Development [ROM][SM-G990E] Stock ROM for Galaxy S21 FE (Magisk Pre-Rooted, Odin Flashable, Dirty Flash) - Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

As OTA updates are not available for my rooted S21 FE (Exynos), I periodically prepare pre-rooted Odin flashable ROMs for manual updates.
These can be dirty flashed by selecting the HOME_CSC file. Bootloaders are patched to remove unlocked OEM warnings.
Warning: Please only flash if you know what you're doing!
Tips:
The latest version of SHealth works after installing SamsungHealthSecurityProps
Universal SafetyNet Fix works

Thank you, this is awesome! Have you ever encountered any problems flashing? Loss of data?
Also, do you recommend installing each OTA, one-by-one, or is it OK to jump to the most recent one every time?

You're welcome, and no, I haven't faced any problems, neither have I lost any data. Just make sure you flash HOME_CSC to retain your apps and data. You can flash the most recent version, there's no need to flash incrementally. Good luck!

Coming from DVK6 version. Flashed the EWC1 and lost all data, then phone stuck in bootloop. Flashed TWRP and tried to fix by formatting Cache, Internal etc, Nothing helped.

Is it possible to unlock the bootloader on the G990B version?

US Version, no. When you have the option under developer settings, then yes

Can you provide me a guideline/ instruction on how to modify the snapdragon firmware file (G990BOXM4EWE3) to remove the bootloader unlock warning??

Can't say much, haven't received any complain.
1) What Odin version did you use?
2) Did you flash CSC or HOME_CSC?
3) Did you try flashing original Samsung firmware?

Odin 3.14.4
Flashed HOME_CSC
After failing with yours, I flashed original and was able to boot.

but location works despite that right
Location works instantly, the main problem is that other apps can't see microg services installed, so they complain about it (maps) or don't work at all(strava).

Looks like stock, just less bloatware. Google apps like gmail and chrome also aren't included. Not a big deal just pointing it out.
So I tried to root this thin using the @PBandJ method. But instead of grabbing the stock boot.img and patching that through Magisk, I grabbed this ROM's boot.img and did the same thing. I was able to flash the .img and reboot with no problem...but Magisk still shows that it isn't installed and I am not rooted. Not sure what's wrong here?

Those root threads are for stock.
Since this is a custom ROM the boot image is probably already modified to accept Magisk modifications or it is already rooted. So, did you try just a direct install from the Magisk manager app?
Choosing < Direct Install (recommend) > without any fastboot flashing or or any other actions?

I downloaded the Magisk manager and the only option to install Magisk is the .zip...but I'm not sure how to install a zip without TWRP. I would usually use an app but since I'm not rooted I can't.

Right. I know what I'm doing and I've been around Android since like 2010, but this just isn't working. I haven't gotten the nerve to actually fastboot flash the zip file for Magisk yet.

Why would we flash whole ROM while we're already on Android 10? Can we get a link to download 32MB update package?
Couldn't update..

Can you provide us the smaller (32.69 MB) OTA file as we are already on the build V11.0.11.0 QFQMIXM.I have only access to 2G network,I hope now you can understand where from I belong in India. Downloading full ROM will take me 2 days.

Thx man
Hi! I installed this via twrp and now I have bluetooth issues. I have redmi airdots and if I listen something and having wifi on/connected, it drops the connection in every 20-30 seconds... Using custom rom (crdroid 6.5) there is no issue withbt/wifi. There is no issue if I have bt earphones connected and using 4g. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Jason,
Encryption has been disabled in this ROM, to allow the data partition to be read within TWRP. Previous ROMs I maintained did the same.
If you do not prefer this method, feel free to switch to another ROM that has it enabled.

What is the encryption and what is it for? I ask because I don't know English well.
Brilliant, thanks Luke, thought youd moved on..

File encryption protects individual files or file systems by encrypting them with a specific key, making them accessible only to the keyholder. The goal is to prevent malicious or unauthorized parties from accessing files that are stored on the disk.
But, if you are asking why it's disabled, then probably because encrypted partitions are not supported by TWRP recovery.

I think back from HVJ5 to HVG4 don't can. Only HVI4 is solution. I am South East Europe, I used HVI4 Spain (AMO). This is for S10. For S10+ I don't know.
You'll need to use a different CSC to go back if your CSC doesn't have it. For example I use BTB region as BTU doesn't have HVI firmware. It doesn't matter which you choose as CSC features are irrelevant on aosp.

Thank you very much I used HVI4 Spain (AMO) and I was able to update correctly
When to wait for the firmware that could be installed on HVJ5 with OTA support is it worth waiting at all ?

Great! I hope the non-plus version gets updated too, since i'm not a big fan of extra customisation
