can dream of and all you'll ever need. Just flash and enjoy.
