Help needed, if any kind soul has a working TWRP backup for the OnePlus Nord N100 - OnePlus Nord N100 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Oth

Hi everyone, I'm stuck with a major issue.
I have a OnePlus Nord N100 with TWRP installed. - No OS.
I have tried to fastboot flash image but with no luck.
Also tried to install from a stock image.zip with no luck.
Is there any other way forward?
I suspect that a TWRP backup of a similar device would work?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Fastboot flash should be possible. If you have telegram I can send my username in DM and we can go through why it might not be working.

Was the issue fixed because I believe I am having the same issue.

Use this twrp_A11 recovery, it also work on A10, and it's fully working
Flash Zips, flash IMGs, backups(A10, 11,12), but you can restore only after reboot (wipe data partition with yes and flash system img(10,11,12) reboot setup and reboot to twrp again to be able to restore data (to the same OS and the same api or higher)

To avoid being stuck on bootloop, backup the super partition using twrp_11 or use this command on termux as root:

E6DD-F574 is the name of your SD card (look for it on storage using termux or root browser

Lost Root!! Please Help.

Hello.
I was on OxygenOS v3.2.4 before flashing FreedomOS v1.6-CE. I made a clean flash. The device booted up fine although various mods(audio mods,multi-window etc) that i selected in the aroma installer were missing. After booting up,i realised that my root as well as my recovery were missing. Any kind of help will be appreciated. Please look into this matter guys.
Thanks.
Just get into fastboot and flash twrp from there, as you did originally... And freedom is is boring, get yourself slim6 or dirty unicorns
Fastboot TWRP then reboot in TWRP and install Supersu.

Yes,my device was encrypted but it didn't ask for any password. I restored a backup i had but it doesn't allow me to change the encryption in the security settings.

[Help] OP3 blocked, no windows PC, is this recoverable?

Hello,
I have been trying to go trhough google searches and this forum for a while now
Situation,
Had a working OP3 completely stock until this afternoon (not sure which ROM but latest OTA from stock)
- I currently dont have access to a windows PC and I am using ubuntu on a chromebook (chrubuntu)
Steps
I unloacked bootloader - successfully
I installed TWRP - successfully
Installed latest CM14.1 - successfully
After first boot Phone stopped rebooting. I tried to wipe everything and after this, I dont have a partition in my file explorer (on Ubuntu) therefore can't copy files to install
I tried to adb sideload. I get "error: Protocol (no status)"
Only thing that seems to work is fastboot
I have tried to install CM-14.1 recovery or original recovery but only CM14.1 works
It seems complete phone (system/boot/img) are wiped and therefore can't start.
Do you have any ideas? would like to unbrick the phone
Thank you

Thank you, just recoevered the phone with the modded TWRP from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...mate-guide-t3497940/post69566175#post69566175
Question is, what are the mods on the recovery? can modded recoveries give 3rd parties access to your system?
Thanks for the quick reply, I would just like to understand what is going on so it doesn't happen again. When will it be ok to flash official TWRP?

No, dont be afraid of that. The recovery is simply modded to allow booting 3.5.5 based operating systems.
The recovery partition cannot share any information to any third parties because its limited to a partition that is only active when you boot to recovery and the operating system is not running. And the operating system is running independent from the recovery you are using. There is no activity between your recovery and your system/data/cache or watever partition. Because they are complete different boot states. Only action is durring the installation or wiping processes in recovery. Or if you are flashing mods/roms/kernels or changing&updating your recovery with root apps like flashify. But again it only gives a command for a flash process or wipe process to the recovery. A recovery is not able to run any kind of service app so it is not able to share any kind of information to anyone.

You can flash a recovery using fastboot (
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
).
Other method, if you already have a custom recovery (I suspect official twrp), go to the directory where you placed the recovery.img, press install img at the bottom of the twrp screen and the img should be visible.
Select it, tap on recovery and swipe to flash/install.

If you are on a locked bootloader you must make sure that you ALWAYS flash twrp while booted into Android, using the dd command

Just an FYI: official twrp builds are built by a bot, oneplus 2 doesn't have a twrp maintainer and nobody is reviewing the code that goes into twrp for our device
You really shouldn't use the official twrp builds
no comments, that means no issues. good job

Yes. You probably have never flashed something or you just don't know all features of twrp.
You can flash a recovery using fastboot:

Sad to say but this twrp doesnt come close to the latest official. I experienced lag and slow rates.
Hi all,
I tried to install official twrp 3.2 from within twrp 3.1. and ran into issues. The recovery overall got deleted and the phone's bootloader got locked. Besides, 'allow OEM Unlock' toggle in developer options is not working. I'm seriously in a mess now.
Can someone pls detail the steps of installing this enhanced TWRP on a locked bootloader like mine? Would be extremely thankful.

You must patch the rom to provide SuperSU's binaries at boot with oxygenos recovery and a signed boot.img
After booting you have to flash twrp using dd
Instructions for doing so are in the haruhirom thread
This definitely isn't for beginners

[Official] [Recovery] TWRP for daisy

Hi all,
We've worked with TeamWin to get an official release of TWRP for daisy released, and here it is! We're sponsoring continued development of TWRP for daisy and other devices, so reach out to me if you have any questions.
I have to thank Dees_Troy & TeamWin for putting in the effort to make this available for us - donate here to support them directly.
So, without further ado, here's the download link. Here's a link to the source.
Please make sure you're on the factory image. If you aren't, the instructions to do that are here. You will lose your data and you'll have to set up your phone again.
1. Enable developer options (your bootloader should still be unlocked)
2. adb reboot bootloader
3. fastboot boot twrp-daisy-3.2.3-0.img
4. Hit "Cancel" if you're prompted for a decrypt password
5. adb push ./twrp-installer-daisy-3.2.3-0.zip /sdcard
6. Run the install in TWRP to permanently install TWRP across both slots
7. Reboot (you can reboot afterwards to TWRP to verify it is there)
Thanks all - and feel free to post your experiences, questions, comments, and concerns.
, Guava.
adb says "adb: usage: push requires an argument" after using first command.
thanks for the effort though!

I hope you can help me, I'm having similar problems too. I boot into TWRP, but the new Android 9 updates, I think, have everything encrypted. So rooting my Redmi Note 5 Pro has been really puzzling me all day. Because of the encryption, I can't access the internal storage where Magisk or SuperSU .img should be, unless I wipe all data, which removes the .imgs. Following the advice of some other threads, I have tried rebooting TWRP from itself and then flashing a TWRP.img to flash but I can't find it anywhere either. I tried adb sideloading and adb pushing but I can't get my computer to detect my phone when its in recovery. Thought I'd ask here before making my own thread
