MIUI 14 launches the "Razor Project", with the Blade Facing Inward, and strives to create an Ultra-Pure System with: Minimum Firmware, Minimum Memory Usage, and Minimum Non-Uninstallable Applications.
"Razor Project"
System more optimized: System firmware size reduced for %23 compared to MIUI 13
Memory management: Now memory management more aggressive for use it properly.
Uninstallable apps: Now you can remove all apps except core apps like Phone, Messages. The system apps now is reduced to 8.

hope it doesn't disappoint

I didn't see the Control Center design yet but I agree that seems to be the same main interface. Let's check if it's fastest and less buggy now.
EDITED: Change log of MIUI 14 (annex)

Due to death of Jiang Zemin, most of the launch events are postpone in china. Xiaomi 13 Series launch are postponed now.
To be confirmed if MIUI 14 launch will be postponed also... probably.

Not exactly. The new MIUI 14 now has some fine details like animated Super Icons on the Home Screen.
EDITED: Annexed the latest MIUI information.

Anyone installed it yet? How's the performance and battery life?

Plus version anytime soon? The button order switch really helps for day to day, and a couple other things included, too. Also, if possible (if not already in the rom) can you add the option to PRESS the power button to unlock? Not the default tap to unlock. It helps prevent a lot of accidental unlocks.
Radio seems to be working fine. Rom, in general, is smooth. Good battery backup, everything working as it should here.
Hello, what is the default camera app on this rom?

Could be better. Especially if you move suddenly from a very well lit place to a dark place and vice versa, it jumps suddenly and becomes bit too dark. Definitely not a deal breaker though, barely noticeable.

Love the ROM, it's much more stable than the likes of Project Elixir, etc. and I really really love the QuickTap!

Don't understand the first question.
Sot is really good for me. For what it's worth, as this is my usage: some 7.5 hrs over 1.1 days.
I just realized one thing, mic quality is very poor in this ROM. At times it almost sounds distorted
What's the go to way route here to get this rooted? I patched the boot.img in Magisk 24.1 and flashed it via fastboot and the system is playing bonkers. Didn't try to install Magisk via recovery, since I have the pixel experience recovery installed.

Curtana works like a charme (aside from me not getting root to work in any way I did it before).
PE official telegram channel says they have dropped support for redmi note 10 lite which is basically note 9s/9 pro indian edition. That's why I got confused since I expect this one to work on Note 10 Lite

be interested in your thoughts on it, i have just received my hong kong import and first thing i did was install xiaomi eu rom. I cannot hold a stable LTE connection. whenever i turn screen off, it reverts to Hdspa which is incredibly annoying! Flight mode brings it back but it reverts again on next screen off. Also find wifi very tempramental with playstore being unusable on wifi
Try the weekly versions. They can be installed over the stable ones with TWRP.

Stable because:
Due to beta process adjustments on Xiaomi's side, we will stop releasing "old" Weekly ROMs (22.10.26 is the last "old" Weekly release). Next updates will be based on "new" Weekly releases (like V13.1.22.10.26.DEV) and may include an Android 13 upgrade in near future and new devices.
Only the old versions are in Fastboot.zip, the latest is in ZIP only.

Thank you for quick answer. For me it is important that banking apps work like Revolut or from my local bank. Not working NFC for now isn't issue, but I'm sure that would be fixed when Xiaomi releases official ROM to Joyeuse users (Curtana users don't have NFC)

Hello.
First of all, I want to thank you for the work done in creating custom roms.
I have a xiaomi redmi note 9s unlocked bootloader.. I installed xiaomi myself. 12.2.5.6 0 with android 11 with orange fox recovery for android 11.
I updated to orange fox recovery for android 12 (according to the above specifications left by you...).. I did the installation cleanly (following the above instructions left by you)..
But unfortunately it remains stuck in the bootloop (picture with Resmi) - I waited 25-30 minutes and no change... it doesn't boot with the MIUI logo - like it is with xiaomi 12.5.6 0 with Android 11... Some tips they would be welcome at your place - maybe I'm wrong...
Thank you in advance.. I wish you a pleasant day...
Always format data after rom flashing
Format data by typing yes and reboot and then check

No, they never did or said that. It's a12 and it's crap, almost a minor upgrade since all good features are china only. A CRAP
yes they said that officially long time ago, as links are not allowed here u can check yourself on internet , + 12L is nothing more than few more system apps optimized for larger screens + few multitasking tweaks, everyone knows buying Chinese to save money is gonna end with crap software and pretty slow if any major updates, it's still better than what Realme and Lenovo have to offer in the tablet department

Yep EU rom is out
Update: wait with the install, my device stuck at 60hz, changing back and forth between 120 and 60 does nothing. I've already restarted my device multiple times.

Chinese user here.News said that the global version is being tested and Xiaomi 13 series will be launched globally within a month or two.So global rom is likely to be available by that time.

Yes same user as you and that sounds good.
I have a testing sample of a 13 PRO with an "almost final" EUXM build: let me know if and how I can help.

You can share all information that you know here like how to install it from where to download it etc.
Well at the moment I can share information but not the build, since it's not internally approved yet.
Approval is supposed to be received by end of this week and in a moth commercial launch should begin.
For EU (and I guess also GLOBAL) there are no big changes between Android 12 / MUI 13 and Android 13 / MUI 14: as usual XIAOMI for EU leaves out most of the advanced features of the China MIUI, plus some Android featutres are totally ignore (like the nw themed icons).
In addition form a GUI point of view, MIUI 14 till has some glitches:
Icons in noritifications are not color on color
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
like it was on MIUI 13 (reference phone for MIUI 13 and Android 12 is Xiaomi 12 PRO)
The strange thing here is that the icon appear bad only when notification is compacted, while when expanded it look ok:
Some texts are not nicely aligned (example below is for alarm snoozing)
You can also tell from the SIM choosing, in MIUI 14 the SIM number is not properly cenetred
like it was on MIUI 13
And few more misalignemts or word-wrapping are present.
I believe that, besides the icon issue, the main text glitches are due to the fact that (looking at dev option) the SMALLEST WIDTH (i.e. the PPI) in MIUI 14 is set to 388dp instead of 411: why I don't know.
Thanks for information, so, Can I ask how is Google Voice Assistant works well on EU rom?

If phone is rooted, bank apps and Google pay does not work.
If phone is not rooted but bootloader is unlocked, Google pay does not work (unless you have xiaomi.eu)

never use Android Auto but i can see the app installed and launch successfully. i think it should work
Thanks for your quick reply. Any chance you try android wear? and Gpay?
Gpay won't work cause bootloader unlocked.
Root the phone and use Magisk modules or install a Xiaomi Eu rom.

wear should work.
gpay and most banking apps are not working, you have to root & safety net patch to make it work.

Thanks for detailed answer. I m thinking of buying it from a well known Chinese shop that will ship it with installed Global Rom on it. If I understand correctly I will have to apply the Bypass safetynet procedure you indicated above to get Banking apps to work. correct?
