Moto One action downgrading from Android 11 to 10 - Motorola One Action Questions & Answers

I have a Moto One action XT2013-2 RETIN with Android 11 July 2022 Security update.
After Android 11, NFC stopped working and also HDR function of camera is not at all working.
I have seen another guy with a RETGB version of the same phone complaining about HDR issues in Lenovo forum. He says the problem occured after Android 11 September 2021 update. The problem is still not solved.
I have Android 10 ROM with me and the batch file to flash it. But I came to know that downgrading is a risky procedure which involves Bootloader unlocking and if something goes wrong it could hard brick the device.
I have very little knowledge about unlocking and flashing. Is there any other way to fix camera and NFC without downgrading?

No System Update Notification on 6.0.1 RETEU (I BREAKED MY PHONE!)

Dear all,
I 've been always receiving updates whenever i was loading official 6.0.1 til to 7.0 which was the latest for my channel . I was on Lineage 7.1.2 for a couple of days and reverted back to 6.0.1 when I was informed that 7.1.1 came available on our channel ( reteu).
The problem this time is that I get " your device's software is up to date" when I am trying to update the sw.
Any help would be highly appreciated .
Model Number: Moto z play
Software Channel : reteu
Android Version : 6.0.1.
Android Security Patch Level: November 1, 2016
Baseband Version : M8953_10208.08.04.48R ADDISON_ROWDSDS_CUST
Build Number : MPNS24.104-49-4
Update : O flashed the stock 7.0 nougat file found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z-play/how-to/moto-z-play-reteu-firmware-otas-t3557917.
Everything went all right and the phone booted normally. I got an update notification and let the system to boot so as to apply the update. After that the phone never booted and seems to be bricked!!!
YOU HELP ITS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

You can try these methods:
http://www.aryk.tech/2017/07/moto-z-play-unbrick-solutions.html
The blank-flash was unsuccessful to all users. The Loader.img is being tested by some guys. (folks at ArykTECH managed to build a Loader.img that is supposed to work, unlike the ones we extract from our phones, as described by the "DIY" section)
Edit: please, post your feedback here:

It happened to me too. I had 4 variable rom choices for RETASIA. Only one of them was responsible to get my updates back. I had to try them all

Do I take this update?

So I just got the Galaxy Tab S4 SM-T830...
Currently, it's sitting on Android Ver. 8.1.0
Build No. M1AJQ.T830XXU1ARH5
Android Security Patch June 1, 2018
It's asking me to update to the T830XXU2ARJ3 Build Number Oct. 1, 2018 Security Patch...
Do I take the update? I don't want to lock down the device by accepting anything that I shouldn't. I might want to root and install custom ROMs in the future, so that's why I'm asking first.
Thanks in advance!

I have not rooted or installed TWRP. I did upgrade my SM-T835C to U2ARJ3 and I have "OEM Unlock" available in Developer mode. Again I am all official right now. (I have not decided if I want to break AirWatch with this tablet yet or not ) Now if there was a way to keep AirWatch Hub working then that would make want to root faster!
Can anyone confirm whether taking the update will prevent future flexibility with rooting, non stock ROMS etc? Also, can anyone shed any light on what updates/improvements/benefits the update includes (outside of security patch)? Any insight much appreciated!
Sorry to bump but still very curious! Been checking this thread for updates since I asked a while back. Any noteworthy improvements? Still haven't updated.
I didn't even think about the bootloader version before installing TWRP. I just installed it today on T830XXU2ARK4. After installing TWRP, trying to boot into android caused a bootloop until I installed magisk.

Does anyone know if Security update for pie 9.0 forge g6 coming and also android 10.

I'm looking forward for a recent security update for pie 9.0 for Cricket Forge g6 PCPS29.118.63-2, possible december.
Also would be nice to have android 10.
I know some are out already but this phone require fast boot since bootloader is locked.
Also this phone works amazingly with android 9.0 october security level. As fm radio also.
Thank you all for giving phones a second chance in life!
Gooddays.

You have tried
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto
If your device is jeter then your out of luck
But that's the best place to look
To be sure that you get the correct firmware
Code:
fastboot getvar all
To get the codename and software channel
See my

I need to downgrade to 9. Is this the correct firmware for me?

[Solved] I upgraded to Android 10 by mistake, I thought it was the monthly security patch. I bought this phone from Kuwait but I think it's the United Arab Emirates version (XSG). I attached screenshots of my software, about phone and the Android 9 firmware which I'll download. Is everything correct.
I did it. Everything went smooth.
Why did you downgrade?Any issues you got with android 10?

Android 12

My moto g 5g is working awfully, it has a lot of lags, sometimes during some seconds, and i don't know the reason... I think that android 11 is poorly optimized for it. Any notice about android 12 availability? I read on some webs that this smartphone will be upgraded with the 12th.

Motorola doesn't offer reliable eta on updates, sometimes there are rumors of soak tests, but that's about it.
have you tried reflashing the firmware or a factory reset since the Android 11 upgrade?
I would use LMSA's flash rescue, but it will factory reset the device when it flashes the firmware.

I installed it yesterday, you need to unlock the bootloader. The gsi+gsm rom is really barebone tho.
For lag i can suggest removing the blur effect from systemui from developer options.

Oh, no we won't, only one major release from motorola, budget cuts i guess. We started from 10 and got 11 nothing more (except security updates). I hope this will revive modding for these phones tho. I would love an android 12 pixel experience
