Look at the path - "platform-tools_r33.0.3___SPACE____ (1)\platformtools"
Cmd should work regardless I think...
But still remove that " (1)" from the platform tools folder name , it might cause you issues down the road.
( Mi flash doesn't work if you place it in a path that has spaces like this )
Now , check again - open cmd and type
Code:
fastboot devices
Does your device show up? Did you press enter after typing fastboot devices?
If it shows up , to flash twrp :
Command is
Code:
fastboot boot "twrp.img"
Open twrp website to learn how to do a permanent flash.

twrp.me
Next time you wanna flash something do some research first... Flashing it with the command you found on YouTube for a different device than what you're using is an easy way to break the device...
To recover you'd have to extract boot.img / vendor_boot from your rom and flash it ( Unless you're using miui you'll have a pretty bad time ... )

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Suddenly dead. No Flash. Help please.

Okay so the thing thing is, my Xiaomi Redmi 5A suddenly died. It is stuck on the mi logo while booting until it runs out of juice. when I charge it, it shows the penguin logo, the qualcomm mode, I believe?
I can enter Fastboot mode but not Recovery.
I haven't tried flashing before and there are no service centers near me. If anyone could please please tell me what to do with it? All the threads I read showed that this occured after flashing twrp or rom but I haven't done either. Please anyone help me. I'm quite a noob when it comes to flashing. Any help is appreciated please.
Try flashing from EDL (test point) mode. What Redmi 5A are you using? You bought it from China or International version?
If you bought if from China:
1. Download China Stable fastboot firmware (Don't worry, you don't even need fastboot for this). https://xiaomifirmware.com/download/9105/
2. Download 7-Zip: https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1805.exe
3. Install 7-Zip
4. Assuming that you have and is already using a computer, right click the firmware then click 7-Zip and click "Extract Files..."

}
5. Go into the extracted folder and extract a file with the .gz extension
6. Download MiFlash: https://xiaomimiflashtool.com/d3kc
7. Install MiFlash
8. Open the folder where the firmware is extracted.
The files will be shown like this:
9. Copy the file location in the address bar
(I've highlighted where to copy. Don't copy the exact same address in the image!!!)
10. Paste the address into the MiFlash tool address bar.
11. Open up your phone's back cover (mandatory or there is no way to fix your phone)
12. Short this pins with some metal wire

I'm not sure what that is but it's the Xaoimi Flash tool, seems to be aot of places to get it but your probably safer getting it from Xaoimis website. Its a bit more complicated than the Mi tool V2 so I'd recommend a YouTube tutorial or something, good luck !!
Download Xiaomi Flash Tool - Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool Download
Download Xiaomi Flash tool is for Xiaomi smartphone and tablet device users that runs on Windows PC platforms to flash fastboot firmware files on Xiaomi smartphones. All versions of Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool download is available here
www.xiaomiflash.com
I install TWRP and flash a ROM, and all seems to be ok but when i reboot it goes to TWRP again!
Often that's caused by not wiping data or maybe not wiping it the right way. Worth a try I guess.

Help !!! . I cannot flash ROM Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (64GB/4GB)

My phone is brick . I try to install ROM in this source: https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2 and use 2 different versions below:
★ Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download
★ Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Latest Europe Stable Version Fastboot File Download
I've installed some needed software:
- MiFlash : from the link above, STEP 1
- Install driver in MiFlash
- Newest version of SDK Tool (ADB and Fastboot) (checked by cmd)
- 2 stock ROM above
But there're some problems:
Error : Missmatching device and image
I 've search and followed step from many sources so I deleted the last two lines in flash_all.bat in 2 versions as illustrated:

Then it dumped a new error:
(EEA ROM version)
(Global ROM version)
About my bootloader:
I've also debugged in powershell and figured out nothing
I kept searching but this errors didn't bring any clues or exact solutions.
How can we address this problem ?
Thanks in advance !

Mi 9 SE - locked bootloader after flashing the wrong ROM

Hello.
I have a problem with the purchased used Xiaomi Mi 9 SE.
I bought the phone and it had an unlocked Bootloader, it was not possible to pay with it using NFC.
The phone was probably ROM 12.0.XXX I think Global.
I downloaded the Fastboot 12.5.1 EU ROM and flashed it using MiFlash.
When uploading, I checked the option - clean all and lock
The upload went smoothly and was successful.
Unfortunately, after rebooting the phone enters recovery mode and it is looped like this, it displays the message:
This MIUI version can't be installed on this device :-(
I can enter fastboot and try to flash another Rom but then I get an error that the phone is locked.
Please, help me with this issue, I don't know what to do, is it possible to fix it? ? ?
I know there are people here with really great knowledge, please help. :-(

I tried to flash the ROM Global 12.0.1 again but I get the error as above
I have Miflash pro 7.3.706
Try to enter fastboot mode and flash the ROM using the flash_all script that's insideof the compressed rom by way of windows cmd or linux terminal.
Just extract the rom file until you see the folder structure there with all images and then look for a how to flash roms using fastboot. It way easier than that miui flash thing

Root Realme 9 4G (RMX3521) Without Custom Recovery

Hello,
As we all know there is no Custom Recovery available yet for our device. I decided to root the device with patched_boot.img.
I am able to root my Realme 9 4G successfully. I am sharing the procedure if someone like me, who cannot use a android mobile without root can follow the steps to root his Realme 9.
Before starting Make sure you are on RMX3521_11_A.31.
As the attached boot.img files are only for RMX3521_11_A.31.
To check your OS version Go to Settings > About device > Version and Match your Build Version. It should be RMX3521_11_A.31
First of all you have to unlock the bootloader.
Follow this Guide to unlock your bootloader.
Once your Bootloader is Unlocked. Follow the steps below
1. Download the magisk_Patched_boot.img from attachment and move it your PC.
2. Reboot your device into bootloader.
3. Open cmd in adb & fastboot directory and type the command
Code:
fastboot flash boot <drag magisk_patched_boot.img here>
And press enter.
4. Now restart your device by entering the command
Code:
fastboot reboot
5. Download the Magisk Manager and install it.
Your Device is Rooted Now. Make sure to disable the auto software update to avoid getting bootloop.

Btw there is an unofficial custom recovery for this device. It works and is tested. Here's the github link; https://github.com/cd-Crypton/custom_recovery_tree_realme_messi
