LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0.x (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

What's special about my build:
Sometimes I pick a few patches from the Lineage Gerrit before they are approved and merged into our trees.
The device trees will also be improved overtime with various improvements from mixed sources (for example better presets, different HAL solutions and so on).

Instructions:
Before installing ROM Zip make sure your running latest pie stable firmware 16.2017.1903.050-20190401
If not then download & flash latest pie stable firmware first from here PIE_20190401_firmware.zip ( Thanks to @Subinsmani )
Installation:
Download & Place ROM & Gapps in your internal storage/virtual SD
Boot into TWRP
Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache.
Flash the latest Firmware if you were not in it yet.
Flash the ROM and GApps.
Reboot and Enjoy.

Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log (only applies to SELinux enforcing builds).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

I personally dont like bloated rom so im not try it, but compared to Official Oreo this seems to have same stability level. Sound with speaker is good, with headphone is acceptable but not great. Sadly i dont have any OTG to test. And google camera (GCam_6.2.024_N7P_test1.1) working greats! Photo sample from google camera & Battery performance attached below.

There's no update since last week, as there's no source or device changes..
Next update will be probably after any source / device side changes.

Wow. Android 10 with los17 came so fast to LG V40. And seems like it's nearly daily driver condition.

Because T-Mobile wants to be different, if you try to unlock the bootloader the normal way you get a brick. If my memory is working correctly, Vlad has mentioned something about being able to unlock the bootloader but with soldering and opening the device itself.

Well first you would backup everything minus system.img and Vendor.img...on both slots just to make sure

The tmobile variants always have a different RSA key for their firmware -> the one from the other models wont work.
Kernel and so on would work fine (would just need different firmware files), but the issue is that you cant even unlock/root in the first place (to my knowledge)

Thank you, I waited impatiently.

USB connection seems to be broken. USB notification doesn't appear and it doesn't work even going on developer settings to enable transfer as default.

Many thanks for this build. I will try it as soon as I will fix my phone. Do you plan builds with LOS 19.1 or 20 for Z17S?

I didn't have much time but I have made a quick test of latest build:
lineage-18.1-20221121-nx595j-enforce-fbe-beta.zip
together with Open Gapps:
open_gapps-arm64-11.0-pico-20220215.zip
The Rom is working quite fine however the finger print scanner is working but with very low accuracy. it didn't want to recognize index finger but it detects fine second finger, but when I finish setting up one finger I was able to unlock the device with other fingers too. It looks like the amount of data recognized by the sensor is not sufficient.
Additionally I have recognized that some apps didn't detect that Im connected to internet, although at the same time the Chrome browser was working fine... I will try to do more testing to figure out if this is ROM related or maybe some apps are not ready for Android 11.
Many thanks for your work, I hope you will continue with development of this ROM as I think it is the last one for our devices.

Thanks. But version 2022-11-21 i found 3 bugs
1. Sim slot 2nd when first recived ringtone, my phone hang and restart.
2. The changer sometime status not charge when telephone pluged power.
But restart my phone its changer is normal.
3. Use share hotspot and screen off my phone restart when screen on with
notification or i actived screen on.
