Hi, glad to see LOS 20 on XZ2C!
May I ask you if the Android 10 downgrade is a temporary requirement, or if it will probably stay?
I flashed Android 12 binaries from https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/downloads/software-binaries and am currently running SODP 13. I would like to know if I'd better wait to test LOS?

SODP is incompatible. You need to flash latest stock android 10 before because of some partitions we don't ship.

Flashed few days ago. Works very nice, even my dead NFC came back to life.
Thanks!

One thing worth noting for the build: vibration (haptic feedback) feels a lot weaker than it should be; otherwise, it's pretty effecient and stable enough for daily use.

Thanks, I'll add this to my TODO list and check if i can reproduce it.

Hooray! Nice to see we still have stock-based LineageOS 20 / Android 13. Since XZ2 Compact is no longer my main phone, I can start testing it right away.
Just tried to login my Google Account, which requires FIDO/U2F. I tried plug in my USB key, and it seems USB OTG is not working. Kernel / dmesg log attached.

i just tried connecting my western digital external drive and it works on 19 but doesn't on 20. i guess it's the same issue you face so it's good i'm able to reproduce since i don't have such a usb key. I'll do some investigations. also thanks for the log file.

@dtrunk90 Do you know what changed with "wifi display" and "miracast" in lineageOS 18.1, 19.1, 20.0? I use the screen mirroring function with a Microsoft Display Adapter, and everything works well on 18.1. But on 19.1 and 20.0 I get a generic "wfd.service has stopped working" error when trying to pair. I'm sorry I don't have a log; I already downgraded back to 18.1.

I probably need to pick some commits.
I'll put it onto my todo list. I first need to check if I have some options to test it here.

Hi dtrunk90. I'm using your rom now since 3 days, and until now all the things I'm do/use (normal user - no special things) is fine. Listening to Spotify via BT headset stucked yesterday a bit, but today in the car via BT it was fine again. Maybe it was Spotify itself...I have no USB OTG Adapter, so I can't check issues with external device via USB.
I did a clean flash, first stock A10, then LOS20, Gapps and Magisk.
So thanks a lot for LOS20, Greeting Odiad

Funny. Because actually I didn't made any progress on that issue and there was nothing changed on device tree side. Nevermind, as long as it works.

Release note:
New builds (after 2017/1/15) uses F2FS backported from 4.10 kernel, you may meet compatibility problems such as deadlocks, if you do, flash TWRP provided in OP and choose "Wipe -> Format Data" to format(not just wipe) your /data partition, this will clean the entire /data partition, including the emulated sdcard, so don't forget to backup your data before. After that, your data partition will be formatted into ext4, if you want to keep using f2fs, just convert fs type normally in TWRP.
For oneplus3, my unofficial TWRP is recommended, as it's what I use. For 3T, TWRP 3.0.4 is recommended.
20170120 build includes sdcardfs, security fixes and camera fixes&improvements, touch to focus is fixed as well, if it's still not working, clean Snap's data. BTW N kernel source is released now, I'll take days to bring up, don't ask for ETA.
Regarding installation, we recommend that users wipe when switching to LineageOS, and reinstall their gapps. However, we recognize that this can be time consuming, so we are offering an EXPERIMENTAL (read as, if it fails, you’ll have to wipe anyways) solution. Visit http://lineageos.org/Update-and-Build-Prep/for more details
Started from lineage-14.1-20170207-nightly-oneplus3-signed.zip, we provide unified builds for both 3&3T, and you need to install certain firmware to pass the TrustZone assertion. Currently they're the OxygenOS 4.0.2 ones. As oneplus won't update them every time new OTAs are rolling out, firmware from other versions might also pass the assertion.
FAQs:
My status bar quick pulldown and notification slider are broken, why?
See https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Notes-for-CMSetupWizard
Why the builds are unified?
Tell me the difference between OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_039_all_1701140133_03b794d8a8b44883 and OnePlus3TOxygen_28_OTA_039_all_1701140132_de9036f11e2246a8, why not?

Just one small question
Do OTAs work?
Thanks
I tried the front camera, and actually it's working nice. (Snap Camera)
By the way, great ROM and glad to see it on 3T!

question
dm-verity and forced encryption disabler still needed ?
So is this official official official? Lol. I ask because there are so many official and unofficial of everything on this one plus Fred that I am overwhelmed and confused at times

Thanks for very good working!
Live Display (automatic) not working here.
EDIT: Rebooted and now it works.
Inviato dal mio ONEPLUS A3003 utilizzando Tapatalk
I am trying to switch to the official LOS nightly from 07 Feb, coming from this unofficial rom which worked perfectly: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/development/rom-unified-lineageos-cm14-1-t3525551
I did a clean install, flashed twrp 3.0.4-1, then the dm-verity and forced encryption disabler zip (version 5.1), then the LOS build, open-gapps nano package (from 8th of Feb) and the LOS root addon.
Tried numerous times now, and different things: formatting data as ext4, flashing the OOS before doing the clean install, pico instead of nano gapps. Yet the same thing keeps happening to me:
Everything works fine first, yet after encrypting the phone and turning privacy guard on and to quite strict settings for google services, the phone freezes after entering the SIM pin-code during boot. Won't start anymore at all after that.
Tried again today without encrypting the phone and just turning on privacy guard for all services starting with "Google ...", whereas I selected ask everytime rather than denied. Same thing happened, so I believe now it is a Gapps related issue.
I am now back on the abovementioned unofficial build, which works just fine with exactly the same set-up which leaves me puzzled as this build is supposed to be 99,99% pure LOS.
As some people are reporting the nightly is working fine for them: am I doing something wrong? Is anybody else having similar issue? Anybody have an idea how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for any help, well appreciated!

I know, but they didn't have luck not because they weren't stable, but because Lineage team said the makers of the rom don't have experience with Github, they (the makers of the ROM) made their github better and required again but never heard back from Lineage team. So I think if this rom becomes stable after a couple of months thanks to the hard work of the developers of this rom and if VM03 wants to make it official, he can do it if he meets all the criteria of Lineage os with a good experience of github.... I hope so.

Great and thank you so much!
Do you also plan to push OP5T (dumpling)?

I don't own dumpling, so no.
I could, if I found a used 5T for good price.

Nobody cares about safetynet. If you want it to work properly, use stock ROM on a locked bootloader.

All my other custom roms are just working fine with SafteNet passing. So it would be great to see this in LineageOS working.

Hi,
I noticed it doesn't pass safetynet CTS right now. I'll try to get it going.
Nice work guys, this is really promising for the future of the Oneplus 5.
Would be great if someone could verify that VoLTE, Wifi display, some NFC features work, as I don't have these available.
Thanks!
@T1mb3 I tested the VoLTE on T-Mobile USA, a test call in and call out worked, still get the chipmunck on inbound calls (I've lived with that glitch so long that it's not an issue for me). WiFi Display worked fine to my TV. I don't have any way to test NFC.
One thing that did happen error wise, this is with clean install, I went into Dev Options and enabled "Show background ANRs" like I normally do. Once enabled I kept getting "SecureElemantApplication isn't responding" every minute or two.

I can test nfc capability in the weekend. I have some NFC tags here so I can test writing and Reading of it.
@T1mb3 I just tested the NFC chip. The chip is working just fine. I tried writing, read and format a couple of tags and did not got any error or instability.

this build reboots to recovery when I reboot after flashing
EDIT: my mistake, I formatted data and flashed a ROM that doesn't force encrypt. Formatted again, flashed LOS and everything is fine now.
Added to the OnePlus 5 Index Thread here.

It works for me. Coming for Los 18 (backup data before !).
Install Los 19 recovery and then Los 19 zip file.
The rom seems to work. Didn't use it a lot, will see tomorrow...
At first test I will say it's slower than Los 18. Before an application starts, I have the application icon showing in big on screen but not always.
Coming from 18.1, I somehow did not manage to directly flash 19.1 Recovery (wouldn't boot but I somehow might have messed up while flashing), so I followed the more complicated procedure:
1. Flashed original Android 10 ROM with Newflasher on slot a
2. Flashed original Android 10 ROM with Newflasher on slot b
3. Flashed recovery on slot b
4. ADB sideloaded LineageOS in recovery of slot b on slot a (automatically flashed on inactive slot a).
5. ADB sideloaded GAPPS and Magisk in recovery of slot a.
Result: Works like a charm and is stable. Many thanks (I donated).
Does the unofficial build support the H314 version of the XZ2C? I get an error during the installation from adb sideload. The phone says "Package is for product xz2c but expected H8324"
Can someone tell me whether it's possible to use DualSIM and MicroSD at the same time?
LOS 18 automatically deactivates the 2nd SIM after detecting a microSD

Hi,
I had this error when I tried to install the Lineage-19.1-2022....zip direct in Los 18 Recovery (I didn't sideload).
So I've installed Lineage-19 recovery...img with fastboot, enter into recovery and apply the Lineage-19.1-2022....zip update.
That works.
非常感谢您的作品,请问这个版本什么时候才能进入官方通道呢?(sorry to use Chinese,my English very not good)

Hi,
I don't think you will find someone here who can tell you "everything" is working.
Ready for daily use, it depends what you need...
I'm using daily this rom since May 10. What is working :
- Phone call (send and receive)
- Data 4G
- Sms
- Wifi 5Ghz
- Camera
- Location
- Bluetooth
- Sd card
- Access point
- File transfer to computer
- Battery is good
- Magisk - root

Just asked cause the MartinX3 ROM (I know SODP based) is marked as Alpha and this here as Stable so I wondered.. I installed it on one XZ2C and the second will follow later.. Seems good, could restore most Apps with Migrate.. But flashing is weird, does it switch Slots sometimes?

Nope. I'm currently supporting enough models. More models, more work and I don't have enough time.
Are there any plans to go to an official release of lineageos, means are there any blocking bugs open?
Thanks (also for yor great work for that device)

Ah, thanks. I havn't seen it in the 18.1 thread. Anyhow, i think i will give it a try in the next days.
Hi, a i am new here and also new to custom ROMs. Just to confirm that i managed to flash this build on my phone and so far haven't encountered any problems. But i do have a question - how do updates work on unofficial builds of LineageOS? @dtrunk90 will you provide updates to this build by OTA updates or how does this work? Or should i just switch to official build for consistent updates?

For me, everything works fine as for the regular Xperia XZ2 with 6GB of frame. I also like the new camera app. Even NFC works for me again. Thank you for creating Android 13 and for supporting the Xperia XZ2 smartphone for a long time
Wow! Thanks a lot, @dtrunk90 ! I dirty-flashed this ROM over the official LOS 19.1 one. Also the full Nikgapps package for A13 and the latest Magisk Delta Canary. Things that never worked for me before are now up and running: AAC Bluetooth codec, and most amazingly, NFC and, thus, contactless payments! I'm certainly keeping this ROM running on both my XZ2 and XZ3 phones. Hope you keep updating it at least after each monthly security patches by Google.

The ROM is smooth, Volte works, but doesn't show the icon.
Thanks dtrunk90. Everything working fine. Nice ROM. Magisk 25.2, Gpay, Safetynet green, Font fix, Viper4android, Battery better like in 19.1...Regards

We have the sdfat driver in our kernel which supports fat12/16/32 with vfat and also exfat. Maybe we can use that but I would need to test. exFAT is on my TODO list. Afaik we only need to set CONFIG_SDFAT_FS=y and CONFIG_SDFAT_USE_FOR_EXFAT=y in our defconfigs for apollo, akari, akatuki and aurora. But I've never tested it. It was never used before I took over maintainership for tama devices.
So, yes. At least for now you'll need fat32.
Hi. Battery charging stops from time to time. Regards
