Nice, finally someone is doing this. Being both a fan of crDroid and Note 10 series, it's sad to see crdroid being no longer built, even just using trees from LOS.
Once thought about build these too, but it takes too much disk spaces to play with other devices and build these devices regularly at the same time...

I will update builds next week again thanks.

Just found out Jubscleisson is doing the same thing. I believe they will make it official in the future which is also great.
Oh, and, um, I don't know if the original maintainer cares, but you should always put his name on the page, since he took sooooooooo much effort to build these trees, and deserve a respect.

May i know that it is for snapdragon devices or exynos?

Stay tuned for updates guys....

Hi nice work with that ROM, thanks to u i will stay longer with my note , it will be nicer if u give us additional info about how to "magisking" it, Only via patching boot.img or some other way.
Had also problems with gapps(minimal ver(core)) after first 3 boot-ups(Store Play doesnt want to work), probably smth with play service updating etc.., but now working perfectly
Ps. When i Shuting it down or rebooting via system gui, the screen is turing fast and the phone is turned on for 30secs more, newbie can think that is freeze or smth(Probably everyone will shut it down by force key combination)
D1 Ver on SM-N970F
Once more GJJ, Thank u.

First of all, thank you so much for all your work man, I just saw that you not only maintain official LOS for dragon and this crDroid port but also commit to official TWRP. I don't know how you do all this, but I admire and applaud it.
Two quick questions:
1. GApps are optional, right?
2. Do I flash Magisk after first boot (as described in OP under "Pre-Installation") or right after ROM (as described in OP under "First time installation")?
Edit:
Ok, I just couldn't wait and flashed it. To answer my own questions:
GApps are indeed optional and I flashed Magisk only after booting crDroid for the first time.
@ followmsi
So far I encountered the following problems:
1. A lot of artifacts/flickering/flashing of the UI, looks like refreshes/repaints that get stuck half-way. Sometimes it is impossible to e.g. use the keyboard because of this. If you want I can provide photos, but it should be pretty easy and obvious to reproduce this unless there is something seriously wrong with my installation.
2. Booting into crDroid only works every other time or so, it often freezes on the large Google logo screen. Holding the power button until it shuts off mostly fixes the problem and it boots successfully on the next try, but sometimes even a third try is needed.
Apart from these problems, first impression is very good. Nice to see Android 10 with lots of customization on the good old dragon
Thanks again and let me know if I can be of assistance.

Edit: Just an FYi, a dirty flash from CR 6.5 to 6.9 was buggy. Might need a clean flash.
Also, Magisk Canary didn't want to flash. Tried multiple methods. Not a big deal because Magisk betta worked just fine.

Awesome, Thanks. Just upgraded from Dirty Unicorns. Flashed with Nik Gapps, no problem except prior mentions in the LOS thread. Thank you a gain and have a great holiday!
First of all, thank you for all your work . I have flashed crDroidAndroid-11.0-20201219-dragon-v7.1.zip and Nik gapps. After the display has switched itself off, it switches on again automatically after 5 seconds and so on. If I turn the display off using the button, it won't turn on again. Do I have any setting that causes this?
It's time for a new build ..

Thank you @followmsi for your support of this ROM, as I much prefer it with all it's customization over basic LineageOS. It seems to run much better now than before as well. I think there were some RAM-related issues.
But I have run into a grave problem, as I have accidentally turned off WiFi and now the tablet has become unresponsive, as the UI seems to crash repeatedly. Only the status bar and lock screen symbol pop in and out. I tried to turn on WiFi by booting into TWRP and changing "wifi_on" to 1 in "/data/system/users/0/settings_global.xml" but it didn't work. The tablet runs warm and safe mode doesn't work either btw. Any idea?
Edit: I decided to perform a clean install, since it's been a while anyway and we've skipped a couple versions as well. Anyway, I initially tested to turn WiFi off and it worked fine, no crash. I proceed to set up my device somewhat, enable dark mode, change icon shape, go through all crDroid settings etc.; I turn off WiFi once more, from the quick-settings, and it happened again. I'm not sure what setting or customization exactly leads to this, but I guess I'll have to be very careful not to turn it off for now. If I can help troubleshoot this issue, let me know.
Edit2: I think I figured out what it is: Data usage (daily/monthly) in the quick settings. Gotta keep that turned off.

Just a note in case anyone else stumbles upon this: I could not get this build to boot with OpenGapps and a clean install, tried three times including format data and everything. Then tried NikGapps and it worked like a charm.
ROM itself is awesome, no problems so far, reasonably fast considering the hardware and a lot of cool features.

For microG, you can install Magisk and then install microG Installer Revived module. Great to see another unique addition to the Nord community . Thank you !
I just found out that if you use Gesture Navigation it will cause FOD to glitch. To fix this issue you have to hide the Gesture Bar on the length part like picture 1 or else use other navigation, FOD will work fine again.
So to developers or maintainer for this phone, if anyone told that FOD doesn't work on your ROM please check whether they are using Gesture Navigation or not. (except ROMs that have a thin bar like Lineage, that ROM bar is so thin that it doesn't affect FOD at all)

Well if you flash a custom kernel then yea it will work
However, I am planning to switch kernel in the next October patch that merged latest CAF tag by myself
October patches is here and time for a new update
Here's the changelog today :
- Merged latest October patch
- Using new source built kernel with some changes like :
+ DT2W
+ NFC fixed
+ Latest kona/11.0.0 CAF tag merged (LA.UM.9.12.r1-13200-SMxx50.0)
+ Updated simple_lmk
+ Wireguard
+ Westwood TCP Congestion, BBR is the 2nd choice.
+ Compile with crDroid clang 12.0.7 + LTO + Polly optimization.
- Fixed choosing refresh rate (both min/max) not showing up.
- Lineage's Gallery got replaced with OneplusGallery (preparing to port OneplusCamera soon)
- z-order FOD combining with the new source-built kernel fixed a lot of problem relate to FOD.
- Fixed WARP Charging not visible.
This update mark a major milestone with lots of new changes so I don't think that we are ready for OTA yet, but you can still dirty flash if you want. So go to Project Sakura now to grab the latest zip, have fun
(Note : there is a gappscore version in avicii folder, but don't flash it. PS team currently still encouraging to maintain only 1 variant so I choose vanilla. You won't get any new updates if you flash that version so again DO NOT FLASH GAPPSCORE BUILD)
Sorry for a long inactive time, but I'm back with January 2022 update
This time we will switch to @firebird11 device tree, based on what he did in crDroid. A lot of thanks to him because not only the tree is good, but also it provide a very cool thing : Oneplus Camera. Yes you heard it right, OOS Camera is here in the ROM, there are some feature is lacking or even unable to use unless SELinux is set to permissive but it's here.
The rest of the changes are nothing much, there's Dolby Audio but I tried to use it with my DAC but I don't like it, you can try them if you want.
Anyway, here's the changelog :
- Merged January patch
- Migrating to @firebird11 crDroid device tree, which include :
+ Dimension update
+ Oneplus Settings tab
+ Dolby Audio
+ Oneplus Camera (partially working)
+ 5G Mode Switcher
- Firmware update to OOS 11.1.7.7
- Latest kona/11.0.0 CAF tag merged (LA.UM.9.12.r1-13800-SMxx50.0)
Also in this build, I cherry-pick a commit on system/core to fix f2fs degradation thanks to this tweet by arter97. The commit has been merged into PS main source and we are the first device to have it
And due to the fact that a lot of people can't install Gapps on this ROM, I still compile Gapps-Core version alongside with Vanilla, but remember, I won't make OTA for that version, only Vanilla

- Buttons
- Bluetooth
- Wifi HotSpot

- Network trafic monitoring (WIP, same reason as bellow, uses BPF)
- BPF specific functions like fancy new GPU monitoring in Android 13
Keep in mind that some LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
Also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper
a) Logcat
b) proc/last_kmsg (or proc/kmsg)
c) data/tombstones
d) dmesg
Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
NikGapps have been updated to 13, you might need to clean flash if you used other gapps in past including nikgapps 12.1 version
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12/13 support

You have to wipe data/cache/system/ before you install
Would Titanium Backup version 8.3.3 work on this version ROM ?
Big Thxx
Having trouble with "keepass2android" on this ROM.
Problems are not unexpected, just wondering if anybody else has a problem, any suggestions.
Thank you Ivan for your work. But I think the ROM isn't ready for daily use. Standby battery livetime 6 hours only instead of more than 20 with LineageOS 19. And a lot of crashes in apps like K9-Mail, Filemanager+, Google search,... I go back to LineageOS19 and wait for a stable release of LineageOS20.

Keep in mind that some apps need to be updated to be compatible with android 13. This is mainly not a rom issue. The app developers need to update their apps as usually on every major android update
I want to update from Lineage 17.1
I want to keep my apps and data
Can I flash this ROM without wiping data ?

From me a big thanks to Ivan too, but I have exactly the same issues.
The battery drain is very huge. While watching YouTube it is like 0.5% per minute.
The App crashes are really weird, sometimes they crash permanent sometimes they dont and after a few restart is working again.
Contacts importing wont work because of missing rights, somebody knows how to fix that?
And sadly while making a phone call the called person is hearing a hugh echo.
Keep in mind, to go back to Lineagos 19.1 you have to wipe all data or you will enter a boot loop.
very good work, keep it up, waiting for a stable version

I know this, but the mentioned apps are running on a Pixel 6 with Android 13 without problems. So I think it's a ROM issue.

Thanks for keeping crdroid going on these devices. Looking forward to trying this out on my s10e, but just want to check if it has the high touch sensitivity option as it hasn't always been on early crdroid builds in the past?
Known issues:
Encryption not working
Will look into fixing encryption thank you.
It does not depend on your ROM. FDE (Full Disk Encryption) was removed in Android 13 and TWRP does not support FBE (File Based Encryption).
The only ways you can deal with it are:
a) The insecure way....using the ROM without encryption
b) Use a proper Recovery (LineageOS Recovery)
c) Use it with TWRP and deal with it if it breaks encryption and you loose your personal data

Literally my phone broke yesterday, was trying the PixelExtended13 rom and was great, but started getting random massive battery drain from Mobile Standby, was using CR-Droid before things broke, and am glad that this came out today. Talk about perfect timing, just praying I don't have the same battery drain issue because CRDroid is the best.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Thanks glad you like it, will be updated as regularly as possible.
This ROM is super stable. Been driving it for most the day now, and it runs buttery smooth with great battery life. As well as there being way more settings than the android 12 version of crdroid, plus face unlock and just a ton of other features built in. You could get all these features with third party apps, but the fact that it's all built in and just works is the best part. Will update if there are any changes, but I would rate this as daily driver material
Glad you like it, I'll keep it updated every month or so, please report if u get any bugs.
Is the interface as on Android 13 of Pixel Phone?
I don't like TWRP. Can it be installed with someone else Recovery, such as Lineage OS Recovery?
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F), Android 12, last firmware is HVJ5.
Yes it's actually better to use the recovery.img in the rom, as twrp doesn't support encryption.

I take no credit for the sources, this build is stable just because of encryption, other then that it's exactly the same.

I don't think so.
On first I like the ROM,it's nice and fast and it has ton of customisation.I don't like that the apps on home screen can't be whit the same color as the Monet .And when you add Google account it crashes and can't restore the apps, wifi passwords etc. This thing is little frustrating but overall it's nice .If someone know how to fix it I"lol be grateful.Cheers!

I will update instructions in the OP, and also will update when march security patch gets merged.
hi,I flashed the latest version of the ROM, and I am using a 5G SIM card from China Unicom. However, this system only supports 4G. Is it a problem with my settings or the system itself?
