Question Where to buy the charger in an "unsupported" country? - Google Pixel Watch

Hi Guys,
I've bought trough eBay a Pixel Watch from Germany, but living in two houses for work/family reasons means that everything that can be forgotten here and there should be bought double (really frustrating I know )
For sure one of the objects that i need to have double are the chargers , at least i need one of them in the wall and another in by backpack.
I've just discovered (after forgetting the charger in the other house) that i cannot charge my Pixel watch with any of the QI chargers/pads/pucks that i have in the house... including Pixel 7 Pro share battery functionality.
Apparently it charges but something (software i think) prevents it, the charge indicator lights up, the watch became hot, but the battery won't charge at all (it discharges)
So Simple question... where could I buy one of these expensive Google pucks? Google and Fitbit stores does not deliver to Italy and couldn't find any of them on Amazon(s)/Ebay...
Any suggestions?
In the evening i will search in the basement my old Motorola 360 puck but i'm not so confident it will work...
Thanks

Any friends in Germany or other countries where the watch is sold? I just got a second charger but purchased directly from Google Online Store in the US.
Good luck

Great and fairly cheap car charger by TomTom

Hi guys!
Last week I was shopping around at a local electronics retailer when I noticed a car charger made by TomTom for a decent price (I paid ~18 Euros).
It has two USB ports, one of whom is rated at 2.1A and the other at 1A. It also has a 12V car pass-through jack, so you can plug in another 12V device.
I saw it available at Amazon.de and .co.uk:
UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-Univ...tphones/dp/tech-data/B004SH3ERC/ref=de_a_smtd
£10.89
DE: http://www.amazon.de/TomTom-High-Sp...3ERC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1327522692&sr=8-4
€18.35

Being a frugal shopper I've tried to scrimp on car chargers and leads and adapters for my ZTE Blade and more recently my Note and I've also spent time and effort ripping them apart to solder pins to try to encourage fast charging of my Note. While they can all charge a sleeping phone perfectly well, not one combination of bits and pieces has succeeded in keeping my Note charged while using CoPilot sat nav.
So finally I bit the bullet and bought the proper Samsung 1 Amp charger from Amazon. It was £10 with free delivery and has proved an instant hit, successfully topping up the charge in the phone while running the sat nav app. Why oh why did I not buy it sooner. It would have saved money and grief.

(It's now even cheaper than when I bought it, costing just £9.80 today.)
p.s. the supplied coiled lead is quite short when tightly coiled, which can be a good thing if it doesn't need to go far, but if you have a long distance to cover it might be a problem. I haven't tried stretching it to see how far it might go as I'm happy with it as is and don't want it to go all loose and floppy.
Here is a great two output usb car charger, one of which supports high output current.. less that $10

Read the third review of that charger, by K Crawford. You may wish to reconsider.
As I stated in my previous post I have bought a couple of different "high current" car chargers and neither one will charge the Note quickly enough to maintain or increase charge while running satnav. It's all to do with the black arts involved in triggering the phone to draw the current that is potentially available. I've tried tweaking the chargers themselves (shorting the two centre pins) and also tried using the Note's supplied USB lead with them, but to no avail. A high current charger is no use if the phone refuses to draw current above the "safe" 500mA USB standard. That's the problem with many of these third party chargers, be they mains or car. I've spent more money in total on "cheap" solutions than it would have cost to buy the original item in the first place.
This looks like one of them - http://www.dealextreme.com/p/car-cigarette-powered-dual-usb-adapter-charger-for-ipod-dc-12-24v-48029
And this looks similar to the other - http://www.dealextreme.com/p/designer-s-car-cigarette-powered-dual-usb-adapter-charger-72932
Maybe they were both simply too cheap, but whatever the reason they did not meet the needs. This is why I finally caved and bought the real deal, by Samsung, and now my car charging woes are over.

Cheap Charger on ebay

I recently bought one of these chargers on ebay from tuttoit (12V 1.5A 18W AC HOME Charger Adapter for MOTOROLA XOOM 4G LTE 3G Wi-Fi - can't post link due to xda restrictions). The charger works OK (charges quite quickly in fact) but I've found my xoom cannot be used while this charger is plugged in! The screen become unusable and therefore I have to wait until I have finished charging before I can use my xoom again. I think it may be to do with the charger not earthing properly.
Also the black box on the charger gets very hot.
Just posting this info to help anyone thinking of buying this charger.
Further to my previous post: DO NOT BUY A CHARGER FROM TUTTOIT ON EBAY.
Mine died after a few weeks of use. They are cheap rubbish.
(That'll teach me to buy cheap off eBay )
This stinks that you experienced this...but for the most part...its pretty common these days.
I try to use OEM products whenever possible and pay a little extra. I had a bad experience with a non OEM laptop charger years ago...and it friend my motherboard and power supply unit on my Thinkpad - thankfully I was able to find a used MoBo and install myself for 35 bucks.

Good advice.
I took the broken one apart and the circuit board inside had been fried.
Yesterday I looked for a Motorola charger and couldn't find one, even on the Motorola website!
Ended up buying another one from Hong Kong but I think the quality is a bit better (fingers crossed).
What about Amazon?

Didn't think of Amazon and the price is about what I paid on eBay! D'oh.
Might buy one of theirs as well.
Thanx.
DO NOT BUY A CHEAP CHARGER FROM xiaoqinzhang2009 ON EBAY! Seller now known as micro-estore.
I did it again!
This second charger does the same as the first; you can't use the touchscreen while it is charging and it gets very hot.
I doubt these are made to Australian manufacturing standards.
I'm following tincbtrar's advice and going OEM from now on.

Extra Battery & Charging Cradle For LG G4

I have two extra batteries that I bought somewhere on the net, and both are Chinese counterfeits (not Korean) and don't hold much of a charge.
I wanted to get a new battery, and looked all around the net, and it appears that new charging cradles and new batteries are primarily coming out of China, and I think their qualities may be dubious by comparison with the real stuff. So it finally dawned on me today to check the LG website, and when I did I found new cradles and new batteries for only $20 each, which is cheaper than most of the stuff hawked on eBay & Amazon.
I just ordered a battery and a cradle, and LG automatically knocked down the price to $10 each (plus California sales tax), and they're on the way to me. I presume these items are the "real thing" and they're cheaper than anyplace I've been able to locate on the net.
Just wanted to let folks know in case you want to pick up either of these for backup or replacement.
You're welcome. Enzo

I've seen the samsung galaxy charger duo which charges both the phone and the watch, and there are also a couple of alternatives on amazon if you search for duo wireless chargers
One of the main reasons I pre-ordered my Galaxy Watch here in the UK was that it not only came with the standard single wireless charger that everyone gets, but it also came with a free Duo wireless charger! The Duo is OK, though I'm a bit surprised it used micro USB rather than USB C for power and that the section to put your watch on isn't magnetic like the single standard wireless charger is (I guess it's not so critical because its horizontal rather than vertical).
Both charging areas of the Duo have "fast charging" written on them, though is the Galaxy Watch even capable of that? I think the retail price of the Duo (89 pounds in the UK) is scandalously high - it's probably worth about a third of that. Single Qi chargers can be found for 10 pounds or less, so to charge 9 times that for a Duo is ridiculous.
Im guessing your right, but im looking for an alternative that wont charge your phone wireless too (because the op6 hasnt got wireless charging though)
Same here, I have a Nexus5x (and no plan to buy a Samsung phone any time soon).
I might end up 3d printing a stand with usb-c for my phone. I just need to find some good Galaxy Watch charger for that.

That actually seems like a pretty good idea. If you do try and do this, you could share the model you used for the charger. Thanks in advance!

I honestly wouldn't expect an Apple charger to be compatible with anything but Apple.
I was in a Samsung Store and they have the Galaxy Watches on Display on the Chargers that look Great.
I would like to know How and Where and How Much.
How can I find the Samsung Galaxy Watch Charging Display Stand that I can Purchase?
Where is it Available to be able to Purchase?
How Much is the Official Samsung Galaxy Watch Charging Display Stand?
If Anyone Know then Please let Me know.

Where to find stock charger for our watches? I'm in canada

I've looked and all i can find is the 3rd party chargers that everyone complains about. They either overheat the charger or the watch. I need one in canada or a company that will chip to canada.
Samsung doesn't ship to Canada?
i bough 2 no name ( well they did have a name on the box Moko) and have been pleased. 2 for 25 bucks if i remember correctly.
not sure if they get too hot but id say warm during charging. and when it hits full therrs an indicator that changes to green and i believe that it also stops the charge...
now what im looking for is a stand for both samsung phones and watches that is up right. not a slate.
ive ordered 2 and they both are 3 watt for the watch charger and it dosent work(needs to be 5). but phone charges well.
I found a stock s3 charger on amazon.ca for $49 There is no stock galaxy watch charger available anywhere. It doesn't exist. I asked samsung and they said its the same charger. Samsung canada does not have a store to buy from. They just tell you where you can purchase one but at this time, that feature is not working so go figure. Samsung US does not ship to canada. Why sell something and not sell extra chargers or any accessories for it?
If you live close to the border I wonder if you can get it shipped to a place in the US then just drive across and pick it up?
