It happened because you locked bootloader with non signed firmware installed.
Press all three buttons for a long time (about 30 sec), then device should reboot to bootloader mode. From bootloader you should be able to unlock bootloader back.

Strange. Try to release power and volume up button (continue to press vol down) when phone reboots.
MSM is not available for public for 9RT. You may try to contact OnePlus support, 5hey can do it remotely on your PC. Other option is third party paid service.

And Bro I Try as You Said But Its Not work If Possible Please Tell me how can i apply for OnePlus Support Via Online???

9RT is only for China and India market. So you should communicate with support in country your phone is bought in. I.e. if you bought on Alixpress (as I did), you should communicate with chinese support. Find the link to support chat on this page, it will require valid heytap account as I know. Also I don't recommend to say you tried custom firmwares and other such stuff. Just say your phone stopped to boot after firmware upgrade and you don't know what happened. Also take into account that chinese version is Color OS, they will flash ColorOS - not Oxygen.
Personally I didn't use this way, I used paid service.

How Much they charge bro?
And can you share contact who can fixed for me with oos not cos..

If you bought from India, you probably should communicate indian support. I expect it will be easier, because china is very separated from external internet, but India is very different case. I.e. for India there is official support in WhatsApp. Check it here . I believe official support may reflash for free. At least chinese support does it for free.
Paid service is third party. They are not related to OnePlus directly, but they also have MSM account.

[HOW-TO] How to unlock your Redmi 5 Plus

What is this How-to for:
In our Telegram-group, I've seen quite some questions on what to do to unlock a Redmi 5 Plus.
There are a few different states a phone can be in when you receive it, such as 'Fake' roms, China stable, China DEV and so on. Below we'll try and make sense of it al and explain what is the best way of getting about unlocking your phone.
Update: With the release of the global Development rom, some people have successfully unlocked their device without having to perform the testpoint method. The rom can be found here:
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.15/miui_HM5PlusGlobal_8.3.15_e69c117bf5_7.1.zip
After installing global development, please start unlocking by beginning at step 1 below, but skipping step 2!
Step 1: (needed for everyone who wants to unlock their phone, regardless):
1: Goto: http://en.miui.com/unlock/ and follow the steps there to apply for unlocking:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This requires creating a MIUI forum account and entering a mobile number on which you will receive your approval. This number does NOT need to be the number you are going to use on your Redmi 5 Plus. As long as you create a MI account and hang on to that, you're good.
Getting the approval might take a while. The best way to check if your approval has been passed is to regularly revisit http://en.miui.com/unlock/ (while logged in with your forum account) until the page changes on opening to one that allows you to download the unlock client app:
This is it for this part for now.
Step 2: Knowing what ROM you are on and taking the steps to get to the right one if needed:
Basically, the following 'states' are possible:
China Stable Rom
Official Global Stable
'Fake' Global, locked bootloader
'Fake' Global, Unlocked bootloader; If you are part of these happy few, go directly to step 4.
For the first 3 options you will need to flash to the China dev rom: Which can be found here: http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.2.1/vince_images_8.2.1_20180201.0000.00_7.1_cn_bd9ee1a88a.tgz
This needs to be done via the so called 'Test point method', and it is the only way to do it (as of now).
Information on how to do this you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVG3Ip6UPGE.
After this, you are ready for the next step.
Step 3: Binding account and unlocking:
Note: If you have problems binding your account on step 1, use PlexVPN, setting the connection to a China location, or use the attached APK vpn service (in.invpn_2017-08-15.apk).
1: After you’ve applied and received unlock permission from MIUI you can use the account to sign into your Mi-Account on your phone.
First though, we need to establish if you need to do additional steps, so hold on to this for now.
2: Enable “Developer options” on your device by tapping few times on MIUI version.
3: Go to “Developer options” and enable “OEM Unlocking”, then go to “Mi Unlock Status” and tap on “Add account and device”.
4: Download and install the latest version of MiFlashUnlock from this page and install it on your pc (unlocking with MiUnlock 1.x version won’t work).
5. Install MiFlashUnlock, open it and press “Agree” button, sign into your Mi-account.
6: Turn off your phone completely and start it in fastboot mode. Press “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons at the same time until fastboot logo appear on the screen.
Connect your phone to PC in fastboot mode and press “Unlock” button.
7: And now this is where it gets a bit silly. You most likely will be confronted with a wait time between 72 and 360 hours. There is currently no way around this and you have to sit it out.
Once the time has passed, you can unlock your phone and are ready to flash TWRP and be a happy camper.
EDIT: There is a way around the 360 hour wait. Check this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ageos-15-1-t3780298/post76304194#post76304194
Step 4: Flash TWRP
See this topic on how to do this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/-t3727162.

Should the phone used to receive the unlock SMS be the same as the one on the device being unlocked?
I have tried my phone number but I didn't receive an SMS, so I had to use a U.S number and successfully got it.

has anyone found any other soulution for this problem ?

Yeah no way around it, the annoying part is that I already had a Xiaomi account that I used for unlocking other phones but apparently now you can't log in with a phone number anymore so the account is lost. See y'all in 2 weeks.
And china stable doesn't allow to unlock, neither?
I thought the problem was only in global roms...

Redmi Note 5A Prime Bootloader Unlocking

I have just got a Redmi Note 5A Prime and want to unlock the bootloader. I've applied for and received unlock permission from Xiaomi but when I run the unlock tool it tells me that my account is not bound to the phone. It tells me I need to add the account in the Mi Unlock Status section of the dev settings but according to this, the phone is not locked and there is no option to add a device so there is no way for me to bind the device and account.

The bootloader is definitely locked as confirmed by fastboot oem device-info.
I have read multiple threads on the MIUI forums about unlocking the bootloader but the information is very conflicting with much of it contradicting other info and none of it seeming to help me. Some says you can only unlock the bootloader when a certain ROM is installed, others say they have unlocked the bootloader using different ROMs - I've got MIUI Global 9.2 Stable 9.2.1.0.0. Some says you have to wait for days between receiving the permission and the unlock process working, others saying it worked for them immediately. Some say after months they still can't unlock.
If I log into my Mi account it shows that my phone is registered, if I use the 'find my device' option it correctly locates it so it 'seems' that the phone is correctly linked to my account and so I'm struggling to figure out how I get past this issue and unlock the bootloader.
Is there anybody out there who has successfully unlocked their bootloader who can provide any insight?
I have the same problem, and now the xiaomi software says me to wait 360 hours, wich is stupid....

For unlocking you need to bound your device to your account in the developer settings (it is not an standard option so it needs to be activated in the about device section, Google it). If still you can't then you go to mi account and logoff and login again. That worked for me. Now I'm in the 360 hrs period wait though.
The problem was caused by having a fake ROM installed. I had to flash the stable Chinese ROM using the testpoints method and then I was able to bind the account etc. The phone has now been unlocked and flashed with the official global ROM for a few weeks and is receiving OTA updates etc so all good in the end.

How can the phone come with fake rom preinstalled. I have heard lot about xiaomi phones coming with fake rom installed . How can a company ship phones with fake rom. I have redmi 5A phone and the phone is not getting unlocked the error on phone is 86012 error and on pc mi flash unlock tool the error is current account cannot unlock the device.
It didn't come from Xiaomi directly. The phones are primarily made for the Chinese market so ship with a Chinese ROM by default from Xiaomi. The resellers who then want to sell to a global market put the fake ROMs on to the phones due to the way Xiaomi controls the bootloader unlock process. Personally, now I know the situation and how to rectify it I would happily buy another Xiaomi phone even if it had a fake ROM.

Unlock Bootloader procedure question

So, I decided to apply to unlock my bootloader. I started following this guide.
I created a Mi account, but I was not greeted by a form to write the reason I wanted to unlock the bootloader.
A little baffled there, but I decided to proceed (maybe the form was in the app). I proceeded to the unlock page and voila! I had the link to download the Flash Tool. And so I did, I ran the miflash_unlock.exe and filled in my account and password.
Next I plugged in my phone in fastboot mode, as it was needed (I had not enable OEM Unlock in Developer Options nor had I associated my device with my account), and I was greeted with this image:

What am I doing wrong? The Unlock button is active (meaning I can click it), but I don't want to brick my phone a couple of days after I bought it.
My device (just in case):
Android Version : 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.011
MIUI Version : MIUI Global 9.5 | Stable 9.5.13.0(OEIMIFA)
Baseband Version : 660_GEN_PACK-1.147555.0.150932.1
Kernel Version : 4.4.78-perf+
Android Security Patch Level : 2018-05-01
You're not doing anything wrong. Now you don't need to apply for permission. Instead go ahead and start Unlocking process. You will be promoted with a message saying that you need to wait for some amount of time (72, 360 or even 720 hours) depending on your model.
Bind your Mi account with your device first.
Go to settings > additional settings > developer options > here you'll find the option to bond your Mi account with your device.
Edit: don't update MIUI as you have arb-3

Thank you for your reply, it was clarifying! On the guide, it says I have to use a VPN to access the Chinese servers, is it really necessary? (just a question, it is not an issue!)
Hi,
My query is kind of different.
I want to hide unlocked bootloader from a few apps. ( Blackberry Work email app).
Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.

I tried connecting to a bunch of Chinese server using VPN (as seen on some youtube videos) but I guess that method is now patched. I guess, it's only applicable on phones with Chinese ROMs within China.
You have to wait. While find some good ROMs and stuff. All the best.

Some apps requires Safetynet to be passed in order to use them, i.e. Banking apps. Unlocked bootloader, rooted phone can trigger this safetynet to fail. You can use magisk to hide the fact that your phone is unlocked.

Thanks for the revert,
however I have already tried Magisk hide and safetynet module but it's not working for me. I am using Redmi note 5 pro with Android 9.0 Pie based Pixel Experience Custom ROM. I am very happy with the ROM except that I am not able to use Blackberry Work app. Other banking apps are working fine.
Yesterday I decided to update to MIUI, I'll see what happens with ARB when I get to it, and I must say I am impressed! @preetam.id I believe it has to do with Blackberry Servers, not Magisk Hide feature, though I haven't used it for a couple of years now and don't what changes RIM has introduced.

Since you updated you can no longer go back to the stock ROM your device came with. You do realize this right? What you will have to do from here is stay on ARB4 and unlock your device from here.
Did you proceed with the unlocking for your device? I too just got my device yesterday and do not want to risk bricking. I don't see an option for bonding the account to the device in developer options.

Question Anyone got it rooted /Magisk?

Through googling, there are a few tutorial in going through how to get this rooted. But does anyone has any success?

Yes, your F3 bootloader has to be unlocked. Keep in mind that doing so will NOT void device warranty, but phone contents will be erased. So take a backup of personal or important files before proceeding.
Thank you Leo,
Just started the unlock process and it requires 168hr (7days) of wait time , guess I can still uses my op5 phone for sometime until the wait.
Pretty annoying way of wait but at least its not unattainable.

Hey. Are you sure it won't void warranty ? E.g.article
Bootloader Unlocking does not Void Warranty of Xiaomi and Redmi Devices - Gizmochina
Xiaomi smartphones are popular in the developer community, thanks to the company’s policy regarding warranty against unlocking of bootloader. But the brand has now updated its policy. Thankfully, bootloader unlocks still does not void warranty of Xiaomi and Redmi devices but with some caveats...
www.gizmochina.com
It says about unlock policy :
... "This policy is applicable to Xiaomi phones in India under both the Mi and Redmi sub-brand. Other regions could possibly have variations to this policy. And before you ask, POCO is excluded from the scope of this article and this policy entirely as it operates as an independent unit and has its own separate policy."
Do you have the source of the information that unlocking POCO from anywhere in the world is officialy not voiding warranty?
I don't know exactly if the above apply in your country.
Here in Italy Xiaomi/POCO said clearly that bootloader unlock and device rooting DOES NOT void warranty.
If further operations will lead to a phone crash/brick, so warranty will be void, and device will be repaired at a cost.
If in doubt, I suggest to ask directly to your local POCO office.
I've got not local poco office jn my country (Poland) . When asked reseller they said - every software modification results in warranty loss. I don't trust their judgment entirely. Anybody know who I may ask about that?
Eventually we all know we relock bootloade, but if they want to they can see if that was the case.
I'm really struggling about unlock + root. I'm not sure if phone has a any defect.
I'll do it for sure in time (I really need V4A). I would have more morales if it was not loosing warranty

Be aware that installing V4A on Android R devices like our F3 isn't as simple as it was with previous versions.
For example, the driver needs Selinux set to permissive to work correctly (a little risky practice).
For the moment I decided to give up, and installed a similar alternative (Wavelet).
Well. On my poco f1 with android q it was problematic but I found workaround not setting Linux to permissive I think. I just had to restart v4a and Spotify often before to make it work ^^. I am desperate to have it. I can't use in-ear headphones without auditory ear protection. They hurt my ears. Wavelet does not have that. Is it a way to achieve the effect? It's a bit off topic already so I will just ask elsewhere...

Thank you Leo,
Just started the unlock process and it requires 168hr (7days) of wait time , guess I can still uses my op5 phone for sometime until the wait.
Pretty annoying way of wait but at least its not unattainable.

Yes. Before flashing the patched boot.img you must unlock the bootloader of your F3.
What is this?There is option in dev opt that unlocks bootloader.I never unlocked my old phones by manufacturer.

It does not unlock bootloader, it only allows you to do it in fadtboot if you toggle it. With Xiaomi you need as well their blessing with a code to be able to unlock bootloader as far as I know (no real life experience with Xiaomi yet, still waiting for my F3)
Today I managed to set up Magisk Root without TWRP!
Installation
The Magic Mask for Android

"Patching Images"
The first time the F3 was stuck in bootloop so please save the original Boot.img on the PC to flash it via Fastboot if something goes wrong.
Bootloader unlock is mandatory, is only unlocked after 1 week and deletes all data.

Does unlocking the bootloader disable the ota rom update ? If that's the case do you have to manually flash the rom through fast boot everytime for updating?

Afaik unlocking bootloader does not, rooting does disable ota.
And yes. Only way to flash/update roms is via fastboot untill twrp release.
I found some instructions on how to preserve Magisk root on A/B devices like our F3:
https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/ota.html
I need some advice because the Magisk uninstall process described up there involves original boot.img restoring.
But how can it be possible? The original boot.img is only on my PC, and not on the phone...
Hello, is it possible and how to have magisk after unlocking and flashing a rom with fastboot ?

Yes, it's absolutely possible.

The above operations must be repeated every time you'll flash a new ROM.
I have flashed it but failed safety check .
And can't get the adaway work

Question Global ROM for Xiaomi Pad 5 (nabu)

Hi Guys,
Is there any update on the Global ROM of Xiaomi Pad 5 yet?
It is known that the global version of the tablet is being delivered at retail shops.
Bootloader Unlock has been done well so far, just waiting for the Global ROM.
Here are the reasons I must wait for the Global ROM:
1. Sogou Keyboard does not support well my local texts, especially with the physical keyboards (which I have already purchased thru shopee ~100USD ).
2. Sogou Keyboard automatically reverts back "default" keyboard after reboot even Gboard had been set to Default keyboard.
3. Bloatware, Fonts are horrible
4. No NEARBY SHARE found on the current China ROM 12.5.9.
Thank you!
--------------- Update Oct 13 2021 --------------------
You can flash the Global ROM now, it is available finally!
Do make sure:
1. You have completely unlocked your Xiaomi Pad 5 (bind Mi Account and wait 168hrs), enter Pad 5 to fastboot mode, connect Pad 5 to PC, run Unlock Tool on PC to check Pad 5 is successfully unlocked, it should state "Unlocked" with your device ID.
2. Choose "Clear All" option in XiaoMi Flash Tool to make sure that you will have a brand new ROM on the Device. Remember enter the right Directory Path to ROM folder.
3. There is an error at the end (something like your miss abc file...), that says your have successfully installed the Global ROM to your China Pad 5.

How did you manage to unlock on the global computer? I can't do anything at all. the tablet is linked to the account. but when unlocking, writes: bind in developer mode. But in the tablet itself I can not bind

an error msg? its not the first time I have seen this problem
You should try with another PC/Laptop.
Make sure you have installed Xiaomi/Android Drivers, Enable Debugging Mode.
Check your USB port, Open the Xiaomi Unlock to check if your PC recognizes the Xiaomi Device when it is in fastboot mode.
Here's a mistake.
Spoiler: spoiler
I have the same "Request parameter error". Waiting to find something or an updated ROM.
Can confirm, same error shows up on my global Pad 5. I hope it will be fixed with a software update, I can't live without root lol

I hear you friend, I guess I am just impatient. Waiting for my tablet to arrive, and want to get it to be Global-ified as soon as it arrives. As a newbie, I also hope the steps to load the Global ROM are idiot-proof.
The global rom is finally available but i can't unlock the bootloader for now !
