Ok well with twrp I could not get it to work it would just sit and boot loop until the phone would revert back to slot a I was trying to root my gfs phone

Were you using twrp boot image? Also try flashing vbmeta if you haven't yet.

Yes the img not the zip file and I'll look into vbmeta

2. Download the TWRP provided by @THMSP in his post and flash it to your device
3. Reboot to Android and download the SHRP zip to your internal storage
4. Flash the SHRP recovery zip
5. Reboot to recovery.

Holy $#!t you actually made it

Alright, After some testing I've found only one bug. When you install Magisk Canary the recovery tries to "Inject SHRP" but fails to do so. But it doesn't seem to cause any issues ?. So I think it's Bugfree? Anyway, Good work dev!

When flashing the Magisk zip did you manually select the inject SHRP option, or was it done automatically? Magisk only patches and doesnt overwrite the boot image so I dont see any need to inject SHRP.

It tried to Inject SHRP Automatically

an issue: un-root a phone seems to break the image, it does not boot both slots it always go back to the recovery. By apply again the root to the image works fine.

2. Boot into recovery using fastboot
You will most probably get errors while flashing official miui ROMs. This error is from TWRP side. I can't do anything to fix it (most probably)​

No recovery in the world can decrypt a12 for now since TWRP does not support a12 decryption. They are working on it

This has always been my favorite recovery. It gives more options than twrp does I don't know however about orange fox because that has a lot of options to.
Have you guys heard that Miui 13 Android 12 should be coming out today I believe for
Poco F3? It's supposed to be big performance increase but my guess is they are talking about the Mi 11 ultra and flagship devices. Budget models usually don't get the same upgrades.

Note: Addon Rescue contain multiple zip included like magisk, overlay & dm verity zip, if you format data those file will be removed, so no need to flash recovery again to get those files, just flashing addon will restore those zips.

A12 is WIP yet, (https://github.com/SHRP/manifest/tree/shrp-12.1) when there is a more stable version I will make it available

Thanks mate. I installed AICP 12 with it today for my OP5. BTW, I found couple of bugs, especially in the extra settings & theming ones, but unfortunately I was unable to reproduce in the exact steps, so am unable to provide you any logs as of now.

Yes, themes still have some random bugs so the a12 version is still beta. I think it's really hard to reproduce these issues and generate logs, but if you can post it here, please.

According to the official channel, the project has been closed and there will be no further updates and/or support, so I will not be able to provide new versions of this recovery. I would like to thank everyone who used this recovery.

i didn't knew that they maintain this device :c

Tried to install this version and it didn't work, stuck on bootloop. Then I downloaded the recovery from sourceforge and worked like a charm. I saw that the recovery you posted is bigger in size 58MB vs 54MB. What did you change in it for being 4MB bigger?
