I am trying to get nova launcher to run as default via adb but I don't know how to do it. Also when using the debloat option it always kicks me out as I have to sign in via a Vivo account but as the phone is running origin it does not give me the area code for my country (UK). Help please.

Ok. I know there are threads about this but I saw no clear cut answers in any of them. I already have this device rooted with Super SU. However it keeps asking for Unlock SIM code. I need this device to work with another carrier other than AT&T. Can I get any help please???
I don't think there is a way to unlock this phone for different carriers yet.

I have a n7105, i unlocked it through the hidden menus. the phone was running 4.1.1.
im trying to unlock a n7100 i aquired running 4.1.2, it did not have the Options promp after network unlock. I was told some menus may be missing if i wasnt running 4.1.1/0
I flashed a new 4.1.1 firmware onto the phone and I still have the option missing.
options i have after entering the code into the dialer is
1 debug screen
2 version info
3 umts rf nv
4 gsm rf nv
5 audio
6 common
7 ipc lb test
8 wb amr status
9umts cbs status read
These are nothing like the old settings i had.
Can someone please heklp me with firmware that will have the hidden menu to unlock. I have searched loads for 4.1.0 and had no luck any where.
need to get this done asap as my friend has no phone and needs it for work.
So yeah, can someone please help maybe with a link or direction to the required firmware.

This is opinion, not fact, so please take it as such, but from all I've read here, I don't think the same trick can be used to unlock a N7100. It's only the LTE variant that was able to be easily unlocked using the service menu trick.
I did read that the n7100 could be done. But was struggling.
Managed to root it, add su, busybox and used the galaxunlock apk.
Worked in seconds.

1. Is there any command to adb that can provide bootloader status (locked/unlocked) ? When I used purple drake there has been a line telling me which phone and firmware i am using along with the information my phone is [open]
2. Is there any command to adb that can tell me if my phone is branded by the provider ? (1&1 / Vodafone)
3. When I am using the 3845#*855# dialer-code the hidden menu is showing up, but there is no option for the qfuse mentioned in another post here.
When I am using the dialer-command 2945#*855# the phone will open the sim unlock procedure-menu, but when I tip an option it says (in german):
"your device is permanently locked an cannot be unlocked"
Other phones let you enter a code to unlock (i didn´t buy it, because i do not know how to handle the message)

Correct, unlock is permanent.

I know the sim card is ok, cause its working in other phones. Last week after flashing the Lineage 14.1 it worked well but while playing around and installing stock 7.0 rom the last days I seemingly did a mistake. I always did a clean installation, complete wipe (twrp 3.1) + format data. I guess I broke my modem but I'm not sure, and the signal bar is empty now.

Hello guys. I am from Europe and just buy Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with Snapdragon. The phone is unlocked, but have carrier brand, Verizon, I want to remove it. Can't change phone language (see that this problem is discussed here, but I did not see a solution) and in Verizon miss Samsung Cloud.
I decided to try changing stock rom with Odin. Now downloading official firmware SM 988U, because I read that must put firmware with "U", and downloading SM-988USQU1CTLB (this is my baseband version and hope that this is correct firmware), write only USA, without any brands, from sammobile, I hope that is without carrier brand. Don't know if I will manage to change language successfully, because the phone is made for USA, but hope that carrier brand will disappear and Samsung Cloud will show. Will do this for first time and don't understand a lot of things. However, my question is for Bootloader.... I try to see if my bootloader is unlocked or locked, but can't do it.... If I put new firmware and bootloader is locked what will happens? Sorry for my stupid question, but I try to learn how things happen What you think, is my idea is good or no?
